Did Gayle write her own reviews? I bought make-up lessons for myself and a friend thinking it would be a fun birthday present for my friend. The total cost was $130. Gayle was rude and insulting throughout our sessions. Among her many snotty remarks, she called me "old" and told my friend her "eyebrows had grown down to her eyelashes." It sounds funny as I repeat it now, but at the time my friend and I were looking at each other with our mouths open: "Did she really just say that?" She would ask what we thought and either ignore what we said, or respond with insults. Her application of eye shadow and blush was straight out of the 80s with colors too dark for our complexions. We walked out looking like drag queens. I initially wanted to buy some concealer and foundation, but Gayle was so consistently rude throughout our sessions, there was no way i was going to buy any product from her. Even though her website states she believes it best to “let the phones ring and take care of the customer standing in front of you…" she answered and made a phone calls during our session. We both tried to be nice to her, to warm her up, help her see us as people and not just checkbooks, but nothing would crack her dark, snarky demeanor. I dont know what is troubling Gayle, but it wasnt us and it wasnt our fault. Never again for Body Resultz. I phoned Gayle the following day and left a message stating how disappointed I had been, that we had wanted to have fun, to learn something and that our simple aims had been met with her. I also stated I wanted a refund. Gayle didnt return my call until a day and a half later, after shed run to my bank and cashed my check. Her message suggested we "chat" and gave an hour window when i should call her back. Her message made no acknowledgement of my dissatisfaction or request for refund. I would recommend Gayle to anyone wanting some high-priced verbal abuse from an unhappy, self-centered woman who is so desperate to make a buck that she doesnt have time for ethical, much less courteous, professional conduct.

I purchased a very expensive eye cream here as I prefer to support small local entrepreneurs. This is one place I will never return !  I opened the seal of the cream and started pumping and pumping and then turned the cap to see if that was tight  and it wasn't.  There was nothing in the bottle, it was  bone dry a $100 bottle of air. I immediately called the store. Much to my surprise she refused to help. Not only that she started making up stuff like you can't see the product in the bottle and taking the lid off ruined the pump. No she could not return the money to my debit card  She also asked me to come back next week when the rep was there but she doubted he would accept a return. That is when I called the rep myself and after hearing how I had been treated he apologized profusely promising to send another product as this was obviously a packaging error. This was so obvious but the owner of the store just held firm to her no returns, hands off policy. Wow no such thing as customer service here!

After moving to Santa Cruz in February of 2008, I happened upon Body Resultz Skin Care while attending a play at the Actors Studio. I have been to many estecians over the years and even tried another one here in Santa Cruz. Gayle is by far one of if not the best I have ever been to and I will never leave Body Resultz again. Gayle is thoughtful, gentle and knowledgeable. Before, I would have facials becuase they are relaxing and fun. I never had skin issues, Now with the onset of menapause, my hormonal changes are causing issues I never had to deal with before. Gayle is my angel. Because of her products and services, I have gotten my skin issues under control and my skin is back to looking and feeling like it did when I was in my 30s. Additionally, I had frequently had bikini waxes and when I went to Gayle I decided on having a Brazilian instead. Im soooo glad I had it with Gayle. An excellent, painless experience and handled with the utmost professionalism. I LOVE GAYLE and you will too!

I always dreamed of having beautiful flawless skin and didnt think it was possible until I met Gayle. I have to admit she is my savior! I feel the best feature we can embrace as women is our skin and Gayle is the women to go to if you want to feel more confident about your appearance. I got a European facial and some facial waxing and walked out of her spa feeling like a god. The moment I got back in the car my brother said "Wow what happened to you? Your skin is glowing!" My skin was not only glowing but it was soft as ever. My skin looked beautiful even after she waxed me. The waxing formula she uses is gentle but effective at getting every single hair possible… I love it. I now know what people mean when they say "Will Never Leave Again" because I walked out of her spa feeling much more satisfied than I could have ever imagined. I dont know what she does but I can tell you what I do know, it feels damn good to go out on a Friday night with no foundation and truly LOVE THE SKIN YOUR IN!

Goodbye Acne... I have dealt with acne and oily skin for as long as I can remember. I had tried everything under the sun and every acne product on the shelves of the drugstore to no avail. I finally decided to look for help, and when I searched skin care in Santa Cruz Body Resultz came up with great ratings. I decided to try a series of three acne facials over the span of three weeks, and I am so glad I did! Gayle spends about two hours with you during each facial, and she really gets to know you skin. The products might seem a little pricey, but once you use them you will realize they are worth it as you get what you pay for. I have just completed my series and I feel like a different person. I would have never believed it before, but with the right products and a little bit of patience I too can have perfect skin! Thanks Gayle :)

Gayle is wonderful - both at waxing and at making your wax experience relaxed and comfortable. She has types of wax I never knew existed, and she finds out exactly the right kind for you (I have a celtic complexion apparently - thicker hair with sensitive skin). Im a student at UCSC and had tried a couple of places in town before, but now I need look no further because this wax was great - professional, thorough and with lasting results. If youre used to a botch job, which I was, this standard of treatment will seem like luxury - true pampering. Thanks Gayle - see you in 6 weeks!

Gina Velez

Gayle is a master in her field, shes skilled and knowledgeable in skin biology and overall well-being of self. I always notice that she is unwavering when it comes to product integrity and is not a sell out to the lower cost brands/products. I find she is competitive in the market and always very accommodating to meet my scheduling needs. I have no issues highly recommending your skin/self to a wonderful experience.
