I have severe dental anxiety. As a child my parents took me to whoever was cheap and they never did a very good job. Because I hate going to the dentist I take really good care of my teeth but it had been four years since my last dentist appointment and I badly needed to get my teeth cleaned and I thought I had a few cavities. The first appointment I had l, Dr. Komara had prescribed me a Valium so I would not be very anxious. It worked but it wore off halfway through my appointment and I was shocked to find I still wasnt terrified. In fact I loved it so much, when I went to my second appointment I didnt even take the Valium. By no means is it comfortable and nobody loves going to the dentist but if you have to go to the dentist you want to go to komara. I always felt childish and now I know I just never had a really good dentist. I would recommend him to anybody and everybody and I look forward to seeing him. His staff is friendly and his office is welcoming. I dont think I would trust anyone else with my teeth.

Dr. Komara has been caring for my teeth for more than 20 years-WOW I just realized that-20 years!!! Over the years he and his staff have always been caring and professional. Chris and Kim in the office are incredibly efficient, warm, and pleasant! I love the facility, the large windows to the peaceful view of nature are soothing. The décor is tastefully elegant and comfortable. He is the first dentist that EVER checked for oral cancer years before it was suggested or trendy. The office practices are up to date while still being practical. When Sherri cleans my teeth with the ultrasonic scaler (a water driven tool) it sure beats that old feeling of scraping barnacles off a boat! Dr. Komara is reasonable with his treatment as well as pricing. Over all he is a great dentist to our entire family!

I have been in the dental field for over 45 years and recently had an emergency. Havinging just Moved up county I researched and found Dr Komara. They went above and beyond to get Me in their office ASAP and was so gentle , kind, and professional , and made me feel like I was family and so comfortable it was like I had been going there for years. Dr. Komara and his staff are the friendliest dental team I have ever met. Every single person puts you at ease no matter how nervous you might feel and they keep ensuring that you are comfortable and satisfied with their service throughout the entire visit. The offices are clean and modern and very pleasant with large windows and lush scenery to look out on from your dental chair - very relaxing indeed. Dr. Komara himself has a wonderful dental chair side manner and is very knowledgeable and competent; I know I am in good hands with him. I wouldnt recommend another dentist besides Dr. Komara and his very sweet, caring team.

Ive been going to Dr. Komara for 28 years and cant say enough good things about him and his staff. In fact, when we moved over an hour away, both my husband and I continue to go to him because its worth the drive. Whether its for a checkup, cleaning, filling a cavity, getting a crown, etc., they are professional, honest, friendly, and most importantly, Dr. Komara and his team are experts in the care of healthy teeth and gums. Im also a stickler for not using mercury/amalgam and their materials are mercury free. And their prices are fair and reasonable! Go here for your dental care, you will be a happy customer!

Dr. Stephen Komara in Dunedin, Florida is by far the best dentist I have ever seen. Immediately upon entering the practice, you are greeted by his friendly front desk employees. His office is always very neat and clean and you always feel welcome when you visit. I received a thorough cleaning and exam. Both the hygienist and Dr. Komara really took the time to explain future treatment and answered any questions I had. I would recommend Dr. Komara to anyone who is in search for a kind, honest, and compassionate dentist who truly excels in the dental field.

As great of an experience as you can have while getting a tooth extracted. On vacation and had a horrible toothache. I knew the tooth needed to be removed, but tried to put it off until after the vacation. The pain became too intense and I needed emergency care. Not only were they able to fit me into a full schedule the same day, they had me done by 11 AM. Very clean environment, very knowledgeable employees, and the Doctor was cognizant of my comfort level. I would recommend this dentist office to anyone in the area.

You are greeted when you come through the door and the staff is attentive and interested. You are a person - not just another patient - and you know it.
