This place is only after money and is unethical and unprofessional. They are encouraging patients to self-detox from heroin and meth to join their out-patient program for their insurance money when the ethical thing to do would be to refer them to an in-patient detoxing facility. This clinic also states that they will not turn anyone away because of finances. They state that they will work with anyone to make it affordable. This is utterly false. Dr. Stepanoff, the head psychologist rushed me into joining and put me on state disability (SDI). While I wasnt working, my insurance ran out and instead of working with me financially or assisting me with obtaining new insure, as they claim on their website, I was told I could no longer continue with any of the treatment unless I paid out of pocket $172 to see a psychiatrist. They left me for a month and a half while I waited for Medi Cal completely untreated on dangerous medication with horrendous side-effects. I asked if he could assist me since I finally had insurance again and that my medication has worsened my condition. I missed the appointment because I was hospitalized due to my reaction to his medication. I emailed him about my SDI again since it was running out and it is my only income. This is his reply to me by email: I can only see you if you pay to see me. I cannot extend your disability because you missed an appointment with me a few weeks ago. I cannot nor will I ever extend a disability if I am not monitoring a patient I have on disability I am going to cut off the disability tomorrow. If you want to see me tomorrow it will cost you 150.00 Let me know asap If I dont hear from you by 12 tomorrow it will be cut off I am sorry but please understand the reasons Sent from my iPhone I found this reply to be a vindictive and hostile. I am pursuing this company for unethical treatment. Community Hospital in Long Beach agreed and adjusted my medication dramatically after I was hospitalized again for harmful medication.

Giving this horrible place 1 star is too good!!! You people suck!!! You jerked me around for 4 mos with my sons evaluations only for me to find out today that you arent taking new patients for ABA Therapy. You are all a bunch of liars. Stringing people along. Your customer service is horrid. You might want to consider training your staff correctly and not blow smoke up ones rear if you cannot help their child.

I took my teenage son here for medication management and counseling. We tried to make it work for months, but it was awful!

I love this place but they can get better with wait times for sure.
