Physiotherapy Associates has treated my mother, a patient, very well. However, in a business that often relies on multiple people to get the patient to their destination, they do not seem to offer anything of value to the patients families. For example, my mother is in physical therapy because she was in a car accident, so she is completely unable to drive still. I am a senior at ASU taking her to appointments 3 days per week in the hopes that she can fully recover. This 3 day per week commitment has been taxing on me because this business does not offer wifi to all of the people who have to sit and wait for their loved ones... I am completely unable to complete my assignments as a dedicated college student who is trying to graduate. Come on people... If every other business can offer wifi, you can too. Especially because we are the ones helping your patients around the clock.

Due to my high insurance deductible I was told that I would have to pay the full balance up front ($80 for the first session $60 for the subsequent sessions). After finishing my treatment I was sent another bill that had a bunch of charges for treatments I did not receive. When I called to dispute the bill I was told that the amount paid up front was actually a "good faith payment" and that the amount per session cannot be predicted up front (which directly contradicted what the front desk told me). Now I understand why they tried to schedule me for as many appointments as possible. Unless your are 100% positive that your insurance is going to cover the cost of your treatment go elsewhere or prepare yourself for unexpected bills.

I was diagnosed with c5/c6 neck disc hernia. Went in - no insurance- waited 30 minutes- paid $90 cash....got a middle age lady who just TALKED about what we will be doing- didnt teach any techniques and each of my questions had 2-3 answers- in other words-- the party answering is Bull S...ing and is brainstorming rather than giving concrete answers

Be careful going here, It can take up to a year to get your overpayments back from corporate. They are quick and demanding on taking your money up front but drag their feet to give it back. Ill never visit another physiotherapy again.
