I never leave bad reviews but this review is more of a BEWARE. I made an appointment on Wednesday to get seen for a tooth ache, i left work early and arrived 10 minutes prior to my appointment. I waited 3 hours to be seen, this wasnt an issue since i thought that i could be helped. I had Xrays done and a consultation with the Dentist informing me of the additional work that i would need to get done before solving the main issue. He prescribed me a rinse to use that i could only purchase there for $15. Disheartened by the news i agreed to buy the rinse. My care plan was understandable but they kept insisting that my insurance would not cover these services and it would be $4000 out of pocket. The girl who had discussed my payments options and insurance coverage was understanding and helpful and told me if i didnt have cash to pay fpr the rinse that i could pay for the rinse later since i had sent my husband and son to grab some dinner. Luckily (or so i thought)I had $20 cash and didnt know that i would even purchase anything and when i went to pay i saw a sign for patients to carry EXACT change. This is fine and understandable and i hadnt realized because such details like this arent noticed when you have throbbing pain and a possible $4000 bill. The girl at the front desk was helpful and asked her coworkers if they had change for 20 she even went as far as going next door to the buffalo wing place next door. As she put her unexpected effort in trying to get me change her other colleagues kept making comments and snide remarks. I heard one of them tell her "oh well tell her to walk to McDonalds there are signs everywhere". This woman continued to make comments with her coworkers and i didnt feel that i needed to be harassed just in earshot. I told them to keep the $5 since it was such an issue with her (the commenter)and that i was going to leave. I know she didnt feel bad but i wont stand around in pain getting bashed about change that is owed to me during an initial visit. Ive read several distasteful reviews about W.D and assumed that they may not be true but they are. I spoke with my new dentist about their practice and was informed that their bread and butter is to sell you on a crown and keep the production line at a certain quota. I dont know how they acheived a contract for Denti-Cal beneficiaries. The practice almost seems criminal along with the awful unhappy front desk staff. I wont be returning especially to this facility. If you have Denti Cal and by chance happen to be in limbo between your private insurance wait for the private insurance so you can have quality care. If you are a Denti Cal beneficiary print out the approved provider list, get a permanent marker and cross out western dental then make your choice. I wish that i hadnt wasted my time at this facility and i feel sorry for the people who dont have a choice.

Never, never never ever get work here done or go to orthodic here unless your time is not valuable. Ive been the most patient and often times too understanding when you are left waiting sometimes for hours to get something done. Ive had and by had I mean I just asked them to take my braces off and I cant stand the front office coordinator with her smug ass trying to lecture me when I came late one time and wouldnt let me be seen. Oh and did I mention. My next appointment wont be for another month. Thats the soonest. My last autopayment is going out this month and once I get my retainers on Im done. I have private insurance for dental I rather pay more for quality service and get in and out. I changed my kids to a completley different dentist and my daughter is not getting her braces here. I love her too much for her to wait and see her mother lose it. Western dental quit treating your patients like cattle and schedule them like a normal office, granted some people have Dentical your still getting paid. Im fortunate to have more options with my insurance. Bye felcia.

I got there at 10:20 my appointment was at 10:30. Two people arrived after me arround 11:00 at 11:30 both of those people when ahead of me. When I went to complain on why they were seen before my daughter they ladies inside had no reason and did not no why. My daughter had not slept the night before in pain from a tooth ache an I made her a appointment so i didnt have to go through this BS. I had my appointment I was here on time it was not fair for my 4 yr old daughter to sit there in pain because they decided to let two other people go ahead of her very unfair after a long hour wait of pain an stress. It just seems like every western dental has horrible customer service the people are not organized an they never seem to know what there doing or why things are happening. Very un professional. Horrible horrible horrible!!! Would not recommend nor willingly return un fortunately this is my insurance an all I can afford but its just ridiculous

Worst customer service. The clerk, admin assistant, and the dentist lack customer service at all. The clerk does not know Delta PMI dental insurance so I have to go home to get my old dental card. Told them Delta PMI is my dental insurance and still charge me $95 personally for teeth cleaning. I called my dental insurance to report that Western Dental Services charged me $95 for teeth cleaning. My dental insurance told me that Western Dental Services should not be charging me for teeth cleaning since my insurance policy cover those services. To top it off, Western Dental Services told my dental insurance that I dont exist on their Western Dental Services database....go figure. I just paid them $95 out of my pocket and told my dental insurance I dont exist on their database..

The wait is horrible why even make an appointment be ready to waste 5 hours of your day here even with an appointment i mean ...the office ladys are amazing but the wait is fustrating and a waist of time they schedule 3 people for the same time appointment for one doctor making every paitent fall behind ....i dont know why they do not schedule less appointment in one day or at least per hour there would be a lot more happy customers if i could i wouldent even give one star i seen so many paitents take there anger out on the front desk when im pretty sure they are doing what dentist ask them to overbook ....so far from what i seen is all paitents complaining about time and these ladys have to deal with all this

I had some work done and I am not happy with it. I had slight aches before I went there and now its sore and I have to take pain killer for it. Not much explanation and no report given to refer. Even they did filling for my wife who didnt had any pains and her tooth was just slightly bad. She has toothache now and taking medication for it. Not a good experience overall. If there is any risk should be told before any work is done. Also, they will suggest you treatment in which they make most money. They even what to charge me on what they have not done. I would not recommend this place for anyone.
