My most recent visit to Dental was for a root canal. And even though the procedure itself is not the most fun to undergo, the staff at Select Dental made the experience much easier than I originally thought it would be. Dr. Besser and her assistant George performed the root canal. They were both friendly, professional and extremely efficient. The entire procedure took less time, and was much less painful than I thought. Dr. Besser took the time to answer all of my questions, and addressed all of my concerns. I felt extremely comfortable with them, and was truly pleasantly surprised by how easy they made the entire procedure. I also visited with Dr. Gangel shortly after my procedure. She has always been very friendly, and has always made me feel comfortable by always explaining everything that she would be doing prior to doing it. She always makes sure that I am comfortable and in no pain while I am sitting in her chair. Also, her assistant Lourdes is phenomenal. She is very efficient, and always once step ahead in anticipating what Dr, Gangel will need next. She is incredibly efficient, and truly makes my visits that much more enjoyable. She is Great! I cannot finish this review without mentioning Vanessa. From the very first time that I step into Select Dental, Vanessa has always made it very clear that customer service is at the very top of her priority list. She has gone above and beyond to make sure that I am a very satisfied patient. She follows up after all of my visits to make sure that everything went well, and to ask if there is anything that could have been done better. Being part of the medical community myself, I have very high expectations as to how a patient should be treated. I have to say that Vanessa has not only met, but has also exceeded every one of my expectations. Thank you Vanessa for just being awesome.

My family has been patients of this office for about two years now. My daughter is a patient, of orthodontist, Dr. Brandon. He has a lot of patience. During our initial consultation, he thoroughly explained the procedures. She is half way through her treatment and I can already see a lot of improvement. During her monthly check ups, Dr. Brandon is always there to answer any questions. Vanessa, the office manager is great as well. She took the time to explain all the economics involving my daughter’s braces. She is extremely easy to work with and provided many options. She really took the time to make sure, I understood the procedure and costs. She was there to answer all insurance questions. She is always very friendly and there to offer a helping hand. My husband and me see Dr. Gangel. We absolutely love her. She is the nicest person. She also explains all the procedures. She takes the time to make sure you are comfortable and makes sure we have a pleasant experience. She listens to all of our concerns, and answers all questions and offers varies options. I have seen many dentists in my lifetime. No one will ever be close to Dr. Gangel. The office is very clean and well kept. There is little to no wait time. The staff is always friendly with a big smile on their faces. The front desk staff is always there to greet you. I highly recommend this office. From the minute you walk into their office to till the end of your visit you will always have a good experience.

Ive had bad experiences before with other dentists where its been painful and nerve wrecking that have made every experience a painful one. Ive been seeing Dr. Gangel for some time now and she is the most professional, understanding and caring person Ive ever encountered at a dentist. Dr. Gangel is aware of my past experiences and always makes sure to ask if Im in any pain or if Im doing ok...it sure makes me feel good knowing she cares. She had done an excellent job on the work shes done on me and Ive never been happier. Ive also seen Ines, whos a hygienist at this office. Ines is a true professional, always so pleasant to see and makes sure to make me feel comfortable while doing her job. Always asking the right questions in regards to anything I may have a concern with. Ive also brought my two boys to this office. Here we also met Dr. Brandon who is the orthodontist at this office. Dr. Brandon is another true professional. Both of my boys had to get braces and he made sure he explained the process step by step. I wanted my boys to have a great experience at the dentist and so far its been great for them. Overall the entire staff at this office has been great from the welcoming ladies at the front desk, the Drs and all of the staff that works on giving their patients an overall great experience....GREAT JOB!!!

Without question in the past 10 years that I have sought dental maintenance and treatment at this office, I have found Dr. Dean Salo to be the most honest and professional dentist I have ever encountered. Because of his and his staffs advice and treatment over the years, I have saved many thousands of dollars by taking their proactive advice and following up with multiple periodic maintenance visits every year. Dr. Dean Salo is one of the most reputable health professionals I have known and I would highly recommend his services along with his very dedicated and hard working staff to anyone needing a second opinion about dental care or as a new patient. Recently, I have had advanced dental treatment by both Dr. Gangel and Dr. Salo over several months and again commend them both and their highly professional dental staff that continue to provide outstanding dental care and treatment. I have found this dentistry group to be very compassionate, cordial, sincere and most competent when compared to other dental practices I used in the South Bay over 10 years ago for a brief period until I found this one.

When we moved to Torrance 16 years ago we checked out a couple of dentist offices. Another practice was interested in performing lots of dental work that was not covered by our insurance. Select Dental works with our insurance to provide the best care, and takes the time to explain the reasons for any procedure that goes beyond our coverage. The dentists and hygienists all do an excellent job and have a great "chair-side manner." The front desk is friendly and efficient. Since they deal with most every type of insurance be sure you have a basic idea of what insurance you have and how it works. Give em a hand and theyll do right by you. The team at Select Dental had been fighting their old office building for years. Recently they move a couple blocks down the street to what is basically a new facility. Very high tech, and now they have decent parking, too! Dad, mom, the kids and even grandma go to Select Dental for our orthodontic and dentistry needs.

Great Experience Today!!! I havent been to the dentist since I was 18 and Im 29 now. I know, how embarrassing to say. I googled local dentist in Torrance and found Select Dental Group. When I first walked in I was amazed on how nice and new the facility was. I cant remember the nurses (assistants) name that did my x-rays but she was extremely nice. The doctor that examined my teeth was very helpful. She showed me all the x-rays, pictures of my teeth and gums. She actually explained to me what was going on in my mouth and what I needed to get done so my teeth could be healthy again. I was very confidant going to Select Dental Group so I actually made three appointments to come back to get the work thats needed for my teeth. I really wish I would of remembered each persons name because each and every one of the ladies were extremely nice to me and Im very happy I found this place. Cant wait to see you ladies again on Wednesday.
