For those that say this place is awesome...They must have paid to have the good drugs. There is nothing good about this place. Went in for an extraction. I have bad teeth. I know this. I have an infection in my back bottom molar. I wanted it pulled. Very simple. They come in and try to tell me they will not just pull one. I need multiple. I tell the lady, no... I just need one pulled. She proceeds to tell me that she doesnt know how much to charge because she pulled the information from an automated system. I show her my documentation straight from the insurance broker. She says she can charge me her price. I ask if I can be refunded after they figure out that theyve over charged me. Nope. The overage will be posted on my account. Ok... So you want to steal from me? Not gonna happen. She kept refusing to even give me a price for one extraction. I finally ripped off the bib and walked out. What a worthless bunch of people. Theyre not in it for anything but the money. And the dentist? Well...Hes a piece of ish. Looked at my mouth and x-rays for all of about 2 minutes. If that! As he walked out he said "shell be in to talk to you". I asked "what about this extraction". His reply... "Yah...shell come in to talk to you". He had no intention on doing a simple extraction. This man needs to be reported for malpractice.

I went to this dentist because my insurance assigned me to this office even though I read all the bad reviews I decided to give it a chance since I dont know any good dentist in the United States! Anyway I went in July of 2011 for my first visit it took them over an hour to see me and I know this because I watched a whole movie in the waiting room. The only reason they finally saw me was because I aksed how much longer it was going to be and if I had to fill out any papers. The girl didnt even know what to say because she was too busy talking to her friends. After waiting for two hours I went in for x-rays and it was painful I never had x-rays that hurt I dont think they lady knew what she was doing. finally the doctor saw me for 10 mins and had some guy come in the room to tell me how much everything was going to cost he reminded me of a car sales man. Since I work for a dental lab I know my materials. I aksed him to quote me on a porcelain to high noble crown he did then later he tried to say they didnt offer it he wanted me to buy a Lava crown that costs over $800 this guy didnt like that I knew my stuff. As soon as I walked out of that office I never went back. I rather lose all my teeth than go here again!!

Choice Dental has some of the friendliest staff Ive ever met. Yesenia, Emily, and the other girls whose names I always forget are EXTREMELY nice, very professional, amazing human beings. Every time my daughter and I come to our appointments they know who we are, call us by name and treat us very, very nice. The dental assistant whose names I forget love my daughter and treat her like their own niece, daughter they are all awesome! I wish I knew everyone of their names to put it on here. Dr. Tartakow is awesome as well, fast and always takes the time to explain things. He always jokes with my daughter and makes her laugh. She really enjoys coming to the office even though shes scared of dentist, but he always makes if fun! This group of staff at the HAWTHORNE facility is an amazing and awesome group and I love coming to see them and talking to them. Always accommodate our appointments to our schedules. The hospitality is #1 and it personally makes me feel like Im with friends. Thank You for all their hard work, dedication & AMAZING SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY but most important to my daughter and I. In July of 2014 I had an implant,a deep cleaning, and a cavity filled. The total was somewhere around $4400 dollars I had insurance and at that time they claimed that my insurance covered very little, I took their word. Well Jan 2015 I went in for a REGULAR cleaning with NEW INSURANCE. They wanted me to pay $272 out of pocket and tried to sell me on some cosmetic work that I had already declined before. I had to get to work earlier that day so I rescheduled for the next day and that gave me time to think about it. I called up Nu Image in Inglewood, same insurance, next day, regular cleaning. They charged me $0. hmm…. whats wrong with this picture ? Well I now cant help but think that I was overcharged for the work I had done back in July. I thought the staff at Choice was great everyone was nice and professional BUT, their pricing is OUTRAGEOUS ! Looks like this facility will not be my CHOICE from now on.

I wouldnt even give this place a star if i could, first of all the staff is not friendly, they are HORRIBLE!! I had two children go in first of all it took 3 months to get an appointment, then when I went in, the office manager was pressuring me to pay out of my pocket about 300 dollars for my 4 year old that has all baby teeth. since i didnt want to pay out of my pocket she got really upset and wouldnt even discuss my sons work (who has permanet teeth)they wouldnt even do the basic on my kids( fillings for their cavaties and a cleaning) because I wouldnt pay for the extras out of my pocket. Then when I did go to schedule an appt. they want to book it for another 4 months, I dont know if they were mad or what but it was rediculous.. I changed my insurance, took my kids to magic land dental and i was not over charge i only paid 69 dollars for the same treatments, I even got a discount for having two kids.

I have so much to say about West Coast Dental, including that I am so thankful to have found the best dentist in the area. First of all, the staff here is just great. I am always treated with respect, and each staff member is always extremely courteous to me, my wife, and our children. And we love our dentist! She is truly a kind, passionate, and hard-working dentist. You can tell that she takes her job very seriously, and never adds on procedures just to make extra money. Another great thing about this place is the cost! Their prices are low, but they also accept insurance and offer various payment plans. We got their dental discount plan, which is just perfect for our family.

I got my wisdom teeth removed here and aside from charging a ton of money to remove my wisdom teeth, I now have TMJ as a result of the removal. From the week of the removal until now, months later, my jaw pops anytime I try to open my mouth. I visited another dentist as this is not my regular dentist, and I was told that this jaw popping will probably stay with me for the rest of my life and was a result of pulling too hard to remove the teeth. It is more than mildly infuriating and I dont think I can afford treatment. Thanks. I really appreciate it, Choice Dental. Edit: My sister got her braces here and her teeth didnt even straighten that well after a few years with them.
