Ive taken my two Polish rabbits (Momo & Mochi) , my netherland dwarf rabbit Duncan, and my chinchilla Taro to see Dr. Hurlbut at this hospital. My rabbits came here often for annual check ups, and nail trims. My chinchilla was very ill one day so Dr. Hurlbut prescribed me the meds to get her well again. He called me to update me about Taros treatment and he even asked a friend of his who is also an exotics specialist for a second opinion on Taros treatment as well. Thank you Dr. Hurlbut for treating all my pets and being their doctor. Unfortunately, I can no longer take my pets to see Dr. Hurlbut since I moved across country. But for any future customers that have exotic pets, I would highly recommend you to see Dr. Hurlbut because hes honest and doesnt overcharge for any unnecessary exams and truly cares about your pet and their overall health.

This place is ABSOLUTELY a joke... These vets and techs DO NOT know what they are doing... I took my Ibizan Hound in to get him neuter and get his MINOR, the size of a small marble umbilical hernia corrected and the decided to cut a "V" shape incision in his stomach and only put TWO stitches in it one at the top and one at the bottom leaving a GAPING hole in the center... when I went in to get it fixed they didnt fix it blamed it on me letting my dog licking it and charged me for extra meds... Now my dog has a scar that is larger than the original hernia...A week later a friend of ours took his pup to get neutered and without informing him that they would need to cut three extra incisions they did it anyways and now the pup is in twice the pain.... These people are terrible and you truly get what you pay for CRAP!?!?!

I called with a parakeet who was not doing well. I had to wait a week and a half with my bird suffering before they would see her. The doctor said the bird was egg bound. He brought the bird into another room and I think he had tried to force the egg out because I could hear the bird sceaming through the wall. When he returned the bird had blood comming out of its cloaca but he said nothing about it. He told me to bring the bird back the following tuesday if the egg had not come out. Within 24 hours the bird was dead. This guy caused internal hemorrhaging that killed my bird and they still had the nerve to charge me $55.

This is by far the best Vet office I have ever taken a pet to (and Ive had enough to fill Noahs arc at this point). Im not sure where the bad reviews could possibly come from, but we have taken out pets there for almost 5 years. We live 2 hours away if that gives you any idea of how good they are. I have tried a few vets locally and always wind up coming here afterward for second opinions and better prices (hundreds of dollars difference sometimes!). They are more knowledgeable about working with rescued animals. I wish I could find a Dr for myself that is as good as these Vets .

They are amazing. Dr. Choi is the best and the staff is super caring and nice. I am the overly protective "mom" of two very spoiled cats and needed help right away for both of them. My old vet was not much help and did not solve the issue, so I took them to Pacifica Pet Hospital on the fly and out of desperation. Best decision ever ! I was warmly welcomed by the staff and Dr. Choi visited my babies, and took care of them right away. Needless to say now they are my family vet hospital.
