Home Veterinary Services run by Hal Waldman was absolutely a pleasure to work with. We had a very unfortunate situation where a family member passed away, and we were brought to Long Island from the west coast trying to make sure that the family dog, Missy, was able to go home with us. When we arrived, we found that Missy was not in the best of health and would benefit from a visit to the vet. We saw Hal Waldman, and were very impressed with his knowledge, candor, and low cost. He also knew about flying with pets, and made sure we knew that we needed a veterinarian’s clearance to fly, and gave us the paperwork and medication for her to make the long flight in minimal discomfort. Hal also gave us several directions to look at as possible primary causes for her skin condition when we get back home, as he knew we were not going to be the ultimate owners, and shampoo and medication to start treatment on the skin condition immediately. And finally, when we were unable to find her vaccination papers, he fit us in in the hours prior to our flight to make sure that the dog could go home with us. I would recommend Hal Waldman and his Home Veterinary Services to anyone.

Let me start out by saying that I NEVER do this....write reviews on Google or any search engine or social media but after my experience with this man, I am looking for EVERY spot to write a review about him. Dr Waldman is by FAR the nicest, most accommodating veterinarian I have ever met! His knowledge, expertise, compassion and bedside manner is matched with his un-inflated invoice! Most veterinarians claim to "do what they do" for the love of animals but then you get your bill and find all sorts of additional charges, and yes, I "get" the fact that there is overhead, insurance and all kinds of expenses they have to cover but then you see them driving an $80,000 car! By no means am I saying that a person who has worked hard doesnt deserve to reap the benefits, but this man CLEARLY does what he does, as well as he does, for the love of animals! The world would be a better place if there were more Dr Waldmans out there!

Dr. Waldman is a wonderful veterinarian and I highly recommend him. I called him in as a second opinion because my cat, Ollies main vet was not able to figure out the source of his health issues. They focused only on a recent surgery Ollie had, while Dr. Waldman correctly diagnosed the problem by looking at his heart instead. In addition, he made a special house call because my cat has severe anxiety whenever I bring him to the vet. He responded quickly, was friendly & caring and was very thorough during the check-up. He patiently explained everything and took the time to answer all my questions. Post check-up, whenever I have a question and leave him a message, he calls back immediately. Dr. Waldman is also reasonably priced. Ollies quality of life and my peace of mind has significantly increased (both of which you cant put a price tag on) because of Dr. Waldmans knowledge and professionalism.

Dr. Hal has been my Vet for the past 18 years, he has cared for all four of my dogs and two cats. He is the most amazing Vet I have ever found, I travel 30 mins just to see Dr. Hal. He is honest, compassionate, kind and has treated my beloved pets as though they were his. He pricing is FAIR. I have always received the best advice and guidance from him and never regret any decision I made after consulting with him. I wish he could treat me. I have met few people like Dr. Hal is this world who truly loves their work and the animals they tend to. God has a very special place set aside for people like Dr Hal who cares for animals.

Dr Waldmans been our vet for many many years. Easy to get a hold of, very down to earth, extremely knowledgeable. He always makes you feel like a priority, and hes fairly priced. Some places charge an arm and a leg and jack up pet care prices because they know youll pay it. Dr Waldman never takes advantage, but simply offers affordable and loving pet care. I definitely recommend him and his services!

Dr Waldman operated on my Yorkie for bladder stones. My dog is 4 lbs and you would not even know she had surgery...She is comfortable and I have to praise him for his stitches. From a woman who sews I can say he did a great job...We have been using Dr.Waldman for many years he has always been great with my animals and understanding with me. I highly recommend him.
