I came to this place based on the excellent reviews on Yelp and the offer to pay $100.00 toward a $150.00 value. I called to make the appointment and spoke to Jessica, I informed her that I was intending on using the voucher toward my eye examination. She told me the exam would cost $129.00 and I would only be responsible for paying $100.00. Upon arrival, it was a bit confusing to see an apartment building but I found my way through security and parked. The optic was located on the bottom floor and the staff was pleasant. Dr. Antione Copty was very informative and friendly, however at the conclusion of the eye exam I questioned him not dilating my eyes. He told me dilation had nothing to do with the eye prescription and it would be done when I returned to pick up my glasses. Feeling uneasy about this, I urged him to conduct the dilation and he did. I went out to the waiting area to pay for the exam and was charged $129.00, I told them about the voucher while the doctor was listening in the other room, and he came out to state that the voucher was only valid toward a new pair of glasses. I emphasized the fact that I called in and spoke to the receptionist when I made my appointment and that I was told it would only be $100.00. They remained adamant about the voucher toward a new pair of glasses and refused to honor the previously discussed price or the voucher. While waiting, there was a lot of pressure on purchasing a pair of glasses with a minimum of +1.00 which I can purchase at Walgreens for $20.00. They suggested the Walgreens reading glasses wouldnt be good enough and persisted with showing me theirs. After the dilation exam, the doctor reported seeing a scar in my left eye and gave me a precise referral to an Ophthalmologist. The very next day, I scheduled an appointment through my PCP. Feeling a bit skeptical, I paid for another eye examination recommended by my father. To my dismay, the scar the Dr. saw in my left eye turned out to be a simple "eye floater" possibly there since birth. To top that off, the +1.00 prescription given, needless to say was also an inaccurate diagnosis; turns out I dont need to see a specialist and I dont need glasses either. Be very cautious of this optical, it seems like they are in the business of selling expensive glasses even if you dont need them. It seemed like I was buying a car, when I wouldnt agree with the price, they began to negotiate. You may be wondering why they have so many great reviews... They are buying Yelp reviews, they offer you a 20% discount in exchange for a Yelp review.

I decided to give Eyes on Brickell a try after having bad experiences with other optical stores in Miami. After searching online and visiting a few stores in person this was the only store where I was able to schedule an appointment on short notice. Everyone at the store was so nice, helpful, and informative. Their prices were also very reasonable and affordable. They ask for permission before dilating your eyes so make sure to let them know what you want. There is also free valet parking, which is very hard to find in Brickell. I will definitely be returning to Eyes on Brickell, they were amazing!

Dr. Copty and the entire staff of Eyes on Brickell optical boutique are very professional. They go out of their way to deliver excellent customer service. As I always visit the clinic after scheduling up the appointment, I never have to wait long for my eye check-up. The doctor provided me plenty of information about taking care of my eyes during the check-up that I never knew. Also, they have a variety of designer frames to offer you at very affordable prices. I really enjoyed my experience here and I‘d definitely recommend this eye clinic to my friends and family.

Dr.Copty is so patient and down to earth. The staff takes their job seriously and leaves no stone unturned to satisfy their clients. They understand the value of time and give timely treatment to their clients. The location is also very clean and convenient. I ordered eyeglasses and it just took a day for my glasses to be ready. Super convenient if you are living anywhere in brickell. The store is upgrading to a larger space which will do wonders for the flow in the space. The staff was very attentive and they were able to offer me extremely competitive prices for contact lenses. Little bit of a wait in the waiting room on a Saturday but otherwise I highly recommend. The fact that they are even open in weekends is a huge plus.

Dr Copty and his staff are Amazing! It was my first time getting an eye exam and his office took the time to check my insurance explain all my options and I even got my glasses same day! Cant wait to go back and buy my sunglasses! Definitely would recommend this place.
