This review is long overdue...Ive been coming to this dentist since I was a teenager and now I am a full-time working girl! (TL;DR on the bottom) My whole family uses Arbor Dental Group and Ive recommend them to my fiances family as well. So far, theyve absolutely loved their experience as well (no surprise there!) The staff at the front desk always greet me personally and with a friendly smile upon my arrival, which sets me in a great mood. I usually show up about 10 minutes early for my appointment and 99% of the time they bring me back right on time for my appointment, which I really appreciate! Timeliness if key for me. I also love the cleanliness and modernness of the office. Since a teenager, Ive always requested Susie as my dental hygienist. I love updating her with whats going on in my life and you can tell she is genuinely listening rather than just asking questions just to ask. When I return 6 months later, it feels like a very short amount of time has passed since I last saw her because our conversations pick up right where they left off! The regular check-up for me is about 45 minutes to an hour depending on if I need X-Rays and includes deep cleaning, flossing, polishing and flouride treatment by the hygienist. I usually bring my own earplugs so I can close my eyes and listen to music from my phone during the procedures...but every chair comes with its own TV and remote. Sometimes Ill watch TV instead of listening to music. After that one of the dentists will come in to check for cavities and give overall feedback. Ive seen almost all the dentists there -- Dr Scott Watanabe, Dr. Kelly Pierson and Dr. Biagan and love the treatment by all of them. Each of them are very professional, knowledgable, and patient. Even through cavities and various teeth procedures, I can positively say they always do their best to ensure I am not in any pain or discomfort. Im pretty sensitive to pain, but they always do a good job making sure I feel comfortable speaking up if something is pinching or feels uncomfortable. When checking out, making an appointment has never been an issue. I have never had any issues dealing with insurance either. Now that I think about it, Ive actually been a customer here for over half of my life (aka 12+ years). I wouldnt want it to be any other way! :) Thanks for everything, Arbor Dental! TL;DR: I am an EXTREMELY pleased customer and would HIGHLY recommend Arbor Dental Group if you are looking for a new dentist in the Orange County area. ...Also, for you Pokemon Go players, two Poke Stops and a Gym nearby :) Reachable from your seat if youre lucky ;)

I have been seeing the Arbor Dental group for about 30 years now, and I highly recommend them for all your dental needs. The office itself is very convenient to the Orange County area, based in Irvine. I was a resident of the city and now I am about 30 minutes away and still highly willing to make the commute. Their initial space is very welcoming, and very clean. The receptionist desk is spotless & organized, and the staff with all smiles greets you in with open arms. They even go out of their way to get to know you on a personal level, so that every visit is a special one. They continuously advance their equipment to ensure you have the best care possible, and on top-of it have the most gentle steady hands that you need when getting work done. Every member of their staff is beyond professional, not only in the line of their work but in the way the atmosphere is set, leaving you feeling a sigh of relief knowing you are in good hands. Granted I have been with this practice for most of my life, it is also the reason why I would not want to have someone else taking care of my oral hygiene. I trust them, and I plan to be here for as long as they are. Who would of thought that even at five years of age I would still be carrying around this incredible smile and I have the Arbor Dental Group of Irvine to thank for it.

The Arbor Dental Group is similar to a mom and pop business in the medical field. They build it from heart and soul. They grow naturally by word of mouth. I came to this office from my neighbors recommendation 9 years ago. I also recommend them to my other neighbors as well. My hygienist is Phuong Ngo, best hygienist ever. Hes very good at what he does. He takes time to take care of your teeth. I have been to other hygienists before. They brush with toothpaste, rinse and youre done in 10-15 minutes. With this office and my hygienist, Phuong, he will go through your teeth one by one, clean and clean. I feel like he crafted my teeth. After hes done, I feel really clean and light on my teeth. I dare you to try him to really understand what Im talking about. You need to make appt. far ahead. He is always booked. My dentist is Dr. Kelly Pierson, she is an angel, very nice and caring. She has a soft hand. This is important to me because my teeth are very sensitive. When Dr. Pierson was on maternity leave or its her day off, I will see Dr. Scott Watanabe, very detail oriented. He went over my teeth and explained to me clearly what to expect. Hes low key, easy to talk to. I only met him a few time but he makes me feel like Im his neighbor. Very cool dentist! Thank you all for a wonderful experience.

I used to change dentists every year or two because quality of service would decline, level of treatment would be inconsistent, or the dentist was just plain rude. Given that the dentist is somewhere most people visit at least twice a year, it’s one of those things that people should be picky about. I was recommended to Arbor Dental almost 6 years ago and have yet to find a reason to search for a new dentist. Dr. Scott and team are all friendly, knowledgable, and just good at what they do. I’m the type of guy that likes to ask questions and know the reasoning behind everything they are doing to me, and the staff have always been patient and willing to answer anything I ask. Due to my schedule, I’m unable to always go with the same dentist and hygienist so I’ve worked with several of them in the office and each one has been just as pleasant to work with. They actually care about you as a person instead of treating you like just another generic patient. If you are within reasonable driving distance and are sick of having to find a new dentist every couple years, or dealing with un-personable dentists/hygienists, give this place a visit! Contrary to popular belief, dentist visits are not always unpleasant - you just have to find the right one.

The Arbor Dental Group is simply the best dental office! Drs. Scott and Ron Watanabe and their team of doctors and hygienists are truly excellent, highly competent, and extremely caring. The dentistry is very clean and all the front desk staff are highly efficient and super friendly. They really make you feel like family! After getting numerous very strong recommendations from my colleagues and their families in our university community, I have been coming to Arbor for many years and have been extremely happy for all the work that were done. Now even my sister would happily drive 60 miles to Arbor, after not being able to find a satisfactory dentistry in the metropolitan area where she lives for a long time. We are extremely grateful to Dr. Scott when my husband required some emergency procedures due to a broken tooth. Dr. Scott immediately took care of my husband (who was visiting me from Germany where he was still living at that time), despite the fact that he was not a patient at the dentistry and only had the German insurance at the time. All the work were done superbly, and Dr. Scott even followed up with him afterward! I am so blessed to have found Arbor as home for the dental health for me and my family!
