I had called to make an appointment for my 2.5 year old. I specifically asked if the dr can assist because he has warts on his feet. Yes, she can take care of that. After waiting for an hour and a half to see her, first an assistant came and told me about a cream to use that they make worth $45. Then she left. Another girl came in and just started talking. I introduced myself to prompt her to do the same. She just gave me a first name. Upon asking who she was did she tell me she was the pa. Again, tried to sell their cream. I asked to see the doctor. After all, my $40 copy and whatever else they will bill my insurance should at least get me to see the doctor. She finally comes in and asks what we have. Doesnt even look at my sons foot and tells me about the cream. When I asked her what causes this, she said I could look online. Then why am I even here to see you I said. Plus she goes on to say that medicines sometimes work and sometimes dont. So the product she had been trying to sell could be useless. Then she just left. Clearly this office is just about money. Didnt ask names, how long this has been happening. Additionally, while waiting to be seen, I could hear a woman next door trying to sell another product to a patient for an extra $180 so she could "save" money. All about money. She certainly does not embody the medical oath and patient care the last thing on her mind.

Despite my past experiences with Dr. Lederman and her Associates, I thought after all the terrible reviews and personal stories that I heard, Dr. Lederman would have taken notice of her rude, disrespectful and demeaning reputation seriously enough to make a change. I decided to return back after 10 + years and see if things have change for the better since I had no other option, considering my daughters school nurse wrote a note for her to be seen as soon as possible. Reluctantly, but still optimistic and hopeful, since so many years past by, I can say I had the same if not worst experience with her and an her Assistant. I was appalled by her rude, condescending nasty attitude by both herself and her Associate. I made it known that I would not return ever again. After waiting for an hour and her spending less than a minute with my daughter she shouldnt receive a dime from any insurance company. She needs to go back to school and learn how to have a better bedside manners, and teach her staff by example. I will continue with my current Dermatologist, Dr. Contard, who is a patient, kind, personable Doctor who takes the time to fully examine, explain and answers questions and concerns. Unfortunately, he was not in today. Lesson well learned!

20 yrs. ago, Dr. Lederman looked at this black growth on my ear (I had a lot of skin cancer from having lived in Florida for 35 years when I was younger) and told me it wasnt cancer; it was a Seborrheic Keratosis. She also told me there was nothing she could do re: removing it, that it would get infected and keep coming back. (I kept my hair long to cover my ears, because my 8th grade students were merciless: "Mr. Carroll, do you have a fungus growing on your ear?" etc.) 10 years later I found another dermatologist who removed it for me. (He told me that my insurance wouldnt cover it because it was cosmetic surgery not a cancer removing surgery. He was nice enough to write it up as a biopsy so I was covered.) And yes, after removed, it did become infected. I had to use an antibiotic for 2 weeks. Its been 10 years and it hasnt come back and has never been infected again.. Im not angry that Dr. Lederman didnt offer me the same apparently illegal solution, I just think that she could have told me the truth; i.e., she could do it but Id have to pay for it. She seemed more concerned with way too many patients overbooked into the same hour for maximum profit than with my problem.

This place is just goddamn awful. I never write reviews on places and Ive had about enough with these people. I cannot wait to get the hell out of there and never return again. First, they are the worst when it comes to talking over the phone. They never answer and never respond to voice mails. When I finally get a hold of someone, they are rude and transfer you around until you seemingly give up. If you are lucky to get someone who can actually help you, they make you feel dumb. ALL I NEED IS SOMEONE TO HELP ME OUT WITH SOMETHING THAT WILL TAKE TWO MINUTES. Ive been dealing with this over a month! I am so sick and tired of dealing with these people. I understand all the reviews are seemingly good on here but to be completely honest they are most likely fake. Look at other websites for more accurate descriptions of these people. DO NOT COME HERE.

Dr. Lederman is an amazing Dermatologist. She has helped me with my acne. She took the time to ask questions about my issues and concerns. She made the correct diagnosis on the first visit and got it right. My skin has been great ever since. She is so nice and makes you feel like she is really there to help. The staff is amazing and has great customer service skills. My skin now is flawless, I get compliments on it all the time, and most of all I am way more happier and confident in my skin. Dr. Lederman is great, she is very patient and very confident in her knowledge. She truly knows her profession. If I need anything else related to skin care in the future, Dr. Lederman will be my first choice. I will let all my friends and family members know about the great treatment that I received from Dr. Ledermans office.

I went to Dr. Lederman for some cosmetic procedures. I had botox and Radiesse injections. I dont think she even looked at my face before she started to inject. Needless to say the results left me looking exactly the way I looked before the filler injections. The botox was fine, but the fillers, well, I dont believe she has the experience a plastic surgeon may have in knowing exactly where they should be placed in order to achieve the desired results. I would hope that Dr. Lederman would understand that these injections are very expensive and that she should be at the top of her game while administering them. Perhaps she should stick to dermatology until she has the expertise and TIME needed to deliver quality service in the cosmetic field.

I am shock that this Dr lederman is allow to operate a business in NYC, both her and her staff should have there license revoked, I did not think that Racism Still Exists but it sure do exist in her office, this was my first time going there, I waited 2 hrs and 45 mins, then one of her PA saw me and I was told that they dont have the right equipment or experience with colored people skin. I am so angry after wasting 2hrs and 45mins in her dirty waiting room and with no place to sit, to be told that they could not help me because OF MY SKIN COLOR. I am going to take this to whoever I can and make sure she gets shut down for what her and her staff is doing. This KIND OF BEHAVIOUR IS UNACCEPTABEL, And should not be allowed.
