This is what happened after I declined their up-sell offer.. On 09/29/15, I had an 4pm that I committed to, but on that day I had a fever. I still managed to show up, after they did the exam, Dr. Amy suggested to do a deep clean instead a regular one as I scheduled. I declined very politely, told her I am not feeling well. She brought in someone and showed me the cost against my will anyway, I declined again. I just wanted it to be over with. Dr. Amy made a comment :"Please sign here, to acknowledge you declined our professional suggestion, in case you come back sue us, who knows?!" I was like "whaaaaaat", but didnt say a word. The hygienist Summer was there the entire time, she started to perform the regular clean. She was rough, thats all I think at first, then when theres too much water in my mouth, I signaled I needed to spit the water, she made this comment:"You dont need to spit it, you can just swallow the water. Those are what you swallow everyday, if you concern about your oral health, you should take care of it and get a deep clean" I was pissed, but again, cant really talk! Who gave her the right to lecture me? If I dont care about my oral health, why I was there? Then, things got worse! When she say "open and close" she started to yell! Finally, I couldnt stand it anymore, I raised my hand and mumbled "do not yell at me!" She fired back without any hesitation:"well, I cant do my job if you dont open probably." From that point, she used the tool to pull my mouth open so hard that actually hurt! I called the office the next day, spoke with a guy who said he was the office manager-Dave, thats what he told me his name was. He listened, and apologized, then started to defend for Summer, said "I am shocked to hear this! I know Summer, she has been with us almost since the beginning, this is the first time I received a complaint about her". So I asked him" are you saying I made it up?" he went, "no, no, but its just hard to believe." "Well Summer is not here today, but will be here tomorrow, I will talk to her and get back to you" I thanked him, and now almost a month later, never heard anything back! Think about it, per Daves logic, WE, the patients are strangers to him comparing to their employees, so WE are not trustworthy. There is one way to win this argument is - NEVER go back to that office again!

DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTAL PRACTICE. I went for a six month clean and they refused to do my clean because last time I had declined their unnecessary gum deep clean. They gum probe is painful and unnecessary and used to generate money. To refuse a standard clean on the basis that I dont want a gum deep clean is ridiculous. Their defense was that they would not be providing the best care. Their analogy was that it would be like getting the inside of your car cleaned and not the outside. If it is my car, I should be able to say what I get done. They referred to policies which they were not able to provide as they were not written down. I am lodging a complaint with the Cslifornia Dental Board. I have cavity free teeth and no gum issues. Like I said, they make up problems to generate cash. Discusting service and morals.

Their office manger has such an attitude, but, its a new dentist Im trying out, so Ill see but for now they one star. When I made an appointment with them for the first time I told them I needed to come in for a cleaning, but then one day before my appointment the office manger called me to tell me that she cant guarantee to have my teeth cleaned tomorrow and I reminded my purpose of coming in by saying, "I made an appointment to have my teeth cleaning." and she said, "No, you are not. You are coming in for an initial exam." Its nice someone you dont even know is telling you your purpose of why you are going to the dentist.

**********DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTAL OFFICE********** I scheduled an annual cleaning that was to be covered by my insurance provider. When I entered the dental office, I was told it was going to cost $124 so I asked why since my insurance should be covering 100% of the cleaning. I was told that they were going to do a rinse and deep cleaning that that wasnt considered preventive maintenance, even though I was never asked if I wanted this service. I then said that I just wanted what my insurance covered, nothing more. Very shady operation! Id recommend going somewhere else.

i PICKED DR SMITH AS MY DOCTOR AND THEN IM FORCED TO SEE OTHER DR.S THEN I WAS TOLD I MY ROOT CANAL AND CROWN WERE COVERED BY INSURANCE BUT THE ROOT CANAL AND THE TOOTH EXTRACTION WAS TO BE DONE BY SPECIALIST THAT WORK WITH THEM AND COVERED UNDER MY DENTAL CREDIT CARE I APPLIED FOR NOW IT ALL A DIFFERENT STORY. IM AM FURIOUS!
