I came here for annual checkup and to get annual supply of contact lenses. The doctor, Eddie Li, was great, very knowledgeable and patient. It was only strange that he asked for medical insurance card in addition to the vision insurance card. He asked me to come again and bring my old contacts so he could compare the prescription. (They could have told me to bring them before I came). The front office said they do not have the contacts and that I should order them online. I ordered the contacts, submitted for reimbursement to my vision insurance, and got denied. James Leonard Opticians have already charged my vision insurance for the contacts! When I went to the store and complained, they said they could order the lenses for me. I complained to my vision insurance company and got reimbursed after a few weeks. Surprise, surprise, my *health* insurance was also charged $230 for a supposed eyelid infection treatment. I contacted my health insurance to tell them I just went there for a checkup, and I dont know if they ever resolved that. I am not going there any more.

Top people! They gave me a computerized eye test and got me a prescription and two pairs of glasses in a SINGLE day. I broke my old pair of glasses and needed a spare urgentely. They definitely are the best opticians in town and they also have an office in Brooklyn as well. Definitely recommend speaking with Joe. Fine guy. Gets the job done and is extremely professional. Great service, have great variety, fantastic catalogue and they left me a highly satisfied customer. Absolutely deserve a 5/5 stars for their great work.

I went today based on the favorable google reviews and it was awesome. Great selection of unique frames and I paid less for my glasses at James Leonard Opticians than I ever have at my local Todays Vision (with insurance!). They were super helpful, showed me around the store then left me alone to search. When I was ready, they provided input to help me narrow down my selections and choose a super cute frame. Lots of different price points and styles to choose from.

Very pleasant, professional office experience. Excellent service. Doctor was very thorough on her examination. I will recommend this office to anyone the Zeiss lenses really helped my vision much more than any other lense Ive ever wore.
