To whom it may concern, I have had no shortage of dental problems, and visited many other dentist over the years, when I recently turned to Dr. Matthew Scaffa to be my dentist. Make no mistake, this is no small mater for me. I’ve been dentist hopping for years never finding the right one for reasons I’m sure you can relate to. A Big City Dentist with a Small Town Feel. Dr. Matthew Scaffa and his staff provide what many of us from smaller towns are looking for; caring, personal and attentive service, but with all of the modern dentistry techniques and equipment available in a large metropolitan area. I have been Dr. Matthew Scaffa patient for a short time and I feel like he has been my family dentist for life. For many, visiting the dentist is an unwelcome and even dreaded necessity. However, visiting Dr. Matthew Scaffa office is as pleasurable experience as one could ever hope for in medical care. What can I say, the man literally put a smile on my face. I once walked around my work place, head down and seldom spoke because my teeth were in utterly corrupt shape. I was self-conscious that people would see my teeth and be disgusted. I acted as if I was an antisocial person. Once Dr. Matthew Scaffa had completed working on my teeth, everyone in my office and around started to notice a confident, out spoken, humorous person. They thought I changed, or was inspired somehow. Truth is, after Dr. Matthew Scaffa repaired my teeth I was able to just be myself again. At first I smiled so hard and long my cheeks hurt for days on end. It is evident that Dr. Matthew Scaffa cares deeply about his patients well being, and that fact is continually reinforced throughout each visit. His staff know you by name and provide a welcoming family atmosphere. They bend over backwards to help with insurance, billing and appointments when you want them. The hygienist is excellent. I recommend Dr. Matthew Scaffa without reservation!!! If he isnt completely satisfied with the work he has done, whether it be cosmetic or otherwise, he will always take the time to make things perfect. Im never uncomfortable when getting my dental work done, as his professionalism and experience is only matched by his warm and calming demeanor. Dr. Matthew Scaffa, his wife, and son, are among the very best and most enjoyable medical professionals Ive ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Highly Recommended!!!" From the moment I called, the pleasant experience began. The receptionst was able to fit me in the next day! The hygienist was fantastic!! She walked me around the office showing me all of the cool new gadgets the office uses to keep your teeth looking great. I was not used to this process, but now that Im thinking about it, it was really nice and welcoming. When the hygienist started cleaning my teeth she was very informative. Her head is FULL of dental knowledge and she loves to share it. Ive been going to the dentist for 30 years and have learned more in this short visit than all other dental visits combined! She explained what everything was that she was using and doing to my teeth, as well as shared some good practices for keeping my teeth clean and healthy. She is also very friendly, we talked about everything from the weather to coffee places. I felt really comfortable. When it was time to see Dr. Scaffa he greeted me with a smile and a handshake. He seems very friendly, and down to Earth which is important to me. He also took the time to explain the tools he would be using on me. I am very satisfied with the treatment I received at the office!! The music they play is great too.. something you can tap your feet to while enjoying your dentist experience!!

I am a fairly new patient of Dr. Scaffa but I could not be happier. As a child, I received braces, but like the majority of others, I never wore my retainer. After numerous years of being unhappy with my smile, I decided to put my trust in Dr. Scaffa and his staff and receive Invisalign. I am currently half way through my treatment and I am amazed at the progress so far. I am excited to see the final result. Dr. Scaffa has always been honest and a perfectionist (like myself) regarding my case, and he is exceeding my expectations. Everytime I go to the office, I am always treated like family, the staff are accommodating, helpful, and professional, and the office is immaculate (I am HUGE on cleanliness) . I will continue to use Dr. Scaffa, even as my primary Dentist moving forward. They are absolutely amazing and I highly recommend Dr. Scaffa and his team.

I have the good fortune to be a patient of Dr. Scaffa for 29 years. When it comes to dentistry, I’m a chicken. But I always feel comfortable at Dr. Scaffa’s office because he pays attention to every little detail. If I need a few seconds during a procedure to catch my breath or regain my composure, Dr. Scaffa senses it and gives me the time I need. He is very professional and always thinks about what is best for the patient. And I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge the wonderful staff at the office. Everyone there makes the trip to the dentist a much more pleasant experience. If you’re looking for a dental office where you will be treated well, you just found it.

Look no place else.. best dentist office on the Island!!! I have been coming here for 21 years. My whole family are patients of Dr. Scaffa and we have nothing but great things to say! Such a friendly and warm environment. I love how it is family run and all the staff there are terrific! They are considerate of your time, easy scheduling, and excellent service. I always enjoy going too my regular checkups just so I can see everyone. Over the years they have become like family! Thank you Dr. Scaffa and staff for providing the best service out there!

Growing up in Brooklyn all my life I was worried about finding a good dentist on Staten Island. How lucky am I that on my 1st shot I found Dr. Scaffa & his staff? Dr. Scaffa & his wife Donna are fantastic people. They make you feel like family from the minute you step into the office. I was very pleased that Dr. Scaffa was so in tune to my comfort during my root canal. The dental hygienist (Collin) is an absolute doll. The front desk will assist & accomodate you with no problems at all, simply the best!!!

Ive been dealing with Dr Scaffa for a while now, when I first went to the dentist I was petrified! Dr Scaffa and his staff make it such a pleasant experience! Im currently in the process of fixing a cap on my front tooth and I have gotten more compliments on my temporary cap than I have gotten on my real cap from my previous dentist! As much as I always hated going to the dentist, it doesnt seem all that bad anymore knowing that your in good hands!! Highly recommend him!!

I started going to Dr Scaffa a few years ago after negecting my teeth for years. He never made me feel bad about my teeth neglect. His staff and himself are kind people that make the dentist a great experience. I was in a bind the day before my wedding! My filling came loose. Dr. scaffa and his staff fit me in last minute and had my teeth perfect for the big day! I cant say enough about what an amazing dentist Dr. Scaffa is. I cant thank them enough!
