I was a patient at Restore Plus for a couple of months earlier this year. Before my treatment, I had called to verify that they accepted my insurance. Restore Plus confirmed over the phone that my insurance was indeed accepted and it allowed me for treatments 2x/week for a few months. Fast forward a couple of months, I was all of a sudden hit with a huge bill for out-of-network therapy sessions. I was extremely confused given that I had done my due diligence to verify that my insurance was accepted. My insurance company has record that a phone call had been placed by Restore Plus on the same day I had initially called them, so the inquiry was clearly made on their end to verify as well... where does the miss happen here then?! If I had known they were out-of-network I would have OBVIOUSLY explored other providers. Given how many physical therapists are in NYC, why would I WANT to pay out of pocket when I didnt need to? Restore Plus was a great option given its convenient location in Long Island City, but definitely not my only option that Id want to pay for. I called Restore Plus to reconcile the situation but they did not take ownership of the facts, but instead talked me into nonsensical circles about what may have happened and payment options. Restore Plus, at the end of the day, is clearly greedy in their business approach and not running an airtight practice, which has ultimately led to a customer paying an outrageous bill. I filed a claim with my insurance company which unfortunately did not work out in my favor, so all I can do now is pay an unnecessary bill with my hard earned dollars because some careless employee messed up and the business is not taking ownership of it. Word of advice to anyone considering going here: be sure to confirm with your insurance company DIRECTLY on whether you get coverage with Restore Plus. Its a learning for me in the go-forward but sad you cant trust the word of their staff.

I have gone to Reggie for about 2 years now on and off for different injuries. I live in Long Island and work in Brooklyn, yet I travel to Long Island city, Queens to see Reggie. I could have went to someone here in Long Island and actually did for a while because long island city is so far, but the quality of treatment and caring I receive from Reggie is unmatched. I have suffered multiple injuries in both my shoulders and Reggie treated me. He has really helped me a lot and I am at the point now that I am back to going to the gym and playing sports, which I wasnt sure was even possible after my shoulder injuries without having surgery, which I now have decided to bypass because of my positive outcome with Reggie. I highly recommend Restore Plus Physical Therapy to anyone who wants to receive great, quality care from a physical therapist who really wants to see his patients improve and get better. He easily gets 5 stars!!!

This is a long overdue review! I went here in 2014 for a rotator cuff injury of my left shoulder. After receiving treatment for about a few months, I felt so much better. My physical therapist, Tiu is very knowledgeable in this field providing me sessions that were effective, and gave me exercises to practice at home, and tips to ease my pain. Im a nurse that deals with a lot of lifting and repetitive movements, so he even showed me how to correct those movements to make things easier for me and prevent further injury or pain. The rest of the staff are very nice and were helpful throughout my visits here. I highly recommend!

Restore Plus was recommended by my primary physician for a persistent lower back pain. This being my first experience with the physical therapy, I was a bit ambivalent about it. But Reggie and his team taught me a lot about taking care of my body and maintaining the correct posture. The staff is extraordinarily patient and friendly. They go out of their way to add a personal touch to their interaction with the patient. Everyone is very accommodating as to the individual need and temperament of each client.I am very impressed with the facility and all the machines available for the workouts.

I found Restore Plus Therapy after my surgery for a left shoulder SLAP tear and at first I was a little indifferent because I felt Reggie was taking a conservative approach towards my recovery. However after three weeks Reggie and the team at Restore greatly increased my workout routine and Im seeing progress day after day after day. I still have a ways to go, but Im back to almost all of my activities and am greatly satisfied with my progress. Additionally scheduling appointments and getting for answers to questions has been extremely easy. -Sean

I was recommended to the Restore Plus by my primary doctor, and I did go there for my sciatica pain. I am very grateful to Reggie and his team because now, I feel much better free of pain doing my daily activities. It is a modern, clean office, employees are very friendly and polite. I never waited for my therapy, they would always take me on time ( which I respect this a lot). I would recommend Restore plus to everyone, Reggie is excellent and knowledgeable and he would select the right therapy for you.

The team is so helpful, friendly and kind. They treat you like a family member. A big thank for Jenny (My therapist). She was extremely friendly, caring and very cautious about culture sensitivities. Wow -- I never thought I would enjoy physical therapy! Reggie, Lucy and the entire staff made the challenge to get better a positive experience. The staff was extremely knowledgeable, professional and sensitive to my needs. The office is clean and cheery. The staff happily answered my countless questions about my exercises. The owner, Reggie, runs a tight ship and made sure he checked on my progress every time I was there. If you have to go to PT, this is the place!

Excellent team supervised by Reggie! Came here after an ACL reconstruction and menisci surgery and was back on my feet in no time! The staff are diligent and committed and always have a smile. They are also very flexible with their schedule and are very accommodating. It is great to have Physio clinic such as Restore Plus in the community. Also a very smooth process with my insurance company. I would highly recommend Restore Plus.

I am so grateful to have found Restore Plus, my lower back recovery couldnt have been better. The facility is clean, well maintained, Reggie and his staff are professional and friendly, no waiting time, and the list could go on. My goal is to stay healthy and not have to see them again, but in case I do need to see a physical therapist again, then I know where to go (and so do you now :-)).

Reggie is an amazing Physical Therapist. He listens carefully to the way I describe my pain and explains what is going on and how each exercise will help me. The staff all know me by name and are very friendly. I started to feel better within 2 weeks of starting PT with Reggie, and am working on building up the strength and good habits that will prevent my pain from returning.
