I initially came here because of the dental plan they have for those with no dental insurance. I have to say, my initial visit left such an great impression that I sent my husband here as well (dentists are right next to accountants and people who stand in front of the television on his list of least favorite people). I cannot tell you how much I loved everyone in this office. From being greeted by Jennifer the moment I walked in, the check out process with Brenda and her yes we can attitude towards everything, Brenda who took my x-rays and sat with me during my initial consult and Dr. Paternoster who is 5 star awesome. The only downside to my visits were that they told me they were filling in temporarily until the new dentist arrived and were based in Spring Hill. I was kind of bummed as I had already gotten attached and even had my Invisalign molds taken (side note, I was told that I didnt require the full Invisalign set but just a partial to correct my shifting teeth, a relief considering most dentist tend to make you feel as if you NEED to have work done when in reality you probably dont). They told me not to worry though as that the incoming doctor was just as great and to even smooth the transition, Dr. Paternoster would come into the office to see me through my Invisalign fittings. This crew has clearly set the bar high with their attentiveness to patients and positive teamwork. Hopefully the new team will be just as great.

I couldnt get past the treatment plan stage. I need alot of work. However they advertise that they accept DeltaCare insurance, but they do not accept DeltaCare rates. They talked about hidden fees or lab fees. The Insurance company said (Im paraphrasing) theyre crazy and there is no reason for them to charge double. Either they accept the rate the insurance provides or they shouldnt say they take the insurance. They wont accept anything less than double what the insurance company says I should pay. Plus, my appointment was in January. We went round and round thru February and they finally said they would contact my insurance company directly and get back with me. This is June. They never got back to me. When I got back to them they repeated the same thing. Basically theyre liars. Who knows if the dentists are any good. I couldnt get past the bureaucracy. Im switching dentists (and insurance companies)

I started bringing my kids here about 1.5 years ago and couldnt have been more happy. Unlike our previous practice, everyone is 100% professional and we are treated with respect. The waiting room is pleasant and not over crowded. The hygienist is always thourough and the dentist takes the time to say hi and answer any questions. Wait times are usually not too bad, but recently Ive had to wait 20-30 minutes after arriving on time for our appointments. One note from todays visit is the suggestion to purchase a gel for my child to use to help gingivitis. While I dont mind spending additional funds and welcome suggestions for better health care, I have personally stopped going to two other practices due to the hard sell given by staff for additional treatment or procedures. I hope this is not a change in philosophy for this location.

I called today to see if the dentist had any openings for a possible break of my filling and they fit me in the same day and flexible with my schedule. I was very veryyyyyyy nervous and anxious about going to the dentist ! I think I found my dentist who I can depend on my health and I finally feel very comfortable here. End result was I did have to get a filling and oh boy was I scared about the needle ! Well after getting the shot I have to say the worst part of this visit was the X-ray part of it lol i can never close my mouth on that thing lol The dentist name is Dr Frank Gassler and his wonderful assistant Javier. Thank you bunches for making me feel comfortable and dealing with my scared self lol you guys are awesome awesome and cant believe Im saying this but I look forward to my next visit to the dentist Dr Gassler

I am a snow bird, and unfortunately found myself with a chipped tooth. After checking on Google I decided to go to Coast Dental Dunedin and I was very happy and satisfied with my Choice! The staff at Coast Dental were very pleasant and professional.and they were able to give me an appointment within a day.The dentist, Dr.Gaby Slement was FANTASTIC! I have a huge fear of dentists and Dr.Slement not only eased my fears, she took the time to review my medical history and she explained everything she would be doing! She discovered a cavity on the chipped tooth and that was filled, painless, much to my surprise. Lucy, her assistant, was very helpful and also put me completely at ease. I would not hesitate to go back to this office,at all! Very happy with the work done. I highly recommend this dental office and Dr. Gaby Slement.

Ive been with Coast Dental for 10 years now. I love the office staff and the hygienists, but not the dentist. They changed dentists about 2 years ago and this is the reason Im leaving. Dr. Mousa is very arrogant and talked to his assistant in a rude tone. He also made a few rude comments to me that was very unprofessional. I decided to move my entire family to Dr. Kara Hourdas in Palm Harbor who Ive only heard wonderful things about. Bye Bye Coast Dental. **UPDATE** I saw Dr. Hourdas and she is AMAZING! She was horrified to see the work that was done on my filling from Dr. Mousa. He didnt tighten the band around my tooth and so the filling seeped out and caused a splinter like piece and was jabbing in my gum. This caused an infection and bone loss due to Dr. Mousas incompetence. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DENTIST!!!!!!

If you are smart enough to review your dentist before you make the leap, congrats. This "company" is more of a business then a dental service. From the second you walk in, it is an up sale type of establishment. I went in for a cleaning and 3 hours later came out and had nothing but 18 xrays taken and a cat scan. They use film instead of digital exposures I could only imagine the steps they have not taken to keep the place going. With all that being said, why would I schedule an exam? I am more worried about a cleaning and they never mentioned it would be a separate visit just for that! What a joke!! Horrible experience, now Im spending my day reviewing local dentists. Wish you my best with your search. When you think of COAST just think of Used Car lot (sorry not offend used cars salesman)

PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE! My husband came here and they told him he needed thousands of dollars of dental work. We wanted to get a second opinion since we found that hard to believe. He needed his x-rays at the new office he wanted to go to but they (Coast Dental) told him they will send it to the office and that if he wanted a printed copy he would have to pay. Every day my husband was calling Coast and the new office he wanted to go to and they never got the x-rays! FINALLY after a month (literally) of my husband calling back and fourth and him telling them he wasnt going to pay for HIS x-rays he went to the office and got his x-rays. This place wants your money, plain and simple. And if you try to go for a second opinion, you better be prepared to fight. Awful place!
