NEGATIVE REVIEW- Both my wife and I were sick with the same thing. I was in first thing in the morning, was seen fairly quickly by competent staff. They told me it was bronchitis, and treated it as such. Insurance paid the bill and I was charged nothing. My wife was in later in the afternoon (after work). She is on the same insurance plan. They tried to whack her a $75 co-pay, would not run her insurance card (which would have told them she has no co-pay), and were VERY RUDE. The person who saw her was an intern, not an actual DR or RN, who was very touchy and rude, and got her medical history incorrect. They diagnosed her condition incorrectly (said viral infection, gave antibiotics which treat bacterial). The late afternoon staff is very lacking in customer service, and very rude. I will not be going here ever again. I will not recommend this place to anyone. I am very unsatisfied. AVOID THIS LOCATION.

NEVER AGAIN !!!! It was my mistake, my first and last in this place. I went there with a sore throat, yesterday. The older lady at the window asked for my name and said I should sit and wait a moment. It was maybe 4 people ahead of me, but I ended up waiting maybe 10 people who came after. I just assumed they had to have an exact time for their appointments. When it was almost time for closing up the clinic the lady at the window asked me who I am waiting for?!?! You can imagine how I felt. Their "sorry" wasnt sincere at all. Careless, unconcerned people with a smirky smiles. Then I wasnt even examined by a doctor but by a physician assistent who was nice but you couldnt see much experience there. Not sure if I will get better after all. Dirty and filthy place with the sticky and black doors around the doorknobs. I will definitely look for a different medical help and so should you!!!

Arrived with my daughter for a basic sports physical. Med Help does not supply the medical forms for her school. My mistake. So I called home and asked my husband to get the medical form required from the school website. He found it and I told the receptionist that my husband can fax it asap to their office. The receptionist then told me that since I arrived at 6:02 pm (hours of business are 8:00 am - 8:00 pm) that they have a policy that they will not perform sport physicals after 6:00 pm and I should come back in the am. This is the question I have - there was no notice or sign indicating that they will not perform a sports physical after 6:00 pm. I thought this was a walk in clinic! I will be calling the supervisor tomorrow to request a copy of this policy. Terrible customer service. Stay clear of this place!!!!! Lisa Burlington

Awful. Every time Ive been in within the past few years theyre unable to give me a diagnosis, or treat anything properly (giving antibiotics for viral infections, ect). The female nurse practitioner (Polish or Russian in descent) is very rude and insensitive to the patients. Shes incompetent and in my opinion should seek other employment. The staff and receptionists are very pleasant, its just the doctors and nurses who are unable to detect any problems and theyre very unapologetic. Also, be careful and save your receipts. Bristol hospital has a history of double charging. Wouldnt recommend to anyone. Its a much better choice going to UConn or New Britain General. 1/5 stars because 0/5 unfortunately isnt an option.

Wow, I am shocked at the bad reviews. Over the last 10 years I have gone here (and taken my kids here) when my own doctors office was not open and one of us was dying with strep throat or a sinus infection or a fever. This staff is phenomenal! You might have to wait a little bit, but it is a walk-in clinic after all. They have always been spot on with their diagnoses and everyone from the medical assistant to the doctor has been kind, warm, and respectful. I actually prefer going here to my own doctor. I have nothing but rave reviews for the medical personnel here. When you have a fever on a Saturday afternoon, you will fall to your knees with gratitude that this place is open and ready to help.

Staff- front desk staff was nice on the phone but not so friendly in person. When waiting for an urgent issue, its important to make your patients feel comfortable when waiting, and I wasnt feeling it. The first nurse I saw was very nice, so that was a nice surprise. Wait- Not too long, but I can see how their waits would be long. Seemed more focused on getting caught up than dealing with the patients in the waiting room. All in all though, not bad considering the reviews I read. Service- seemed really unorganized. My doctor didnt wear gloves when she gave me a shot... Weird? She was nice though. All in all, i would maybe go back

Friendly people, no wait, no problems. I guess some people show up at the last minute without the correct paperwork that THEY need filled out, and they think that everyone should stop everything to get them squared away. But if you are actually sick and need to see a doctor, Med Help is a great asset to the citizens of Bristol. If you need something like, I dont know, a sports physical or something like that, you might be better off going to your physician. They take time. If a child is cleared to play, then gets injured, lawsuits follow.

My stepsons mother owed an outstanding bill for his doctors office and he needed a physical to start school and due to his father and I getting custody we are now responsible for his doctors bill we dont understand how his mother couldnt pay it when we were giving her $210 a week for child support plus buying all his stuff for school and everything else needless to say I had to bring him here to med health and the gave him a physical so he could start school thank you all for taking the time to help us out we appreciate it dearly

Went here for an urgent issue that didnt call for a visit to the emergency room. Took time off work and they didnt seem to care about anyone elses schedule but their own. Very VERY rude on the phone both times I called as the other person said. I was also not very confident in their diagnosis. Would recommend, unless youre in pain, waiting to see your own physician.

I have been to this walk in clinic 4 times over the past year and a half and have never had a complaint. Staff isnt OVERLY friendly, but definitely eager to help and seemingly concerned. A little slow at the front desk today, but nothing to complain about. PAs and doctors are knowledgeable and do what they able based on being a walk in clinic.
