I had great teeth as a kid and my first dental visit at the age of 7 was with Dr. Habermeyer at 25346 Crenshaw Blvd. in Torrance. Alas, at 14, I got braces. A two year plan turned into six because I was a poor orthodontics patient. When the braces finally came off, I had perfectly straight teeth but severe decalcification from over half a decade of my banded molars never seeing the light of day. From that day to this (over 25 years), Ive had numerous cavities, crowns and various other procedures with nearly as many dentists - none of them nearly as fabulous as or could compare to Dr. H. I was elated when, after being added to my husbands insurance plan so I could finally drop the substandard medical and dental benefits my company offered, Dr. H was included as a dental option. I felt as though I was back with a dentist I could trust with a staff I loved. But only 2 years after returning, the good Doctor retired. And Dr. Ji took over his practice and made it her own. She kept Dr. Hs staff and added a few new staff members of her own choosing. I liked that. Not only is she a fantastic dentist but I really love her "lets get busy and get this done as easily and painlessly possible" approach. No hours of waiting in a waiting room and then waiting another hour for the work to commence once youre in an exam room. Like Dr. H, you are guided back to an exam room within 5 minutes after you arrive and done and on your merry way in under an hour. Dr. Ji is extremely skilled and very good at what she does. The combination of old and new staff make for a pleasant dental experience where I always feel welcomed and know my teeth are going to receive the very best care. Most people dont necessarily love their dentists. Do I? Without question - yes! I do love Dr. Ji. I also love Nancy, the most amazing and genuinely lovely, warm and skilled hygienist. I can honestly say I look forward to my quarterly visits with her. Although I was elated to return to Dr. Habermeyers care, when he retired, I continue to stay because Dr. Ji is wonderful and Im so impressed with her work and the people shes chosen to comprise her practice. Thankfully shes relatively young and wont be retiring for a long, long time. Thats good - because I dont plan to nor want to entrust my teeth to the care of anyone else.

Dr Ji and staff run a friendly, comfortable and professional office. There is always time to ask questions and answers are given freely without annoyance or pressure. I have been a patient of this office long before Dr. Ji took over and always felt as if I were being treated as family,. Since Dr. Ji has taken over this practice I still feel the same way! Like most people Ive never really enjoyed going to the dentists office and to be completly honest I havent gone in over 5 years, but after my experience with Dr. Ji I can honestly say shes the best dentist Ive had and that Ill be looking forward to check up every year. The staff was extremely welcoming professional and friendly and Dr. Ji has such a gentle touch you can barely feel her working on you. I am recommending her to all my friends and family! Dr. Ji youre the best!

I was worried when my dentist retired. I dreaded the thought of having to find another dentist. Fortunately the dentist who took over his practice, Dr. Mylena Ji, turned out to be perfect. She is highly qualified, professional and has a great staff. I’m retired and don’t have insurance so I appreciate her uninsured patient rates. I’m glad I won’t have to look for a dentist for a long time.
