Dr. Chen and his office are better than I even hoped for! I am a new patient who recently came to Dr. Chen because of the Sedation Dentistry he offers. I usually avoid going to the dentist because I fear the pain and I dislike feeling judged by the condition of my teeth.(those are my top two reasons anyways) From the very beginning, communication was kind, gentle, and supportive. Shannon helped me set up initial appointments to minimize anxiety and even offered for me to stop by to tour the office. When I did come in for my first appointment, every single person I saw was friendly and welcoming. I learned more from my hygienist, Kitty, that day than I had learned my whole 30 something years of getting my teeth cleaned! Kitty was gentle, thorough, and non-judgemental. When I met with Dr. Chen, he was caring, patient, and genuine! I truly feel that he lives in the moment and wants what is best for me while I am in his care. He is extremely knowledgable and he does quality work. Since my cleaning, I had two  crowns done,  a relaxed and painfree experience. I am shocked! Katrina went out of her way to make sure that all my needs were taken care of. I also appreciated her checking in with Dr.Chen about a few things(previous experiences in other offices, staff are too afraid to bother the doctor.) Last, but certainly not least, I adore Lynn, she keeps the ship sailing no matter the weather or the waters! Lynn gives you the straight scoop on the insurance front and her knowledge is amazing. She is always there to talk things over with you, clarify confusion, and offer a warm hug! You just know she wants the best for you. To sum up, I feel that Dr.Chen and his staff have integrity, expertise, and compassion. I am hoping that I may actually like going to the dentist one of these days, but for now, I am putting my list of excuses for cancelling appointments into storage. :)

I always look forward to my dental appointments with Dr. Chen and his entire staff. Everyone in the office is available to assist with whatever issue pops up. Theyre always professional, compassionate, and care about every patient! Lynn responds to emails in a timely fashion with great care, Shannon always returns phone calls with cheerfulness, Kitty is fun and bubbly, and Debra is compassionate and gentle with elders! Each staff member have special qualities making them the best dental staff around! Dr. Chen stays ahead of the curve providing state of the art dental techniques and treatments; lying back in the dental chair is relaxing and feels like Im at the spa. Dr. Chens bedside manner is authentic and he genuinely cares about each patients situation, family, life! He always answers every question with knowledge and suggestions. Debra lets me get in a power nap as she massages my gums through flossing techniques! This office, staff, and Dr. Chen deserve a five star rating without question. Happy Valentines Day folks! After going for almost 10 years, Dr. Chens office remains the best for me. The lobby is warm and welcoming. The staff is nice, friendly, caring, and professional. Dr. Chens office utilizes the best and latest technologies, but at the same time promotes the fundamentals to ensure healthy teeth and gums, brush and flosh regularly. Each visit, they take the time to point out areas for improvement and provide techniques to support the improvements (i.e. brushing or flossing in difficult to reach spots). During my last visit, I experienced the most comfortable dental x-rays that Ive ever experienced. Instead of the bulky cartridges that usually cause me to gag, Dr. Chen has a new electronic technology that requires a much smaller cartridge to be inserted in the mouth. It was much more comfortable and faster to get through the serious of x-rays. I didnt gag once and never felt uncomfortable. I highly recommend going to Dr. Chens to have a great dental experience and a healthy smile.

So I must admit this was my first time going to the dentist in many years and I was extremely nervous. But as soon as I entered the office I was greeted by the warm smile of the receptionist and the calming atmosphere of the room. This began to ease my nerves and was the start of my amazing experience. I sadly cannot remember all of the names of the wonderful staff but the ones I do remember are Riley and Pat. Riley preformed my procedure with an excellent bedside manner. She worked quickly and efficiently but constantly made sure I was comfortable and offered to take breaks whenever I needed. The main standout was Pat. She had such a warm, welcoming, and lighthearted personality that instantly put my worries to ease. Her friendly manner in no way detracts from her professionalism or focus on her work. You can tell that all the employees here truly loves their jobs and cares about the patients. This is now my office of choice for any dental needs.

Dr. Chen is amazing. I recently completed a multi-year process that included gum sculpting, implants, braces, crowns, and veneers. Because of this I have had a lot of hands in my mouth over the past four years and his are top notch! Riley assisted him for the majority of my appointments. It is obvious that she loves her work and she is extremely talented. I also love getting my teeth cleaned by Kitty. She is super friendly and somehow always happy to see me. Finally, Dr. Chens manager, Lynn, is the driving force who made this all possible. She went to bat with my insurance company, maximized the use of my benefits, and always made sure that I understood where we were on the process and that I was comfortable with the progress. The entire team has earned my lifelong business. I dont make referrals very often, but for Esthetic Reflections I will be referring to them whenever and wherever possible.

Today was my first time in Dr. Chens office. As I walked in to Smiley faces, great scent of a candle, and the sound of a waterfall on the wall. The waiting room has tea, coffee, filter water and cookies :) I felt as if the T.V show "Cheers" had moved to this office as other patients walked through the door the staff was happy greet them with a hello ( in a Professional way) As if "Norm" walked in. As I was taken back to the my room. The staff was full of smiles and very friendly. Dr. Chen is a class act. He introduce himself with a handshake and a big smile. Dr. Chen is soft spoken and makes you feel like you have been his friend for years. Its all most a shame that Im on 6 month check up! Thank you Dr. Chen and Staff for the work you do! Mary H.

Recently moved to the area, and went here for the first time last year. The whole staff is very friendly, welcoming and nice. Dr. Chen helped me with a cavity that ended up needing an onlay. The coolest part of it was he showed me the onlay while he was making it. He answered all my questions and described why he was forming it a certain way. I went today for my routine cleaning and Debbie cleaned my teeth. She was very nice and even funny. She was very informative and described how I could take better care. There is a very nice environment here, I dont think anyone looks forward to go to any type of doctors office. I cant say I look forward to go to the dentist now... But its definitely not pulling teeth either :-)
