been here the first time.. as per the doctor say that he recommended deep cleaning.. the funny thing is that i went to 2 other dentists to get their opinion they both said no all you really need is a good cleaning. i have paid for the first client package and they refuse to refund my money although, nothing at all was done yet. I felt that the staff was ok, the dr was more into the "what will" make them more money today and not whats affordable for the patient and or is really needed done instead of trying to find a way to rip you off. Ive never seen any doctor that will charge nearly $3k for deep cleaning. Their rate is incredibly outrage! I dont recommend this doctor to any one! they only care about finding ways to make them more money and is not concern about the patient what so ever! Oh I paid for the xray and cleaning.. the doctor never even come to clean my teeth it was the assistant that did it for nearly 2-5 minutes, she poke a few places and keep on telling me " im doing my best to get all the plaque and build up out." I was surprise when she kept saying that but, instead she touch each teeth once and then kept on saying you really need to get your teeth deep clean. Its incredible that the dr. the assistant work together to make the patient feel that they needed something the doctor would gain $$ for the service. DONT EVER GET YOUR TEETH CLEAN HERE BECAUSE YOU DO A BETTER JOB AT HOME WITH YOUR TOOTH BRUSH! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY BECAUSE ONCE YOU COME IN FOR A CONSULTATION IF EVERYTHING IS GOOD WITH YOUR TEETH THEY WILL ALWAYS RECOMMEND A "DEEP CLEANING"...REGARDLESS IF YOU NEED IT OR NOT! Beside, they will refuse to clean your teeth because they say you Need a Deep Cleaning" and if they do because you paid cash they will give you a 2-5 minutes water spray from your teeth to your face! very unprofessional! never been to such a place they take very little time to clean your teeth and made any effort in the work!

DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST. He is a rip off and the work is terrible. The crowns dont match any other teeth in your mouth. There is no color chart used when sending impressions to the lab. He cant even make the teeth fit in your mouth without destroying other teeth. I ended up with a bridge that made me look like Mr. Ed and a crown that keep falling out. He shaved down my bottom teeth to make the bridge somewhat fit. My bridge ended up breaking (shattered) within 2 years and the post on the crown next to it broke off in my gums and had to be pulled. He would not guarantee any of his work, instead recommended another $10k (I was alreadty into him for $12k) to fix what should never have broke. There is no hygienist either. The assistant does the cleaning (which is just a tooth brushing experience). Every bit of work that is "recommended" is not covered by your insurance and they have a sweet setup with finance companies to get you approved for credit with a high limit. Every suggestion/recommendation falls under the "not covered" area. I had the worst experience ever. His office assistant (accomplist) not only lies and cheats the patients, she makes working in the office a living hell for those that choose to stay.

I can see that the reviews here are outdated. My experience with the staff and Dr. Mondavi have been positive. After nearly 18 months I really needed to get over my irrational fear of dentist visits and get my teeth cleaned. I knew I had some gum issues and was not surprised when told I needed more than a cleaning. I had some cavities, gingivitis, and needed some deep cleaning. My insurance didnt cover everything and the price was not cheap. It wasnt extraordinarily expensive, either. But the fact is that your teeth are are extremely important and without routine maintenance they are going to cost you big bucks. My treatment was outlined for me prior to any work being done. All costs were explained to me by the competent and friendly finance officer. The work was done in as pleasant a way as possible. The hygienist was top rate and Dr. Mondavi is a calming presence if you are the least bit worried about having some work done. My teeth have never looked better and my gums are in much better shape. I am motivated to keeping them that way!

When the dentist makes snide comments and watches tv when working on you its really a scary experience. I do NOT recommend him. Hes expensive and charges your insurance for stuff that was never done. I had to go to another dentist to repair work he did on me. After insurance my cost were close to 3k for a couple crowns. He used the car salesman line that the materials he uses are so much better, etc etc. Makes me shudder when I think about it now. A couple of the staff members are friendly and nice enough. Dont let that fool you though. I would NOT EVER RECOMMEND HIM TO ANY FAMILY OR FRIEND. Oh and hes shady enough that he has 2 google places listed because under the old one he was getting bad reviews. So he probably opened this one and encouraged his friends and employees if Im not mistaking on some of the names, to post positive.

I did not take care of my teeth as well as I should have as a young adult. Moving to the area from out of state I was embarrassed and worried about finding a dentist after so many years of not going to one. The entire staff is kind, thoughtful, thorough, and informative. I did not feel judged. They explained how to better take care of my teeth. I had a deep cleaning today. The hygienist was kind and as gentle as she could be, she was attentive to my needs. I would recommend this place to anyone. I will have to go back for a follow up cleaning and fillings as well. The financial situation for these appointments was laid out for me in a very easy to understand conversation before todays appointment began. I am lucky to have found this dentist office. I will now be a life long client.

Worst dentist, if you can even call him a dentist on the planet. Had about $8,000 worth of work done there at Blue Sky Dental by Dr Mondavi. With 2 years, the crowns he put in broke. They should last at least 10-20 years. I also had 6 veneers put in. 3 of the 6 fell off within 3 years! So now I have to have them all redone again. If he has positive reviews, they must be from employees opening fake google and Yelp accounts. I cant possibly see this place actually EARNING a positive review To hell with this butcher. There are plenty of other dentists around, STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE!

Im about 3 months into some major reconstructive dental work and so far, exceptionally pleased. Im very impressed with: (1) The staffs friendly and accommodating nature and; (2) Dr. Mondavis excellent workmanship and; (3) comfortable environment and; (4) the open and candid acumen. As a newcomer to the area, I consider myself lucky to have found this slightly tucked away office off the beaten path. Highly recommend.
