Ive been suffering from severe headaches for years. I started getting numbness in my arms and face as well and decided that I needed to do more than just take pills. Ive seen my primary care doctor in the past for these headaches and we were never able to make them happen less often, just came up with a cocktail of pills that would stop the pain. My wife kept telling me to get a massage as well as get a check-up with a chiropractor as my shoulders are always tense. I made an appointment with Dr. Bates and am glad I did. After two appointments Ive been headache free for a whole week. Doesnt sound like a long time but its been months since my head hasnt hurt. I never knew that my neck being sore could cause my head to hurt like it did. Hes come up with a short term plan to help figure out exactly whats causing my pain and then he says hell get me doing stuff on my own (stretches and movements) to keep the pain away. Dr. Bates has listened to everything Ive said and continues to ask questions to improve my treatment.

Ive suffered from chronic neck pain for 7 years and have seen several specialists, other chiropractors, physical therapists, tried epidural injections, nerve blocks, cortizone injections, you name it, Ive tried it. I went to Dr. Bates from a referral. I wasnt expecting much but was shocked to see that only after a few treatments I was noticing a significant difference w my range of motion in my neck and a decrease in the amount of headaches I get. Ive been able to decrease my pain meds to half of what Ive been taking for the last several years, he is a miracle worker! Im so happy and pleased w what he has been able to do for me. Not to mention he and his staff are super nice, he truly cares about his patients. Highly highly recommend you give him a try.

I missed my appointment yesterday because I was in my family practitioners office. I have both a urinary tract infection and a sinus infection and have been bed ridden since my visit yesterday. I just got a call from the front office and theyve told me that because I missed this appointment, theyre charging me a no show fee. The lack of compassion for a patient is unreal! Ive never missed appointments before. If youre looking for a chiropractor who cares about their patients, look elsewhere. Ive also noticed that there is a lot of staff turnover, which has been a concern of mine for a few months now.

Dr.Bates has helped not only me, but my children and husband as well... what started off several years ago when we were first treated by Dr. Bates for a car accident, has turned into ongoing, continuing care. Dr. Bates is extremely knowledgable in sports medicine and has helped me recover from several injuries. He also listens, and really shows deep concern for any-all issues. He has also helped me with chronic migraine headaches and now I see him on an as needed basis. He has shown me some great stretches to implement at home as well. Thanks Dr. Bates for being so amazing!

As a former college football player and a current Triathlete, Dr. Bates has played in instrumental role in my continuing competitive lifestyle. I had struggled for years with back pain (which occasionally included a numb foot) as a result of poor training techniques in college. As a result of the treatment I was given at Better Chiropractic I am back on my feet (I can feel both of them now) and competing in several different sports. As a competitor I did not want to give up my ability to compete and thanks to Dr. Bates I dont have to!

I would recommend Better Chiropractic to anyone suffering from back pain. I have a congenital fusion in two vertebrae in my neck that has been problematic all of my life. Since I have been going to see Dr. Bates at Better Chiropractic, I have gotten consistent relief from my back pain. The use of heat, electrical muscle stimulation, and massage in addition to spinal manipulation improves the effectiveness of the treatment tremendously. He recommended exercises and supplements that help to prevent my symptoms from reoccurring.

I would highly recommend Better Chiropractic and Dr. Bates to anyone having back pain. I went in after having years of pain, and on my second wave of 8+ weeks of physical therapy treatment that was just not helping. After years of having the pain, I believe he nailed it on the cause of the back pain and is continually treating it as well as helping me treat it myself at home. Ive never been to a chiropractor before, and he was very helpful in the stress or nerves I had in my first appointment.

Dr. Bates is a true professional. I had been experiencing a horrible headache for over 3 weeks when I approached Dr. Bates. My physician put me on several medications that only temporarily releaved the pain however Dr. Bates figured out the problem immediately and started to work on the problem. Within just a few hours I could feel my headache going away and within a just a few short days my headache was gone. I would recommend Dr. Bates to anyone who is suffering from pain.

Dr. Bates has been a great help to me since I began seeing him. I was skeptical of what a chiropractor could really do to help my condition, but he took the time to explain the root cause of my pain and walk me through a program to get me mostly pain free in a very short time. I am on a plan to continue exercises and stretches that will help me maintain without being dependent upon frequent visits. I appreciate his honesty and authenticity through the process.

Ive been seeing Dr. Bates for a few months and he has been great. I had a reservations about going to the Chiropractor for the first time and wasnt sure he would be able to help resolve my issue. Due to my bad lower back, Ive been seeing him 2-3x per week. The office is great about getting you in same day or next when you really need a quick appointment. Dr. Bates is very knowledgeable and seems invested in helping to ensure you get back your quality of life.

I have gone to Better Chiropractic and seen Dr. Bates in the past. Was close to work so super convenient. However, had a job change so he is out of the way for me. He provided great service while under his care. Also liked the fact they offer massage services. Great combo. He also uses other modalities that he incorporates which is another plus. Hours of operation are good too.

Dr. Bates did a comprehensive evaluation and applied treatments that met my needs. He gave me the available options and incorporated my opinion in his treatment. Within a few visits, I was feeling 100% better. Great guy and great doctor. Also, his staff is efficient and effective. Periodically, they check in with me to see how I am feeling.
