I have been going to Dr. Gryzick for well over 5 years and went for a simple cleaning visit in mid September of this year. When I came in for my appointment, I was seen by the hygienist who examined my teeth and told me that I needed a special cleaning. As I left, I made an appointment for later on in the month for the special cleaning. Additionally, the front desk staff stated they would check with my insurance. I showed up for my special cleaning appointment and was told my share of the fee was $186. I had my treatment, then the next month kept getting EOBs from my insurance company denying the claim for the special cleaning. I returned for a follow up appointment to recheck the special cleaning I was told that I owed the remainder $136 since the insurance denied the claim since it wasnt pre-authorized. At the same time the staff told me I needed to make another special cleaning appointment for a different side of my mouth. When I protested about making another appointment when the first claim was denied because of the lack of pre-authorization, the staff stated this time would be different since this wasnt an emergency situation and they had time to get the pre-authorization. At no time was the first treatment referred to as an emergency. This experience has totally broken the trust I have in Dr. Gryzicks staff in processing insurance preauthorizations correctly and their truthfulness in any matters associated with billing. I will never return to this office

I have worked and lived in many countries during the past 40+ years and experienced many dental practices. Now settled in Denver, I have being attending this dental practice for the past 2 years. From the moment I walk through the door, I am treated to a welcoming, friendly and professional experience from all the staff. Every attendance during that time has been the best "in the dentist chair" experience I have had. Visits included a wisdom tooth extraction that was performed so well by Dr Gryzick that I experienced no pain whatsoever during or after the procedure. The periodic cleaning sessions performed by Jenni the Hygienist have been so thorough that my receding gum tissue has not only been halted but reversed and the tissue has increased. She is extremely considerate in her treatment so as to not cause any pain or discomfort. Always cheerful which mirrors the attitude of all the staff. I cannot recommend this dental practice high enough.

When my boy turned 5 years old, about 2005, we decided to have a permanent dentist treat him until he is an adult. Dr. Gryzick is the dentist we chose and have never looked back! He is as painless a dentist as I ever had in 50 plus years. Boy was I nervous the first time he pulled molar of mine out. But it was less painful than I ever imagined and now Im not afraid to visit him a couple of times a year for a simple cleaning. Im a coward! My boy has gotten a great start in life for his dentist. He has never shown any reticence going to an appointment. Dr. Gryzick will be my family dentist until I leave the Denver area and I plan on being here for a long time! Other dentists may be as good as Dr. Gryzick, but there is none better for my money. And were not even related!

I really like this place! The staff is very friendly and efficient, the cleanings are as painless as possible, and Ive never had to wait past my appt time. Ive recently moved to Elizabeth, but I like Family One Dental so much that Im still a customer! I dont normally like dental offices, but this one is different. Highly recommended! I should add that Ive tried many of the other dentists in the area, including the chain that promises comfort (not to name names or anything!), but once I tried Dr. Gryzick, I stayed.

First time going to a dentist in Colorado, I recently moved here from Michigan. I cant say enough good things about this place. Going in I noticed the level of professionalism and courtesy was beyond anything I ever experienced before. The nurses and staff are polite, friendly, and very helpful. Dr. Gryzick and his entire staff are wonderful. They are flexible with appointments, and are always right on time. My son is autistic, and very reticent to have any hands in his mouth, let alone instruments. But everyone was so gentle and reassuring, and really took the time to talk him through everything they were doing, to build a trust with him. Now, both of my children are actually excited to go the dentist.

David is great, and never recommend unneeded procedures. My hygenist cleans my teeth just as well. They accept dental plan published rate instead of billing the patients for the difference.
