We werr patients here for over 10 years. I should have went somewhere else sooner but stayed for convenience. Dr. Performed "extensive" tests on my sick cat... told me she couldnt identify anything wrong. Billed me over $500 for those tests and then recommended an ultra sound; I asked the cost and learned it was close to another $500. I understand that medical testing can be costly, but professional should at least communicate the costs clearly before performing the tests without asking and billing patients. After paying almost thousands with no solution i continued to have ongoing issues with my sick cat and decided to finally switch to a new vet. I called to request records be transferred to another office and I was told I had to pay an outstanding balance of $50 before they would release the records. So these crooks managed to squeeze another sum out of me for the last time. In retrospect in the last ten years everytime I have visited this office, they have recommended I buy something ... expensive special food... Paramone spray... a special brush. Bottom line ... money. Not care or concern for the wellness of my animals.

I had to review, based on the extremely negative review I just read. Ive had three experiences with three different cats. My first cat, Blanche hadnt been to the vet since her initial vaccines, she developed acute onset of kidney stones, I took her there as an emergency, she needed surgery and was transported to spring valley and had a successful surgery. The experience was excellent. The care, the doctors, the providers were all wonderful. My next was Shepa, two years ago, who required surgery after eating some string from a Christmas toy, he was very sick, developed peritonitis and required a second surgery. Dr. Saunders called me many times to update me on his condition. I felt like she was a family member. Shepa is here with me playing because of her. My lady was Austin, my boy who need to go peacefully over the rainbow bridge. Dr. Saunders came to my house. My experiences with all of my cats have been exceptional.

Ive always have had an exceptional experience here. To be honest, I rave about this place to all my friends. Dr. Saunders knows how to handle cats and is extremely caring and attentive. I have never been to a better vet. All vets are pricey (citing a previous review). I also have never had them force me to buy anything. I could go on and on, but I cant say enough good things about Dr. Saunders and her staff at the Cat Care Clinic of Nyack.

Dr. Mo is the best with our small dog. She is caring, follows up, and knows her stuff. Ive been to a few other vets around Rockland, but havent changed since we first visited her.
