I have been going to St. Francis Veterinary with my two American Eskimos for many years. We started when Dr. Falcis was the full time vet at St. Francis and now that his daughter, CeCe, is starting to take over the practice we continue to go. We are always met with smiles by all the staff, several that are part of their immediate family. Towards the end of last year my 15 year old eskie became very ill and started to affect her quality of life. CeCe and I tried all we could to make her comfortable through meds but in the end we had to make a decision to put her to sleep. My entire family went with me to St. Francis where along with both Falcis vets, father and daughter, they helped us make her passing peaceful and quick. They were very supportive, comforting and patient with us. St. Francis is much more affordable then other vets and their Saturday clinics for shots is also by far the least expensive and easy since you do not have to make an appt. or stand in line at a pet store. I highly recommend this little veterinary hospital with a huge heart. I will continue to take my 5 year old eskie to see Dr. Falcis for the rest of his life.

I needed to bring my dogs in because they were developing "hot spots" which turned out to be due to allergic reactions to flea bites. The vet saw my dogs on short notice for a very reasonable amount of money and provided me with the necessary meds to get them over the flea problem and related allergic reactions. The vet and her staff were a dream to deal with and really related well to my dogs. This was especially important, because one of my dogs is a pitbull/German shepard mix, who (although NOT human aggressive) is very energetic and worried our former vet enough that we often had to muzzle her in order for the vet and staff to treat her. The female vet at St. Francis had fantastic rapport with both of my dogs, which made the visit very comfortable for both of my dogs and for me. She has become my vet of choice, and I will also be bringing in my cats when they need veterinarian services.

Several days ago I had to euthanize my old and a very sick cat that could not be cured. I knew it will be very traumatic experience to end my pet’s life, so I choose a St. Francis Hospital for Animals because I consider it a best vet clinic in Charlotte area. The whole staff was very supportive and truly dedicated. It is hard for me to find precise words to express my gratitude. This place also surprised me with a free of charge clay plate with my cat’s paw print, not to mention the whole box of Kleenex I had to use for the occasion. I have visited several different animal clinics in the past, and very often I felt of being overcharged on services that were neither adequate or sufficient. St. Francis Hospital for Animals is very different. It is a place where each animal and human is deeply appreciated and respected. You have to go there to see the difference.

I had brought my Norwich Terrier for a visit because she her skin had become inflamed/red and she was extremely itchy. They had run test and were not able to pinpoint exactly what was wrong. So, they prescribed her, what I felt was, the whole pharmacy. I bought all the meds, none of which helped. I returned with the same concern and the Vet recommended I bring her to a specialist, at the same time letting me know that they arent able to successfully treat allergies/skin irritations the MAJORITY of the time. If I was told that earlier, I wouldve brought my dog to a specialist to start with! Really feel like they couldve handled the situation better so that my dog could get the correct treatment the first time around. Instead, I feel like they were just after my money.

I have been a client of St. Francis for over 30 years. I started with "Doc" and now his daughter CC has taken over since he has retired. I have always had the best relationship with the doctors and staff. CC is following in her Dads footsteps with the way she takes her time to listen, really listen to you in regards to the care you would like for your pet. They have never pushed me into doing something either I could not afford or didnt want to do. They always give you the options and let you make the decision. As long as I have a pet St. Francis is where I will go.

have been with Dr. Cooper for almost 20 years! He is so dedicated and caring, as his is staff! When one of my dogs got in a fight with another of my dogs, he saved the beat-up dogs life! Dr. Cooper makes himself available at all hours of the day or night-365 days a year! Its absolutely amazing that he is so committed to caring for animals! Tim actually slept beside her-talk about going above and beyond the call of duty! Dr. Cooper, Ashley. Scott, Tim and everyone there is incredible beyond all expectations!

I was disappointed when St. Francis Hospital for Animals moved from its convenient Park Road location (1 mile from my home) to its current location location near Pineville, but after some reflection, I decided to keep St. Francis as my vet for my cat Atticus. I have been very happy with the Hospitals service, and the staff clearly cares for and likes Atticus, who is a very happy cat. We use the Hospital both for routine care and occasionally when we are out of town for boarding.

Ive taken my pets here for 31 years. They go above and beyond. My dog wont go inside the office and Dr. Falcis understood that and met her in the parking lot. I tried a mobile vet but my dog wouldnt cooperate with him either. Dr. Falcis clearly loves animals and they know it. Shes also very kind to me as I just lost another dog and am almost as nervous around vets as my dog is. They care about your pets and spend the necessary time with you. They are absolutely wonderful.

The fact that the daughter has taken over from her dad is a nice touch. Have been going here for 30 plus years with both dogs and cats. The staff is great and down to earth. The recent remodel project was needed and looks good. One of our dogs suffers from seizures and their connection with the big emergency pet hospital just around the block is great also. Even when we have had to put an animal down, the staff was compassionate without being phony.

Dr. Fernando Falcis is nice and patient. He had taken care my dog for almost 10 years. After his retirement, his daughter Dr. C.C Falcis is the main Dr. for the vet hospital. She is a pet lover too. As pet owners, we always hope we can find a vet not just to run the business, but also a true pet lover. Put the pet the first place rather than just making profit. Treat the patients as their own pets. I think this is the hospital we are looking for.

On my daughters recommendation, I took my Westie, Maddie. to St.Francis fairly shortly after I moved here. Even though it was a Sunday and Maddie, although out of sorts but not appearing to be critically ill, Dr. Cooper and his assistants came in. examined her thoroughly., and treated her. With the medication her prescribed, she was back to her old self within two day. I was very satisfied and appreciative. Thank you so much.
