Ive been going to Rob for a number of years now. Originally I began seeing him to treat a back injury but after recovery have maintained consistent sessions for general well being. I really enjoy his demeanor and find our conversations to be very personable and friendly during my visits. What I appreciate most about Rob and how he practices is his focus on being thorough and consistent in my treatments regardless of my frequency of visit. He can quickly and effectively assess points of focus when I come in the door and I always leave feeling better. The location of his practice is convenient with lots of parking, he is always accommodating with schedule changes and the cost of each visit is money well spent.

I cannot emphasize enough the appreciation and respect I have for Robert. Definitely want to highlight what has been said below about his warm and nurturing nature. He is very respectful and caring and genuinely cares about his patients well-being. Robert has been integral in helping me to recover from my bicycle accident. His online appointment system makes it super easy and convenient to schedule appointments; he is available before and after work times and some Saturdays. Since Ive been seeing him, my neck and back have main significant improvements and my level of pain has dramatically decreased. Really glad to have connected with him and would highly recommend him.

I believe that the most important feature of any kind of therapy is the rapport between the practitioner and the client/patient. I like and appreciate Robert for his warmth and caring. I have seen him periodically for a few years and know that his sincerity is genuine. I was deeply touched when my daughter was in pain and because he was in the neighborhood, he dropped by to where we were to adjust her. I also like it that he has set hours I can just drop by, without setting an appointment. He also has special rates for students and artists.

Adjustments with Rob are great and lasting as other reviewers have mentioned. What really makes the difference for me is his easy going personality. He is physically and emotionally present with each client and never makes me feel as though he is worrying about the next client or thinking about booking that call coming in. Because of this I get the sense that he really enjoys what he does. Every time I visit his office I feel as though I am investing in quality of life with a practitioner who bounds with integrity.

I went in with so much pain feeling miserable and left revitalized with a positive outlook I had not had in weeks. It was probably the easiest medical related appointment I have ever had. I called at 10:15 AM to schedule an appointment for as-soon-as-possible, by 10:45 AM I was in his office, by 11:15 AM I left his office feeling like a new man. Dr. Townsend (Bob) was kind, funny, attentive, knowledgable and a total professional - the qualities you look for in any doctor. If you need a chiropractor go to him now!

Dr.Townsend is amazing. I had been having lower back pain on and off for the last year. In addition to right shoulder pain. He was able to educate me on at home exercises and being aware of correcting my posture. I have my second appointment with him this month and I am excited to go back for more treatment. Rob has proven to be an extremely effective chiropractor but also just as effective consultant. Ive never felt like he was trying to sell me on something that I didnt need. Most importantly though Rob has made himself available when I really needed him, after hours, before hours and on weekends, and thats been a huge help when I seriously needed an adjustment. I would highly recommend Rob.

I really like Dr Townsend and his office on Grand Ave. He is personable and friendly, as well as a very good Chiropractor. I especially love not having to make an appointment. I have never waited more than a few minutes to see him. His front desk person, Aspen, is also welcoming and lovely.

Robert is a very affordable gifted chiro. The new location is great, plenty of parking, right across from Safeway. My adjustments last, and Robert is fine with me coming every once in awhile. I highly recommend him if you have any kind of back problems.
