Ive been a patient at this office for about 3 years and I absolutely love Dr.Mellert as my dentist. Ive honestly never in my life volunteered to go to the dentist to have any work done without cancelling appointments because I was afraid of going to the dentist. Now I make my appointments to see Dr. Mellert regularly and feel so comfortable doing so--without second thoughts. As a nurse in the field, bedside manner is so important to me and Dr. Mellerts bedside manner is unmatchable. He is patient, comforting, quick, and most of all has a gentle hand leaving you pain-free. I trust his work and appreciate the fact he is not one of those dentists that is an apparent "salesman" as he keeps my dental care affordable and only recommends what is necessary. I was in for a crown and asked if I could have a filling replaced--Dr. Mellert said Dr. Brown was able to do this without notice and I was done within 15 minutes; so impressive! With that said, Dr. Brown is wonderful as well and very gentle and comforting. Dr. Mellert and Dr. Browns office staff are so delightful and instantly upon entrance make me feel at ease. The overall positive and welcoming vibe in the office is easily sensible from the front office to the back office and this does not go unnoticed! Its taken years and years to find the right dentist and rid of my fear of going to the dentist; however, with the right environment and talented dentists, dental work is a breeze. I highly recommend both of these dentists without a doubt and am so pleased to have found Dr. Mellert and Dr. Brown!

I have been a patient of Dr. Mellert for over 20 years. I was terrified of dentists because of past bad experiences as a child and even as an adult. My first appointment was an emergency because I had a terribly infected tooth that had caused my face to swell so badly on one side that my eye was swollen almost shut and I was in a lot of pain. He took care of the problem and made sure I felt absolutely no pain as he promised me. Through the years he has performed various procedures on my teeth and gums absolutely pain free. I no longer fear dental appointments, actually I look forward to them. The staff is absolutely wonderful and so accommodating and always have been. I just feel like I am visiting family every time I go in for an appointment. Now I do not know of too many people that can say a dentist appointment is like visiting family, but I sure can and I go about every 3-4 months. Also my insurance is no longer one that Dr. can accept because its a HMO, but I am still going to stay with Dr. Mellert, that alone should speak volumes about how great I think Dr. Mellert and his staff, and I do mean his entire staff,are. How about 10 stars?

I cant saying enough Dr Mellert is the best dentist Ive ever had All my life I have been fearful I started sitting in a dentist chair at three years old I am now 58 I am so blessed to have found this dentist for its the first time in my life that my anxiety has been addressed and is completely gone. On top of that the dental work is phenomenal I went into this doctors office with two issues in my mouth that another dentist would not address said everything was fine After my exam it was the two top priorities that he wanted to take care of and I had not told Dr Mellert about these issues. And did not have to!!!!!!! I could go on and on. I will end with this not only is he the best dentist Ive ever been to. It is the best office staff ever, its a complete package.

Dr. Mellert and his staff are wonderful. I had a problem come up on a weekend and Dr. Mellert got me in first thing Monday morning and fixed up by the end of the day. I was a new patient. After that, Dr. Mellert devised a treatment plan for me to get things in shape as I hadnt been to a dentist in approx. 10 years. Over the next several months, I had to have several new crowns and a couple fillings replaced and everything went really smooth. If youve been putting off going to a dentist because of pain, needles, drilling, etc..., Id recommend Dr. Mellert to help you get back current with your dental needs. I had a lot of work done over the next several months and the pain was minimal/non-existent.

Dr Mellert cares about teeth. When you talk with him you realize he is really interested in teeth. He wants teeth to be healthy, he wants your teeth to be healthy. Im sure you can get the veneers and whatnot, but for him health comes first. Thats what I want. Connie has always been doing my cleanings and she is great. The office is easy to schedule and they run on time, even late in the day. The prices are very fair. If you want healthy teeth and gums from a doctor who puts health foremost, go with Dr. Mellert. If you want to sell your your car for veneers and gold teeth or something that is not good for your mouth, you should call somebody else.

It is always a great thing to find a dentist that you will want to stay with forever, no matter the time of travel, no matter the distance, no matter what. A great dentist is a great find and someone you keep for life. I have been with James Mellert for more than 30 years. Over the years, I have traveled from all over the city, from all over the country, to continue to see him. I feel extremely lucky to have found him when I was young, and, for all of his experience, cutting-edge dental technology, and very personal care, I would never, never think of seeing another dentist. Dr. Mellert has totally transformed my experience with dentists, which in the past was extremely unpleasant and anxiety-inducing. I am 60 and have had numerous bad experiences with dentists in their work to correct and/or repair previous work that has not stood the test of time. I totally trust Dr. Mellert, and his staff, to ensure that the work done is done perfectly and professionally and with no or absolutely minimal pain or stress to me. I recommend him and his whole staff without reservation, and have sent my family members to him as well.

Ive been going to Dr. Mellert for many years! hes really great and Connie is my dental HYgenist. The staff is really friendly and theyre excellent at what they do! The only reason that I do not give 5 stars is that the new office layout gives no privacy. You can hear everything from other rooms and its a bit chaotic for my taste. If that type of thing doesnt bother you than you should count my review as 5 stars! Either way, hes an excellent dentist and so is Dr Brown. I would recommend them to everyone!
