I had severe back and hip pain due to a car accident and was referred to Damato Chiropractic of Glastonbury. I was seen by Dr. Stephanie for 6 months and occasionally by Dr. Nick. I must say, without a doubt, the care I received here was above and beyond my expectations. The staff was unbelievably kind and courteous. They were very caring, understanding, and ensured that the service you received was exceptional at all times. If ever you had a concern regarding scheduling, or treatment, they immediately addressed it without a second to lose. Beyond the office staff, I saw treated by Shari Casolo and Tim Tynan for massage therapy. Shari was amazing, I am lost for words as to how wonderful her massages were. She helped relax my muscles and prepare me to be seen by Stephanie and Nick. Each appointment she would focus on the areas which had the most pain, and prior to ending the massage she would address the rest of my back. Her hands are definitely a gift and I will miss her messages greatly. Tim was also a wonderful message therapist. He was very kind and courteous. Unfortunately, I was in to much pain to really reap the benefits from his approach to massage therapy, but none the less he was very understanding. The office staff and message therapist were amazing, but nothing can compare to the treatment I received from Stephanie and Nick. Stephanie took the time to listen to my concerns, my areas of pain, and adjust my treatment accordingly. Each visit, she would begin by treating my back while inquiring about my progress. If there were any areas of concern, she would immediately address them and adjust my visits as needed. At one point during my treatment, I was experiencing a tremendous amount of tightness and pain in my hip. It was extremely unbearable. Stephanie not only encouraged me to contact the office to be seen immediately, but also provided me her personal number to reach her directly, at any time, if the pain were to worsen. She took great care of me, and with her expertise I am no longer in pain. Being involved in a car accident is no fun, and is very painful. Most Dr.s and companies you deal with after your accident are more concerned about liability and money. But not the office of Damato Chiropractic of Glastonbury. Their main concern was the well-being of their clients. Not once did I feel as if I was just another patient at a doctors office. Instead, I felt as if I was part of a caring family. Although my treatments have come to an end, I will most definitely be returning for a routine alignment. I highly recommend and encourage you to be treated at Damato Chiropractic of Glastonbury. It is an experience you will never forget or regret.

I was referred to Dr. Nick by my son-in-law a couple of years ago but did not act at that time. In August when I once again could not move my right arm and my right hip began locking up almost constantly, I decided to see if the positive remarks made by my daughter and son in law were true. They were! My hip joint locked up only once since I started to see Dr. Nick and his wonderful, family friendly, kind, helpful staff. It locked up the day following my driving for over 6 hours to attend an out of state family event, and I was able to fully enjoy that event too. I can now use my arm again to chop vegetables, something I have not been able to do for about two years. I am a believer in Chiropractic medicine! And the massage - I have refused free professional massages because the idea of having one was not thrilling to me. I suffer from Osteoarthritis and Fibromyalgia and the idea of more pain was a turn off. I have had total hip and knee replacements on both of my hips and my knees. Chronic pain is my daily companion. The massage therapy and the chiropractic adjustments make my life bearable again. Words cannot fully express how thankful I am for all Damato Chiropractic Center has done for me. Ive been a patient here for a year next month. Before my first visit I couldnt stand for more than 5 minutes without feeling like there was a rock in my hip joint, I couldnt stand up with out grabbing my hip and limping (making my 26 year old body look like I was 96!), and I couldnt sleep on my right side (I would wake up wincing in pain the moment I rolled onto my hip). Dr. Nick Damato picked up on my hip displacement as an infant and that one of my legs is longer than the other during the consultation. After reviewing my x-rays we discovered that my hip is fused to my spine! No wonder I was in pain after bowling, dancing, and kickboxing a few times a week that spring! I was back to normal range of motion within 5 months and convinced my husband to visit Nick and see if anything could be done about his sore neck and pain near his eye. Well, Nick found the problem and my husband now gets adjusted once a week too and is feeling amazing again! The staff is amazing and friendly - they feel like an extension of our family. The atmosphere is very relaxing and feels like a spa. Our insurance doesnt cover more than 12 visits, but thats not an issue with the payment plans that DCC offers.

Both my husband and I go to Damato Chiropractic Center of Glastonbury. My husband started going 2 weeks before our wedding for lower back pain; we did not think he would be able to dance at our wedding, however he did all evening! After seeing his fast progress, I began seeing Dr. Abate as well. (I suffered from chronic pain in my right hip and thought that it was a joint issue. Turns out it was only muscle related! I also have several other discomforts; neck, shoulders and knee). After about 2.5 months I am now pain free and have gone from 3 visits a week to 1 visit a week. Both Dr. Abate and myself are very pleased with the progress made, and I could not be happier with the care and advice both my husband and I have received. The doctors, staff and chiropractic assistants are all wonderful! They provide a family atmosphere that shows they are fun loving and hardworking. We will not go anywhere else and we urge others to give Damato Chiropractic Center of Glastonbury a call to see what they can do for you.

Going to a chiropractors office at first can be rather nerve racking at first. The moment that you step into the office of Damato Chiropractic, that feeling goes away. The staff is very friendly, caring and knowledgeable. The Dr. will talk to you like a normal person, and not with the long winded terms that make no a common person. When you have to bring your kids with you, they feel just as comfortable as you do. I have been to another chiropratic office before Damato, and I felt that I got taken for my money with very little in return. At Damato you get the whole package with custom foot supports for your shoes, messages, adjustments, and relaxing ice down. Recently I had knee surgery. I believe with the help of the Dr. and message therapist, that I have been able to heal faster, allowing me to get ahead of the healing process. I couldnt imagine going to another Chirorpractic Office and will continue recommending Damato Chiropractic to everyone.
