Was a customer for over 5 years. Had a bad experience trying to get my records from the Chandler office. They made me go to the Tempe office because they are unorganized and are unable to fax paper work between offices for some reason. When I asked the store manager for her supervisors name and number at the Chandler office I was told that there isnt a supervisor and that the store manager was the one and only boss. Found out that she lied, of course, and complained to the supervisor after finding her on the internet. Also had an issue with an eye doctor that refused to write me a doctor note for school because my eyes hurt from the light when looking in microscopes. She flat out called me a liar even though a previous doctor at 20/20 Image said I have Photophobia. I told her this and that I am not trying to get out of class work as the note would allow me to look at printed pictures or pictures from the internet instead of having to look in the microscope but she still refused. I was a patient stating pain from light which a doctor there previously diagnosed me and included in his previous notes and provided alternative class work I could do instead of using microscopes but their new doctor still refused to do her job while I was still a patient and being seen for an eye exam by said physician.

My experience wasn’t that great. I placed my order to get new lens installed in my frame . I spent over 260 with insurance on my lens. After 1 week I go to pick up my lens and there was a large line scratch down the middle of the frame vertically on the left lens. So they apologized and sent it back to the lab. I waited another week to finally pick it up. I had to wait 2 weeks to pick up my overpaid expensive lens that were supposed to be scratch resistant but clearly it’s not if it was brought in from the lab with a giant scratch again. I’ve been coming to 20/20 for the last 5 years for all my eye needs but the prices have increased and the customer service has dropped in service. I had to even call several times asking for the status of my glasses instead of the office informing me. I paid 266 for my lens which included poly carbon ( which is supposed to be already scratch resistant I come to find out) , they added scratch resistant , transitions which hiked up the price even more. If it wasn’t for my 250.00 insurance I wouldn’t have paid so much. I probably won’t go back to 20/20 next year unless their customer service gets better. Honestly , I feel like for my double efforts and the lab screwing up , an apologize sometimes isn’t enough.

I was cheated by this store!!! I felt so angry and disappointed! I spent $368.65 dollars to buy two 6 packs contact lenses in this store on 7/11/2016. Its really expensive spend that much money on two 6 packs but their sales told me there would be $100 visa gift card rebate mailed to me so I agreed to make the purchase. Then I went home and waited about 2 months, I did not get any rebate in my mail. So I visited this store again around October and asked about it. The same girl said I was supposed to fill a form and mail it out within 14 days after the purchase. But she never said anything about I have to do that. So the end is she would fill and mail the form for me. Then I went home again and waited for it. Over another 2 months later, I still got nothing. I went to this store the 3rd time. A different girl, her name is Danielle, said she will do some research and call me about it. A few days later, she did call me and say they will cut me a $40 checks as rebate... I questioned why its only $40. She said the manufactory only provide $40. That means the previous girl lied to me!!! I will not buy such expensive contact lenses if there is no $100 rebate... I was so mad and told to keep that $40. I will never go to this store again!!!!

Great experience! A year ago, Hilary at the Scottsdale location helped me pick out new glasses. I must have tried on 20 pair of frames, and with Hillarys help, narrowed them down to 3, and I couldnt decide and asked Hillary to make the final choice.. She did great and Ive had nothing but compliments on my glasses and lenses! I bought progressive digital lenses with polarized transition with scratch resistant coatings. A year later, the staff at the Chandler location inspected my lenses, and found 2 minor scratches that I wasnt even aware of, and offered to replace them for free! Then I had an eye exam with Dr McCord. Dr McCord took the time to answer all my questions, and explained what he could tell by examining the digital photos of my eyes, veins the retina, overall health, etc.. Being a transplant to AZ, I fully appreciate the personal service Ive experienced at 2020 Image eye center! Thank You! John L (May 2017)

The folks 20/20 Image Eye Center are definitely top notch. It was apparent from the moment I walked through the door. From the first greeting everything just got better and better. Actually, from my first phone inquiry about my insurance plan. They knew everything about it right from the beginning. Everything I expected from the plan was exactly what I got, no questions asked. From the first greeting, to the preliminary eye tests right through to the Dr. everything was explained fully and knowledgeably (is that a word?). The Dr. was quick, but you could tell that was just his personality, not him trying to rush me through anything. All tests were explained, time was left for questions...and all just went very smoothly. I always knew what was coming next and what to expect. Yeah, definitely a recommendation of the highest from me. Youll see, just go!

Ive been going to the Chandler 2020 eye center for 3/4 years now instead of the one close to me in Tempe because of the level of care and service provided by Dr McCord and staff. The store is spacious with good variety and the staff are always approachable and answer the questions I may have, Dr McCord especially is very good at that. Not to mention help me find the best deals either through my insurance or in store. I just went for my yearly exam this year and was able to get $80 prescription sun glasses a real game changer for me because I am sensitive to light while I drive. I never thought that would be possible because usually prescription sun glasses can cost between $200-400+ and I dont have that kind of money right now. Id recommend them to anyone especially close friends and family.

Scheduling a long overdue appointment was efficient and easy. I also received a courtesy reminder the morning of my appointment. When I arrived, the staff were warm and courteous and as a new patient for this location, completing the paperwork was accomplished quickly. I was guided through all the exam steps by professional and courteous staff members. Dr. McCord is very professional and explains everything during all parts of the examination. I am very pleased with the care and service I received. The selection of frames is modern and the inventory offers a nice variety to choose from. Everyone was helpful in helping me find just the right frame best suited not only for my prescription, but also for general aesthetic purpose.
