My experience began amazingly. Great work done after an accident. Great dentist and aides. The issues began after It was demanded I pay large dividends per every visit. Once again, thats fine, it was just the manner with which they demanded it that came off a little discomforting. I paid in 500$ increments and each time they made sure I never forgot what I owed. Fair enough. Several months later after I assumed we were squared. I even had a cleaning planned. I start getting threatening calls every morning from collections agencies. Stating I owed 2,500$ dollars and if I did not pay they would come take my car or home or whatever other intimidation nonsense they say to scare you. Now the office says they sent me one prior notice via mail that I never received. Similarly to the payments that dissipated. Instead of a voicemail reminder they took me straight to collections. My amazing mom called and she is so genuinely kind. She was quite literally yelled at and called a liar. So we pulled up records of at least 3 separate payments. (my appointments were done far apart. Sorting through account records takes a little time and i was tired of being harassed.) Instead of humility and an apology they simply altered the amount owed to a difference of the evidence and the total. Still with no proof of any payments. They claimed they found the payments and sent in email with them. Yet the email had no attachments or evidence and now Im hearing from collectors as well as second rate lawyers for just a little bit less money. They have stopped responding to emails or calls over a now 500$ dividend that they lost. Is it a huge sum? Not the end of the world. Will I give them another dime? absolutely not. The same money hungry, rude clerks couldnt even keep track of my payments. This has been a horrible and completely unprofessional experience that up until this point has been handles as calm and kindly as possible with no reciprocation. Please look elsewhere. A small hit to my great credit would be worth saving you the possible nightmare.

I went to laverne dental group about 4 years ago, I was trying to make a amends with my dental problems and wanted to get my front tooth fixed as it had a decayed spot on it, I did get the decayed spot fixed ok, but on follow up visits I was sent in for treatment of periodontal problems, They checked my teeth and and decided they wanted to remove 4 additional teeth that were not really giving me problems yet was told I had too much bone loss. I went ahead and had them removed. In the chair while having these removed I was treated with anesthesia ok. But looking back on the matter. They really had to work to remove my teeth. I remember the dentist having a difficult time removing the tooth that really caused me no pain at all, she tugged and tugged and tugged to get it out. she finally got my tooth out and lost her balance from pulling so hard and fell back against the wall. When I returned to this place to complete more procedures, the doctor was gone. She no longer worked their and although I was working with the other doctor and had a solid treatment program. The new dentist some black lady with 4 carat diamond ring tells me that I should save my money for full dental denture implant for all four quadrants of my mouth at about 25000 dollars per quadrant. Well geez im just a working person, hmm that should be easy to come up with. Even my insurance company would not come up with some of their charges because they wanted to stay plate not a denture and I had to pay 400 dollars out of pocket for such a temporary fix on top of what they bilked out of my insurance company. Anyways tell me if you see that huge diamond wearing goldigger

LaVerne Dental Group is a fabulous dental office. All of their equipment is up to the latest technological standards. They always show you your options and you pick the one that works for you. All the staff are very friendly and they care about your health. Dr. Assatourians is the BEST dentist I ever had. He will make sure you are comfortable and happy while you are there and after you leave. It is quite obvious that dentistry is not just a job for him - its his passion. Go see him and you will brag about him too ) The nurses are awesome. I think I know all of them by now and they really care about your well-being. If they think you are cold they will get a blanket and if they think you are in pain they will let the doctor know. The same is true for their hygienist Shannon Steele. She is really good. Im not usually a big fan of going to the hygienist and Im not worried to go see her. She is super gentle and really nice. So, have some faith and make an appointment - you wont be disappointed.

From outside they seem like a state of the art facility. But their practice is totally about how they can make more money. For example, instead of the regular 6 months cleaning that is free from the insurance, they will do what they call a deep cleaning for free for the first time. Then the catch comes. From the next visit onward they will say, since you already got a deep cleaning, now they have to do a peridontic maintenance which will cost XX amount even after your insurance. They would force that upon you even if you want just a regular 6 months cleaning. Even though we take the kids there regularly, they waited on a cavity on my daughter and then after a year all on a sudden said they must do a root canal. Being frustrated I changed doctor and took my daughter to a different one and all he did was clean the place and put filling and the tooth is just fine. My advice is, there are plenty of other dentist places around, do your research first before selecting the right one for you.

This Dental Group is the BEST Dental Group I have ever gone to. The Doctors are well educated and love what they do. Since last year they have done a full sweep and replaced all the doctors (same specialists) and remodeled the place. I love the new feel of the place and felt 100% confidant in everything they did. I had 3 bridges done, two root canals, a deep cleaning, and my wisdom teeth pulled. Yes, I was long overdue on a lot of stuff. So I have experience with them in a lot of areas and they did a fantastic job. My doctor spoke to me, explaining each procedure, and giving me the best option, the okay option or the worst option so I could decide what would be best for my pocket book. So ignore the other ratings.. My whole family and all my friends go to this dentist and none of us have ever had an issue. PS. The insurance claims and their prices ALWAYS match up.. They have always been honest!

I have NEVER EVER had any problems with my teeth. All my dental experiences since I was a child had been pleasant until I went there!!! I went in as a new customer for a routine check-up and left with all these procedures (according to them) that NEEDED to be done. NOW I AM IN CONSTANT PAIN, I have gone back to fix the problem four different times and still...PAIN!!! Fillings are now falling out...not a day goes by that I dont wish I had never gone to that horrible place. My teeth have NEVER been the same....it has caused me soooo much stress, guilt (why did I go there, why did I let them take advantage of me like that?), pain and money. Please. Please, head my warning STAY AWAY!!!
