I usually go to citymd in lake grove because they are awesome but decided to go to stat health because they are literally down the block from my house. I have had a virus for several days. You know.. the kind of virus that going from the bedroom to the bathroom is constant and the phrase "please God help me" is said quite a few times. Today I finally felt well enough to go to the doctor. My job requires a note if I am out three days or more. I saw the PA, Kevin Kennedy and it was determined that I most likely have a virus and he gave me a note for today. I told him that I needed a note for the time I was out and he refused saying that I needed to come see them the first day I was sick in order to get a note for that time. Who goes to the doctor the first day they are sick with a virus? It was not even possible unless they wanted me to be sick all over the waiting area. I have received notes in the past and I have never had a problem. I also needed a B12 shot and they didnt have it there, telling me I needed to go to my primary. I like City MD in Lake Grove. I am sorry I wasted my time and my money. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place.

I have been here a few times and each time I have not had to wait very long before being taken to a roof. Max wait has been a half hour which is very reasonable considering it is a medical office. They have been able to accurately diagnose and prescribe me with the needed medications and literature regarding my conditions. I really like the staff and the doctors are friendly.

Brought my daughter yesterday. The office wasnt busy...2 people ahead of us. We were there a total of over 2 hours!!! After we FINALLY went in...every time they came in and out it was FOREVER until they came back. I dont know if its understaffed or poor procedure. This isnt the first bad experience weve had there. Ill be looking for somewhere else.

STAT Health Selden helped me with back pain from over exercising. They prescribed muscle relaxers and provided literature about my injury. This was the first time I received treatment at an urgent care facility. I would return there in the future.
