I am an occasional patient of Dr. Recht for mole removal. First time I had that procedure about 10 years ago and there are no traces of the scars! My last procedure was in August of 2012. I had to pay from my pocket, but I better do that than use my Kaiser insurance (very poor experience: painful and big scars). The work Dr. Recht did on my face can be compared with a work of a jeweler. The stitches were tiny, the whole procedure was painless including anesthetic injections, and the healing was fast. I also got a laser needle procedure for another skin condition for no additional charge. Dr. Recht is a kind doctor with a good sense of humor.

completely chaotic office: on my first visit last month i was kept waiting a full hour before the doctor saw me. he swore this is rare, and encouraged me to return in several weeks. when i showed up for my appointment today, the receptionist said id have to wait "at least a half hour." when i asked why i wasnt notified, she said "im too busy." additionally, their financial requirements--they wont talk to your insurance company if theres a disagreement--are unreasonable.
