I will tell you right away I have a lot of moles, therefore I have had quite a few dermatologist experiences to be able to rate accurately. I can tell you right off the bat this staff is absolutely excellent and the customer service is excellent. The place is clean and doctors are extremely nice, caring and knowledgeable. It really is the perfect place externally. Although, I am writing about what matters the most in my opinion and that is the quality of work (craftsmanship). I had a few moles removed here, all of which left much bigger scars than similar size removals at other location. but I dont want that to be the reason I rate it low. The most important mole I had removed was on my scalp and was about as big as a pencil eraser. This was about a year ago and since then my experience has been terrible to say the least. First of all, your awake during the surgery so you can sense if they are doing a quality job, well in my case you could tell by the energy and tone and urgency between the doctor and staff it did not go perfect. Anyways, I went home stitched up and the mole was removed. Over the next couple days the stitching starts to separate a little bit and it looked like a fresh gash in my head. So I went in for a check up and they said it wasnt healing because it was to moist and to reduce the antibiotic ointment I applied each day. I did as directed and went in for another check up a week later and it basically had the same look. This time she said it was infected and we did a culture. They basically told me it was 100% infected and that I needed to take an oral antibiotic right away or it could lead to serious area removal of my scalp and more surgeries. I am not a doctor, but I know not to take antibiotics unless I know for sure it is 100% infected. As you know antibiotics causes all sorts of problems in your body. I understand their urgency to take the antibiotics in this case, but I monitored the wound each day and it seemed to stay the same. The lab results came back negative and it just took a few more weeks for it to finally heal to the point it wasnt open. I am glad I didnt take the antibiotics. Anyways, when I went back for the check up, you could tell that they were concerned it did not have a nice finish. Not only did it look terrible by the size of gap of scar in my scalp, but i had some serious nerve issues going on. My next concern was there was area around the wound where the hair didnt grow back, they said it will take a while for that to happen. I went back 4 months later and the hair still didnt grow back and my scar was pretty big in itself. The scar is literally the same width of the mole that was removed. When I asked why the hair around the scar hasnt grown back, she diagnosed me with an autoimmune disease called Alopecia aerate. I immediately new right then I needed to find a new derm. My new Derm said the angle of cut in surgery cut the roots to those follicles and that is why the hair does not and will not ever grow back. So now you can imagine a scar about an inch long and the same width of a mole that was removed and now highlighted by baldness around it. You would think that was all, but it also has a milia directly in the middle of it. The reason why I actually decided to finally write a review is it still has nerve issues and discomfort in it. Again, I am only rating this on a finished product and a few experiences there. Could this happen at another place, I am sure it could. Although this is my first hand experience there and I felt it was my duty to share it for other who read reviews. I wish you luck in your search for a quality Derm. Believe it or not, The best experience and work I have had done is in some doctors office where the doctor is old and his practice is way outdated or weird. I always thought something like this would happen to me in one of those places. I definitely learned not to judge a book by its cover.

I went to see Dr. Zarraga about three months before my wedding. I didnt have any terrible scars from acne/burn/trauma on my face. But I always wanted one nice even-toned, blemish-free skin. Being in Florida for the past four years brought up all the freckles and sun spots which are darker than my skin and would annoy me a lot despite all my efforts to cover up with make-up. On my initial consultation visit, Dr. Zarraga was very patient in hearing my frustration out and was very professional and knowledgeable about what he can do to help me. Of the treatment options he offered, I decided on a laser treatment (at a very reasonable cost) to brighten my dark spots on face. He did the procedure himself as usual and made sure I remain comfortable throughout the laser session. His staff was very helpful with taking pictures, assisting, and providing me with after care instructions. Of course I had great improvement (I was soooo ready for my engagement photoshoot!!!) and went back to Dr. Zarraga for a follow-up visit. I also had other procedures done including botox injection for my overly expressive lines on face, and am very happy with his technique and the results I got. Now the wedding is over and back from honeymoon, I need to go see Dr. Z for maintaining my facial skin as youthful and as blemish-free possible. I forgot to mention that I am Asian and I feel very, very fortunate to have found someone like Dr. Z who understands how to treat the skin of color. I am definitely recommending him to my all friends and family regardless of their skin tone!!

What an outstanding experience! From the moment I walked into the sheik, clean and elegant waiting room, the courteous front desk staff Daniella met me and put me at ease. I was quickly ushered to a private exam room and discussed my concerns with expert staff. Within no time at all, Dr. Wongkittiroch met me and her bedside manner was reassuring and friendly. Her expertise with MOHS surgeries made me feel confident that I had chosen the right doctor who could address my concern, which was a scary skin growth that appeared a few months previously. I felt like I was in a high-end practice without the pretentious attitude. I also felt they were genuine and honest, and not selling me on something I didn’t need. My wife saw Dr. Zarraga for cosmetics and was equally impressed by his skill and demeanor. We are so happy we found a one-stop shop for all of our dermatologic needs.

To all my black people. Please dont go to this place. I went to this place for just a simple little darkspots in my face. My face was so light like Solange knowles or like monica. After Zarraga prescribe me the tretinion 0.05, my face become so black like wesley snipes and full of darkspot. This cream didnt do anything for me but just ruin my pretty face. Now my face is so black, wherever I go people are staring at me, i cant even look at my family in their face because I am so embarrass. Now I am praying god for my face color to get back to normal and I am using lancome dreamtone hoping this cream can do something to remove all these darkspot that tretinion cream left in my face. Worst decision I made putting this stupid cream in my face. To all my black people please stay away from this place.
