DONT BOTHER! Apparently, although they never bother to mention this to you when you make the appointment, if they dont have "live voice contact" when they call to confirm your appointment, they just cancel it. I received the standard "Im calling to confirm that XXXX has an appointment tomorrow at XXX PM" voicemail message last night when I got home from work, reminding me that my sons had an appointment scheduled for this afternoon. When I called the office this morning to verify which documents I would need to bring, they cheerfully gave me the list of documents necessary for first appointments but neglected to tell me that since they left the voicemail message and didnt actually talk to ME when they called to confirm, they just CANCELLED AND REBOOKED the appointment time. This means that when my boys dad took off work this afternoon, checked them out of school and drove the them to the dentist, they "no longer appeared on the appointment schedule".... but we were offered the opportunity to make another appointment for 2 months from now. When we asked why, we were told that too many people make appointments and then dont have the courtesy to cancel them if they dont plan to show up. We were stunned - we werent trying to cancel and we HAD shown up! .... but THANK GOD she told us that "its just their policy"... I mean, that makes it all better doesnt it?

Coast Dental Lake City is awesome! Ive never had such a pleasant dental experience. The staff was amazing. Its the little things that set this office apart such as knowing every patient by name and recalling past conversations about life events. The dental assistant, Ms. Thrasher, asked about a ladys vacation to California as she was taking her back, and Dr. Ellis greeted a patient by name without having to see a chart or sign-in sheet. My services were performed quickly but not in a rushed manner. Everything was explained carefully and all of my options were discussed. All questions were answered and I was not confused about anything that happened or needed to happen. This visit far surpassed my expectations. I definitely recommend this office.

I have been a patient of Dr Morgan Ellis at Coast Dental since 2013. The office staff are friendly, caring and most important are very professional. As a Healthcare provider myself, I feel totally confident in their care and often refer my own patients to the practice. I wouldnt think of going anywhere else for my dental care needs. Although waiting times can be annoying, patient emergencies do arise and I can assure you that if you or your family member was the one that was worked in for a dental emergency you would greatly appreciate it! And you WILL be given the same full care and attention when you are taken back. Schedule with Dr Ellis and Coast Dental, you cant go wrong!

Today I had an emergency dental situation in which I needed a tooth extraction. My insurance is Liberty Dental. I am assigned to Coast Dental in Lake City which is actually 3 hours from my house. They did not have an immediate appointment therefore I had to call around to other Coast Dental offices all around me with not much to avail.Tabitha, who works in the Lake City office, went above and beyond to help me find a dentist who accepted my insurance and could see me soon. She actually set an appointment up for me and called me back to let me know within 1 hour. Bravo Tabitha for going above and beyond...that is a commodity in this day and age!!!

I was a new patient with an emergency, they got me in the next morning. Found out I needed 4 molars extracted and am self pay....first off Leslie was amazing. Made me feel at ease. Dr. Ellis is very personable and explains everything AND writes you up an estimate before doing anything. Dr. Ellis was very light in the hand and I will recommend everyone to this office. They had my teeth out in the same visit without overcharging. Thank you Leslie, and Dr. Ellis!!!!

Care is mediocre. Office is outdated yet prices are high and they try and push the most expensive options on you. Tried to charge more than insurance copays require. Wait before being seen is ridiculously long, theres no reason a paying customers should sit in a lobby 30 minutes to an hr or more without being seen and get no apologies. Needless to say I will NOT be using them again. Id rather travel an hr to Gainesville for better care and service.

Incompetent staff. Told me the price of getting a root canal and crown, after paying for root canal at Associated Endodnist (not their fault) $275 I was to go get a crown for $185. When I went back there, they wanted me to sign a different pricing of $520 for the crown. Now the Endodnist wants an additional $200 for the work they did. If they told me it would cost $1000.00 for the one tooth I would have had it pulled.... but I belive they knew that.

This is the used car lot of dental care. This is the best description of this office and coast dental in general. They will find a way to charge more money for your care. They try to pressure you into getting cancer screenings. They call regular cleaning; deep cleaning to charge more. They use other ways to charge you more $$$$. Basically with Coast Dental its not about dental care, its all about the $$$$$.

Im 69 years old, I have had very bad experiences with dentist, but not at Coastal Dental Lake City. The staff greeted me with a smile and hello how are you today. They are very knowledgeable and helpful fast to answer any questions I asked. I will recommend Coastal Dental to all my family and friends. I look forward to my next visit at Coastal Dental. I absolutely love coming to the dentist, they are always so warm and welcoming. They comfort me and give me good information to let me know what needs to done and always follow up with me. They even call me to remind me of my appt. Which I find is extremely helpful to my busy schedule. The staff is so much fun ! I enjoy coming to the dentist !!!!!!!!! Best dentist office.

The best dental experience ever. Today was my daughters 1st appt. with them. Very polite people. I thought they were going to just do an exam and xrays since it was her first visit. But they cleaned her teeth too and did an amazing job! The cleaning gave my daughters self confidence a little boost. I finally found a great dental office for myself and my family!

I am very satisfied with Coast Dental. They are pleasant and professional. At each visit they went over exactly what was going to take place during the visit, and I knew exactly how much my out of pocket expense would be. I had to have my wisdom teeth pulled and it was painless even afterwards there wasnt any swelling. I am a very happy and satisfied customer.

The first time I walked into Coast Dental I was very nervous, because I havent been to a dentist in a few years, but let me tell you I was made to feel so welcomed and comfortable by Dr. Morgan Ellis and her wonderful Staff.
