The doctors are super vague in the ultrasound section and never explains or suggest what procedures to take in order to prevent risks and how to make your pregnancy healthier. They will just let you know the when the problem is already happening. They will make you take tests without your permission and concern, also does not inform you about the complications or what they are viewing in their terms. Even the regular prenatal doctor are not informative enough, they just rush you through the checkup process to be done and on to the next paitent. I was once told that my 34 weeks old fetus can be likely to be born with down syndrome only because of having short limbs. It was my first pregnancy and I started crying and even seeing me like that they didnt even say whether its 100% positive or it can be false they just made me take a test without explaining anything leaving me stressed, depressed, and sleepless for two whole weeks until the next appointment after two long weeks when the results came out showing low risk and the baby is fine just on the shorter side. They never tell you anything unless you ask breifly. Worst ultrasound technicains and docs ever. I had to ask people in general and friends who works in the medical field and within them I got some hope that short limbs does not say anything about down syndrome, the test was just taken to be aware of all defects. If they have just explained it that way I could have saved a lot of tears and worries. They have shown the worst service I have ever came across and does not even define the work and respect a doctors position places in.

Im not surprised that this place has so many negative reviews . I came here as an expecting mother for the first time to the obgyn center , I didnt know that I had to call my insurance before hand and tell them that Im pregnant and needed prenatal care so they told me to call my insurance (although I asked them when I booked my phone over the phone if my normal insurance was okay , they never mentioned that I needed to change my insurance to prenatal ) so after spending about an hour with my insurance, they told me that they couldnt accept it because it wasnt active so they told me to call Medicaid, so after another hour on the phone with Medicaid (which got processed the same day, I received my number and all) they told me that they couldnt see me and that I had to RESCHEDULE MY APPOINTMENT ! They literally wasted my time and gave me attitude BECAUSE I told them that they wasted my time. You should KNOW YOUR JOB it makes no sense how you deliberately waste somebodies for 3 hours knowing the outcome. They give northwell a bad name because northwell in longisland is truly a great place!

This review is for the Cardiology Department. Love wasting their patients time! I specifically made an appointment for an echo cardiogram in person and provided the referral. But when I arrived for my appointment - after waiting for 2 hrs, all I got was an EKG and asked to either wait another hour if I wanted to do an echo cardiogram or come back. Frustrated because I was already there for almost 3rhs by then, I said Ill come back. 2nd appointment-2 hrs later they tell me that the appointment was made for a follow up and not a echo! They really need to get their act together! Waited for yet another hour and finally did my echo cardiogram that lasted 15 minutes. So inefficient with setting up appointments and handling patients. I do like my cardiologist though, he provided clear and thorough explanations on my test results.

I would say this Ive been to many hospital this place is one of the worst hospitals Ive ever been to I would say if you was dying dont even come to this place first most of the staff is very unprofessional one was actually walking around drinking coffee my wife had a doctor named dr poncher he did not wanna hear anything thing I had to say mind you my wife could not even speak for her self besides that he threatened to call security on me like all I was trying to explain to him is my wife is not in her right state of mind but that did not mean anything to him after speaking with her and not getting all the info he need he then came to me to ask questions just a waist of time I would never come back to this place and I dont advice anyone to come here.

"Its RUDE to call the Doctor and ask them where they are". This is what the receptionist told us after we waited almost two hours, for a doctor to see my 4 year old child.( THEY WERE MORE CONCERNED ABOUT WHAT THE DOCTOR WILL THINK RATHER THAN THE 4 YEAR OLD CHILD IN SEVERE PAIN) ".As per them the doctor had been telling them, she is coming in for the past two hours". My only concern was my child had severe pain in the ear( Most likey an ear infection) Not the good service(and complele lack of empathy) from a premiere name like LIJ

We went to get blood drawn from our incredibly difficult 1-year-old. Nicole was patient, kind, and witty, as well as professional and quick. For context, we had previously gone to a hospital, and it took three doctors to get the blood drawn as well as countless needles. Nicole spent a little time playing with our son so he wouldnt freak out, found the vein, and got the blood in one try. THANK YOU!

I do not recommend this location at all for expecting mothers. My first visit I was in a waiting room for 5 hours yes 5 hours second time around 3 hours. This place is extremely unprofessional and unorganized. The ob that saw me never bothered in introducing herself and did a 2 minute sono said baby was breach and come back in 2 weeks.

Was referred to this center by the Northwell Health hotline, who found them based on insurance provider and location. Northwell Health hotline connected me to the center over the phone, and as soon as I mentioned to them my insurance, the receptionist hung up mid sentence. Serious?

please please please do not go into this place... I have very bad experience with this laboratory services ... in three months I had called more than 50 times still not getting the blood work report ....they do not pick up the phone nor call back...worst place I have ever seen....

This facility tarnishes the reputation of Northwell health (formely NSLIJ). For the most part the staff is unprofessional and they have no regard for peoples time. I believe there is significant room for improvement as I only wish the best for the NSLij healthcare system.

The Doctor and crew were very efficient and in fact, amazed me with wonderful services. However, I never received bill for my co-payment. I keep trying to call the facility and am never able to reach the billing person, nor my call is returned yet.

Was told by front desk staff my insurance was accepted and two months later I get billed with a hefty "hospital" bill because Im out-of-network. The clinic experience wasnt pleasant as well.
