I have been seeing Chiropractors since I was 10 years old. My mom took me when I was a child because I used to have headaches. When I was 19 I moved to Lake Tahoe where I had a life transformation and learned about wellness. I started seeing a Chiropractor, not because I had back pain or headaches anymore, but because a friend told me it could strengthen my immune system, keep me healthy and PREVENT getting back aches or headaches! I thought this was awesome! I was going to a place called "Safe Haven" which was unlike any Chiro office I had ever been to. When I moved back to So Cal form the mountain I was in medical marketing and worked with many Chiropractors. I had not found one that even compared to "Safe Haven" until I met Dr. Shakib and Dr. Cocks. Their office blew me away and I felt that I finally found someone that really understood what chiropractic meant to me and how to keep me well! She was the first doctor Id come across in OC that didnt think I was crazy for wanting to maintain my health and live to my potential. She helped me to address not only my spine, but my nutritional and emotional health to keep balance in my life! I also do not have health insurance and she more than worked with me on a reasonable cash price and payment plans. I am happy to say I still see Dr. Shakib after almost 2 years and have never been healthier. I would recommend this doctor and friendly environment to anyone!!!!

Before I found Dr. Shakib I was in so much pain and I did not know how to help myself. I could not find the support I really needed after going to several doctors even an orthopedic surgeon, I received several different diagnoses from Fibromyalgia to Diabetes. I was becoming so frustrated and still in so much pain. I even went to Urgent Care a few times for leg and back pain and came home with back braces, crutches and more prescription then I have ever had in my life… My friends and family gave me lots of sympathy for my pain but they could not help with the pain in my back and legs. It was only when I met Dr. Shakib that I finally got the pain relief I was desperately seeking. She reviewed my x-rays and listened to me very intently and spent so much time with me I really felt like she saw and understood exactly what was going on with my body. Dr. Shakib gave me a whole run down on my specific issues in my back and what she could do for me and also what I needed to do to support myself. By the way she did not sugar coat it either and I really respect her for that. You will not find a better Chiropractor then Dr. Shakib, her passion and integrity for her patients shines through the first time you meet her. I look forward to my weekly visit with her, she is not only a doctor she is a teacher and such a pleasant lady. And by the way! I am free from pain.

awful awful awful! they lure you in with carefully placed words such as, we care for your wellness, your insurance companies dont care about you, and than sign your soul away to a 3 grand procedure. Bussiness is their M.O, it felt like i was being sold a used car. go at your own risk, but if you are bold enough to give it a try, read all the fine print before signing anything, you cant back out or get a refund of your set in stone plan they make you sign on day one, without losing some serious dough, they signed us up for a year of work, and told us if we prepay it we get a discount, so we put the 3k on our card, after going home we decieded it was not for us and called to cancel only to find the first day there is now gonna cost us 600 dollars and wed only get 2300 back to our card...
