I am so glad I found them. I dont have to worry any more about being overcharged for procedures or pressured into gum cleanings that drain my insurance down to nothing before any substantial work. Dr. Ewell performed my initial exam and was quick to prioritize the biggest problems and take care of what needed done the most before tackling other areas. Dr. Wood performed a painless root canal and you can tell he takes pride in his work and strives to make the patient as comfortable as possible. He had to stop early and finish another day but made sure he finished the job enough that there would be as little pain as possible for me the next day. You can tell they both care about their patients and their oral health and if youre looking for a dentist in the area I highly recommend them.

I have been visiting Dr. Woods for about 25 years and wouldnt use another dentist. He and his staff are delightful. The atmosphere in the office is highly professional and efficient but also relaxed and welcoming. This visit I had three replacement fillings. His numbing technique is amazing. I felt not an iota of pain throughout and was done within the hour. This morning I expected residual pain but there was nothing. He is an amazing dentist. We have recommended him to so many people who have also been visiting him for years. My husband found him when we both were new transplants to Arizona 25+ years ago. He was fabulous then and he is fabulous now.

What a wonderful experience! For the first time in my life I was nervous to go to the dentist - I had the same amazing family dentist all my life before moving to the area and never understood why people were so afraid to go to the dentist. So upon having to switch dentists, naturally I was nervous I would have the same awful experiences I had heard of. But Dr Wood and his staff were wonderful! Extremely friendly, treated me as if I had been a patient with them all my life, and took great care and detail. The staff seemed like family themselves. I highly recommend Dr Wood and his entire staff after my first experience with them.

My family and I have been going to Dr. Wood for the last 20 plus years. He and his staff are amazing and truly care for and about their patients. My college age son had a bike accident Sunday night and knocked out his front teeth. Dr. Wood called him in first thing Monday morning even though his schedule was full and assessed what work he needed done right away, got him stabilized, and future appointments set up to do the final work to give him back his smile. My husband and I are truly grateful for all that Dr. Wood and his staff did for our son yesterday…Luke is extremely thankful too! You all are awesome!

Excellent dentist! I was pretty bad at keeping up with my teeth, but a few visits to Dr. Wood and my oral health is on the mend after a root cleaning. Dr. Wood and this entire staff are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and really make you feel comfortable about the work. They also have email reminders for appointments rather than the traditional call, definitely ideal for me. I can also confirm my upcoming appointment over email as well. Ive never had to wait more than a few minutes when I arrived for an appointment. The office is also extremely easy to get to, right off the 101.

I saw Dr. Ewell recently and I had a wonderful experience. The last dentist I saw created a very painful problem by drilling to close to my nerve, so I was really scared about choosing a new dentist. I chose this office from the excellent online reviews, and my time with her certainly lived up to all expectations. She explained everything, gave me great advise, and was friendly as well. I am so happy I finally found a great dentist! The receptionist was also very helpful, and Diane, the hygienist, did a very thorough job on cleaning my teeth. Excellent office all around!

Im really not one to write reviews, but I know what a frightening task going to and oral surgeon can be. I recently had a root canal performed at this office. The procedure was quick and the team of experts had excellent bedside manner. Later in the day I was still experiencing a high level of pain. Anne at the front desk was able to schedule me between patients for an extra shot of novacaine. This establishment exercises some of the highest levels of customer service in the business. Thanks again for all of your hard work!

My wife and I have had Dr. John Wood and his staff provide our dental care for over 18 years. The reasons we use Dr Wood are simple: 1. He and his staff are highly professional. He utilizes the newest techniques and his office is equipped with the latest dental tools and equipment. 2. He is patient, listens to your needs and concerns, and provides the best treatment we have found anywhere. 3. His fees are reasonable. 4. We have never, ever had a bad experience with Dr. Wood. The year was 1988 and I had terrible tooth pain on Christmas Eve. Dr. Wood came in on Christmas Day to see me. Since then he has taken the best care of me, my family and friends. My sister in law drives from Chandler because he is so good. Kathy, has always cleaned my teeth and after eight years overseas she and Dr Wood brought my teeth and gums back to excellent health. The staff are professional, caring and always friendly. I enjoy my semi annual dental check ups and trust Dr Wood, he is the best.

My mom and I both go to Dr. Woods office and we love it! The staff is super friendly and very helpful when it comes to billing and appointments. Dr. Wood is extremely easy to get along with and does a great job. Im always worried about trying new dentists because my teeth are sensitive, but him and his assistants were super nice and gentle going about my dental work which was very much so appreciated! I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Woods has been my wife and Is Dentist for years. He and his Staff have been the Greatest. He has done a few Root Canals for my wife and I and we had no problems at all. Today I had a gold crown cemented in place by Dr. John Wood. It was a delightful and very informative experience ( Dr. Wood speaks well on many subjects while he works). Having been in the dental business for over 40 years, I would say that this office is a very well managed, pleasantly staffed and comfotable place to have dentisry performed by a most competent dentist! Dr. Wood is the most thorough dentist I have ever been too. He gave me a treatment plan and explained what should be done and what could wait. I was not pushed to do any of the work. He cares about each patient and takes his time with you. He is a perfectionist and he never rushes through his work. His hygenists are very good as well as all of his staff. I actually look forward to my cleanings every 6 months!
