I have a very small BCBS plan (Alliance) which many physicians are not contracted with. I looked up the Nationwide location on FLW under the BCBS Alliance Network website and saw they have multiple optometrists that are contracted w/ my plan. I called to schedule an appt. and repeatedly asked if they were contracted w/ my plan. I was told multiple times they were. Both of my office visits were denied out of network. When I called and s/w the office manager, I was informed they were bought out by another company and send all of their patient information to a 3rd party who informs them if it is ok to see a patient. Tori did mention if they are made aware they are OON w/ a patients plan, they would call the patient BEFORE the appt. to let them know. I called the billing company and was told they werent aware they were OON w/ my plan for the Dr. THEY scheduled me w/!!! They approved my office visits w/ an incorrect optometrist without even knowing if they were contracted w/ my particular plan. This tells me they made no phone calls to BCBS to verify my eligibility/benefits. The young lady said I would be responsible for the full amount of both bills despite all of this!!! She said it was my responsibility to make sure I was scheduled w/ the right Dr. Lesson learned In addition, I was promised a return phone call the same day by the rep I was speaking with. I received no such call. When I called again the next day, she sounded surprised she told me should would call me back and said she must have misplaced the information.

Very bad service. Too many workers just talking. I waited over 1 hour to see the doctor while he talked about real state with an employee. I informed the young boy that I was running the initial machine test that I needed to wash my hands before removing my contacts he gave me a hand sanitizer, which made my eyes sting for a a short time. I told two employees know that I was there for glasses and not for lenses, but seem no one was paying too much attention. So, the doctor run all the necessary tests and insisted in giving me a trial of contacts. When the doctor walked me to the front desk that is when he realized that I was there only for glasses prescription. This office also charged me a high co-pay stating that my insurance was a discount plan. My insurance asked me to call this location and ask for a refund of my co-pay. I will never refer anyone to Nationwide Vision based on my first experience with them. Bad communication all around.

There were 3 workers and no other customers and me and my girlfriend go in to get her glasses adjusted after the nationwide at desert Ridge messed them up the day prior. After asking the male worker immediately gave her the biggest eye roll Ive ever seen in my live and the woman standing behind the two at the desk starred me down with the meanest glare Ive ever seen. Thats 2 for 2 of nationwides that we have been to that treat people like trash.

Had an appointment at 5pm for an eye test. Got there at 5:07 and waited around for 10 minutes while they seeing to other Customer. Then was told I was too late and they would have to re-schedule. My wife also in the same week was given a great deal of run around and hassle. DO NOT GO HERE, Expensive and very poor customer service. Go my new Glasses at Costco, no hassle and half the price.

01/27/13 - Nationwide vision has always helped me with my eyewear purchases and fixes. They have responded to my needs with excellent service and have even remembered me and what I purchased well after I had been there last. I wanna give special thanks to Tom who helped me with my sport glasses purchase and helping fix my Maui Jims. I highly recommend this location for your eyeglass needs.

This location is in a great place although the eye doctor and one of the front desk ladies are some of the rudest people I have ever had to deal with. They need to practice on there customer service. My daughter and I felt like we where beneath them and thats a horrible feeling and very uncalled for.

Be here at 3:25 for 3:30 appointment. They let me wait over 40 minutes without saying a word. Alot of people working here but no one help full and only one doctor. They just standing around and talk. Decided go to costco after 45 minutes of waiting.
