Not just this place but the whole Hartford healthcare system is messed up! But I paid a visit to the ER. I was bend over crying in pain since I had been constipated for 2 weeks. I was literally there for 20 minutes before they sent me home with laxatives (which I already took everything possible). Gave me a referral for a GI specialist. Called and called and called the GI place for 2 days ( which is at Central) and finally someone answered to be told they dont except my insurance.

Just spent well over an hour in the ER, with no wait time per website, with my girlfriend in excruciating pain, only to be judged, ignored, disrespected and dismissed by the nursing staff. When informed that we would be leaving and going to another ER, the nurse simply and smugly replied, "OK.", making absolutely no attempt at entertaining, let alone resolving, our multiple requests for prompt treatment.

Tried for a month and a half to get an MRI from this place that has the only open MRI in ct Instead of making the the appointment making process smooth for a potential client they kept making it impossible for me or my doctors office to schedule an appointment. And the Imaging department was non helpful AT ALL. I would not go here on bet after all the bullshit thank you for nothing.

I am very impressed with the emergency room care that I received. Went in after a fall downstairs. In fact had to go back again as I just was feeling worse. Two different Dr.s and they were wonderful and caring as was the complete staff. I have been there before with my husband and other family members. Thanks again to them all.

This place is disgusting! They put me into a dirty room and then have kept me waiting here! Also I had to see one of the night crews ass crack as he changed the garbage! This is bullshit! I am extremely mad right now and am calling tommorrow and making a complaint about the service here! I cant believe this!

Had two terrible experiences here. Misdiagnosis, lack of insight, and thr physician eating a sandwich while he examined my gf. No professionalism at all. As a health care professional myself I will avoid this hospital at all costs.

They take to long to see there patients i was here for 2 hours waiting and there is literally like no one else inside these rooms and we havent seen the doctor/nurse yet
