I had an emergency and was in excruciating pain. They gave me a next day appointment. I waited 30 minutes to see the dentist I was recommended to see. I didnt mind the wait because I drugged myself with pain pills the morning before the appointment and I wasnt feeling anything in the waiting room except wanting to sleep. In a nutshell the doctor did two root canals. Fitted me for two independent crowns and gave me antibiotics to take. The staff was excellent as was the doctor for relieving and eliminating the problem with my teeth. The staff understands what pain is and tries to work with you not against you. The doctor did two other root canals at a later date. The only concern I have been having is that the crowns are not sitting correctly in my mouth and causing problems with the gums due to food getting stuck in between and under the crowns. I went back and one of the crowns was removed and a new impression was done and a new crown was ordered. I am now in pain from the other crown due to food getting under it and caught under the gum and it hurts. Flossing doesnt do the trick nor picking the area with a dental pick. Thus, my ear is feeling it. I can hardly talk and have not eaten anything today but only drank protein shakes and pain medication. I am going back tomorrow and ask them to try again to do the same as they did with the first crown and remove it and make a new impression. I am certain I have either an abscess or infection. Either case I am in discomfort. I hope they take me in tomorrow because I dont have an appointment. I am just going to walk in screaming my ear off because the pain/infection? is shooting to the ear. The root canals were a breeze and painless. The staff is always pleasant. The Doctor has been very nice. I know she will do the right thing and take care of this crown and hopefully, when she places the crown I have been waiting for back in my mouth, it will be better than the first one. Life is not perfect and without fault. Even at the dentist the road can be bumpy. Whats important is that all bumps smooth out at the end and I am certain Doctor (?) will do right by me and correct the problems. I am grateful and happy with the service and the staff, knowing that life has no guarantee, but believing that the problems will be addressed without contesting makes me confident in the practice.. I travel 202 miles round trip to Hylan Dental. I believe in them.

Five Star Horrific! If I had the power to padlock this place to help prevent others from what I went through, I would after two months of aggravation due to their neglect of service. Went there to have cleaning and x-rays done, after the examination it was determine that dental work needed to be done and was told to call back in two weeks to see if work would be approved by our insurance company.. Within 2 months we have learned that they NEVER submitted any claims to our insurance company, as to which a claim submitted to the insurance would normally be determined within 3 business days as told by our insurance company. They tried to get us to pay out of pocket to get the work done while awaiting approval and reimbursement from the insurance. Later one we have learned from our dental insurance company that they are no longer in their network therefore they would make the money and loose it all! Prevent yourself from being a victim of these lies and scams by always checking your dental providers status with your dental insurance company!!!!! Shame on Hylan Dental Arts for their unprofessional neglect and attempt to scam a patient!! I hope they loose their licenses to practice dental work!

If I could give this place negative stars I would. How they are still in business is a mystery. Made an appointment on ZocDoc and was called about an hour later to be informed that they would be closed on that day. If you plan on being closed it should state that on a major website where patients can make appoints for YOUR business. Anyway. Went in for my scheduled appointment and wait 2 hours to see the doctor. The dental assistant, who was wearing open toe shoes by the way, gave me the roughest cleaning Ive ever had. Ive never had to spit so much blood out of my mouth during a cleaning before in my life. Then after my cleaning I waited another hour in the chair while the staff had lunch. After waiting the doctor came and took a look at my x-ray and told me practically all of the teeth on the bottom row needed fillings. That is when I got up and left. What the doctor failed to see on my x-rays was that I had a gum infection that the dentist I saw a month later picked up.

TERRIBLE. ABSOLUTE WASTE OF TIME. I waited for over two hours for my scheduled appointment with my fidgety five year old and still was not seen by the dentist. Then they started taking other clients back that had just walked in. I complained to the front desk after they called the first person back and was told that he would only be two seconds. Ten minutes later the person still had not come out and they called a second person back. When I complained to the nurse that called him she told me to take it up with the front desk. Nobody should have to wait two hours to be seen by a dentist, especially when its obvious that you have young children waiting to be seen as well. Save yourself the aggravation and just go someplace else. Their state of the art office is not worth having your time wasted.

This dentist office is EXTREMELY disorganized and chaotic. First time I went in, I spend 5 hours in there. 1.5 hrs in the waiting room and 3.5 in the chair. Waiting for xrays, waiting for doctor, numerous dental nurses walking in, none of them have any idea of what is going on. It was a crazy experience. I was in pain and needed a tooth extraction, so I was in no position to walk away. Now its been more than a month Im still waiting for the office to get back to me about some cosmetic dental work that is desperately needed. Dr. Yelena cares about quantity of patients, not about quality care and that is a shame. Enough said, Im moving on to another dentist.

The management at this facility is very very poor. They ask 5 to 6 people to come at the same time. So be ready to spend at least 2 hours at the office just waiting... If you want to take the copy of your X rays somewhere else they will charge you $50 for it, for smth. that your insurance company has already paid. The front desk is absolutely unapologetic. They will fight with a customer no matter what. They will blame you for their fault. The Doctor was rude. Upon completion of the procedure she refused to answer any of my questions. The place itself leaves much to be desired.

Awful service and doctor Khrapko Elena is a terrible specialist. Does not need procedures to take money from insurance. The seal that she put out a week later, when I came to remodel, waited with the baby with me for 2 hours and they took 3 people without queue because they were Her acquaintances or something else. I could not stand it and left. Told me to come 8 more times, I need to do 8 teeth. The doctor who later reworked the seal, only laughed, there were only 2 teeth with caries
