Dr. Ratner is a great veterinarian. She doesnt put your pet through any tests or treatments unless shes absolutely sure theyre needed. Her examinations are thorough and she always explains her diagnosis in an easy to understand manner, no technical jargon that throw some people into a panic. If your pet is sick and doesnt absolutely need to be admitted, she wont force you to incur the cost of an overnight stay like some vets. Every one of her staff members are also compassionate and helpful. Do not be fooled that the building isnt set up like some of those fancy pet hospitals. Her exam room and waiting area are clean and she focuses on the animals, not a flashy environment, thats whats important. I highly recommend her!

DR. RATNER IS BY FAR THE BEST VETENARIAN WE HAVE "EVER" BEEN TO (AND HAVING ALOT OF ANIMALS, WE HAVE TRIED "MANY" OTHERS)...DR. RATNER IS BOTH BRILLIANT AND SENSITIVE... HER STAFF ARE CARING, COMFORTING AND VERY HELPFUL AT "ALL" TIMES. FROM THE MINUTE YOU WALK THROUGH THE DOORS OF HER OFFICE, THE FEELING IS WARM AND FRIENDLY .. WE CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GREAT THINGS ABOUT THE ISLAND PARK ANIMAL HOSPITAL.. THE VETERINARY/DRS. AND THEIR ENTIRE STAFF!
