I just had an incredible dental experience with Dr. Ed Caruso. This was not a typical situation. In fact it was a dental emergency and I was from out of town to boot. I live in Tennessee and was headed to New Jersey for a big family event. The night before I flew in, I chipped my front tooth. It was not the most attractive looking site and you could imagine how upset I was. I mentioned it to my cousin in town and she suggested that as soon as I landed to call Dr. Caruso. I thought it would be an impossible feat to call a dentist on a Saturday and I wasn’t one of Dr. Caruso’s regular patients but I was in much need of assistance. I decided to text him as soon as I got off the plane and with in minutes he contacted me. He asked me to send him a picture of my chipped tooth. So I did! His response was, “that is pretty easy to fix, meet me in my office and I will repair it for you”. I was amazed! As soon as I got out of the airport I headed to his office. There he was ready to go and before I knew it my tooth was as good as new. As I sat in the dentist chair, I paid very close attention to what he was doing. I was truly impressed. He is clearly passionate about what he does and it shows in his work. Dr. Caruso is a true artist of dentistry. As he went through the process of repairing my tooth, he kept me abreast of the process and checked in with me when needed to make sure I was comfortable. He also cleaned my teeth that same day and I couldn’t believe the difference before and after (yes, he showed me before and after photos). This was a technique I had never seen before called an ultrasonic cleaning. Honestly, after I left his office, I wanted to figure out a way to make my bi yearly visits with him. Dentists are a very personal choice and he is clearly now my first choice. If you are looking for a dentist, Dr. Caruso is the person to see. No need to search for other dentists and read other reviews. Your search is over. Give him a call!

I would suggest to anyone considering going to this dentist to "google" Edmund Caruso and New Jersey Board of Dentistry 2016 and click on the links and read. The New Jersey Board of Dentistry is essentially a board of his peers and you might be interested in what they have to say. I was once a patient of Doctor Caruso and I can not speak highly of my experience at all. And my good doctor, anticipating your reply, here is my reply to your reply: some of the things addressed by the NJ Board of Dentistry did not happen over a decade ago(although quite a few things happened over a decade ago), they happened just a few years ago. And over thirty years in business is not necessarily an indication of a good business. North Korea has been up and running for way longer than that. Do you think longevity is a good reason to want to go and visit North Korea? The good doctor has been successful in removing my reviews from Yelp. Lets see if he has the same success in getting this review removed from Google.

We just finished some technically difficult and complicated dentistry in the front of my mouth (my main smile area)) I just want to thank Dr Caruso and his great staff for making everything come out beyond expectations and giving me a smile I never thought I could have (better than my college days!) Dr Caruso always explains everything exactly and proceeds to make me comfortable. Dr Caruso is extremely professional and the office staff are wonderful. The office has been recently updated and immaculate clean and neat with new stuff and flat screens to keep me distracted. Dr Caruso is very exacting and only does things that make me 110% happy - his aesthetic judgments are great and he has guided me into having a HOLLYWOOD SMILE THANKS DR CARUSO!!!

its an honest to God nightmare coming here . Its been well over 7 months almost 8 months that Ive been dealing with this sorry excuse for an office. I highly regret coming here and regret not getting educated with the board of dentistry ahead of time. Because now their will be attorneys involved insurance company. You are all in for a long and costly ride of your lives my friends. Youve been warned. And since a review is the only thing that flags the dentist attention instead of returning any calls I have no choice But to leave another review if my opinion and honest experience. I feel like going on a review rampage lol Ive stressed over this and let it take all the savings I had in the bank for 7 months when is enough enough I wish I could erase all memory and time from this awful place.

Ill keep this brief because I tend to be verbose: 1. Extremely Professional (staff and Doctor) 2. Personable and Accommodating: always have great conversations and they remember what I like to watch on the tele 3. Informative: The doctor always explains his procedures to you. 4. Technology Friendly: The doctor stays up to date with the latest techniques and machinery needed for top notch dentistry. 5. Experienced: The doctor has been doing this for 29 going on 30 years so youre dealing with a seasoned veteran. No rookie mistakes here. Id recommend the president himself to be patient with Dr. Caruso. Please, if youre in the area, come try the doc out. Youll want him as your Dentist for years to come.

I was trying to help a friend who was getting ripped by Dr Caruso and his practice. He needed a root canal and the doctor told him hed do it for $520. (Original price was $1095 but my friend said he couldnt afford it.) After 2 visits he paid $520 but they said theyre not done and hell need to come 2 more times (!) and pay $670 on top of what he already paid. I thought that was a simple misunderstanding and called them. Teresa showed all the signs of trying to cover up a scheme - she kept mixing up the numbers and the names of procedures. Im surprised they have good reviews online with such sly practices. Make sure you get a written quote from them before you get any service done.

Dr. Caruso is very personable and took the time to get to know me. He even walked me through my entire dental procedure so I knew what to expect. This was my first time visiting this office and it was very nice and comfortable. With coffee service, television and nice comfy chairs. Dr. Caruso is also tech savy with digital imaging for xrays and lights on his instruments as well. Once brought back to the exam room, each chair has an individual television with a large selection of dvd movies to choose from. Overall this was a great unexpected experience at the dentist! I would highly recommend this dentist.

Dr Ed is a conscientious meticulous Dentist who has taken care of me for almost 20 years. I had a lot of problems when I first went to Dr Ed. He quickly resolved them with some root canal and a bridge my denture. He has been great and the bridge and all my other teeth are doing fine for the last 20 years all due to Ed and his no nonsense approach ( and his painless touch) thanks Dr Ed for being there for me!!! Your a GREAT DENTIST.
