Excellent Physician! Please do NOT believe any negative reviews. My advice is to make an informed opinion after you have personally had an appointment with Dr. Ghafoor. I have been a patient of Dr. Ghafoor for several years. She spends time with patients. She is thorough. She is firm and direct because she acts according to what is in the best interest for the patient. When I first became a patient of hers, she addressed a health concern other doctors told me to "not worry about because I hadnt reached 40 years of age." However, considering my family history, I explained my concerns to Dr. Ghafoor, she listened, she took appropriate action, which I believe may have saved my life. I am very happy and blessed to have Dr. Ghafoor as my physician. Words cant adequately describe her professionalism and excellent care she provides. She is paramount! A+ doctor. The correlation between the negative reviews, spelling errors, poor grammar, incorrect capitalization, et cetera is very interesting. It appears the favorable submissions are written in proper English, whereas the negative submissions are pervaded with errors. Consider the source! The implication is the negative reviews result from patients anger and closed-mindedness. Respect and decency are twofold. Its imperative patients also act appropriately whilst in the waiting room & during exam. Patients need to understand there are limitations as to what health care providers can and cannot prescribe given the realms of state oversight/documentation/regulation. Perhaps some people have misinterpreted Dr. Ghafoors "sharp tone" as "rude," yet that is NOT her intention! Working in a busy environment and trying to timely accommodate patients may contribute to "quickness in her voice." She is not intentionally rude. Dr. Ghafoor is very "matter of fact" and professional. I admire her and respect her as a doctor. Big smile & thanks! from patient, Jennifer Dixon : )

I have a few serious health problems so Im at the doctor constantly. Ive been to Ghafoor over 30 times. Every time Everyone in the waiting room is always very angry and says they cant wait until there insurance lets them change doctors. The Wait time is always 2-3 hours.she is Rude and extremely disrespectful. Not professional at all. She is very judgmental not at all understanding and caring as a doctor should be. I had brain surgery and was going through a lot at the time i was very emotional and depressed about being crippled in my mid 20s I broke down in her office 2 weeks after a very rough and painful surgery and she told me to get over myself and was horrible I ran out of her office crying my husband couldnt believe it. He is my caregiver and sees what Im going through and wanted to cone in her office and flip on her but I wouldnt let him. She is the worst doctor please if your thinking about going to this woman GO ANYWHERE ELSE! These 5 star reviews must be from her or her staff because every single time I come here every patient is complaining about how theyve waited over 2 hours in her filled waiting room and how terrible she is!

Dr. Ghafoor has been my primary doctor for 2 years now. I dont find her rude, she is very direct which I appreciate. I dont need to be molly coddled, I need a knowledgeable and capable physician who actually takes the time to review lab results and symptoms without that sugar coated way of many doctors who beat around the bush. Tell it like it is! I read one review that said she is a "pill mill" which is laughable. Shes extremely careful about prescribing controlled medications. I get the impression that some of the negative reviews are because she does NOT prescribe controlled medications unless she feels it is absolutely necessary and then on a short term basis only. She also owns her own practice, which is very important to me. Large health corporations disgust me for many reasons. My only reason for 4 out of 5 stars is because of the wait time. I do appreciate that she takes her time with patients, but perhaps she should not schedule so many in a day. And Im NOT one of her office staff, I am a patient. Period.

Horrible!!!! I just came from her office. Not only was I waiting 2 hours but when she came in the room didnt say hello just said WITH HORRIBLE ATTITUDE Why are you here. When I said 3 words she chimes in and says, I DONT HAVE TIME FOR THIS. Im 19 weeks 6 days pregnant and was told to see my primary by my obgyn. After yelling at me about having to and I quote "Waste her time" she told me there is nothing she can do about my prescriptions because she doesnt again "need this right now". Proceeded to get in my face when I told her she was being rude and there was no need for it. Then threatened to call the police if I didnt leave her office! HORRIBLE PERSON. SHOULD NOT BE IN MEDICINE OOINT PLANK PEROID!!

This Dr is absolutely the most rude, obnoxious, and ignorant Dr Ive ever met in my life! She always has a horrible attitude and takes it out on her patients! My husband went to her for his follow up after spraining his foot and to refill his anxiety medicine and she was acting like he was drug seeking! He was in a car accident and his anxiety has been horrible since and she definitely made it worse we will be reporting her and NEVER returning! BEWARE OF THIS HORRIBLE DOCTOR!!!

BEWARE!!!!! DON´T GO TO THIS DOCTOR!!!! SHE DISCRIMINATES AGAINST DISABLED PEOPLE AND SHE THREATENS YOU TO ONLY SEE HER!! IAM A DISABLED PERSON THAT WENT TO HER OFFICE FOR THE FIRST TIME AND THE WAIT WAS HORRIBLE! BESIDES THAT, IN THE FIRST FEW SECONDS THE FIRST QUESTION SHE ASKED WAS" WHY ARE YOU DISABLED?" AND THEN STARTED ASKING PERSONAL QUESTIONS THAT ARE NOT RELEVANT TO THE OFFICE VISIT. DONT WASTE YOUR PRECIOUS TIME WITH THIS PERSON THAT CALLS HERSELF A DOCTOR!

Have I always wanted to be in her office no. Primarily due to the long wait. I use to feel offended by her personality but I am glad that I gotten to know how she deals with her patients. I now believe she truly cares and wants what is best for them and I am so glad I continued my health challenges with her. She is one of the best doctor I have dealt with and this is why I continue to travel from another county to wait on her passionate and professional services.

Piece of S**T Doctor. She talks down to and belittles her patients. She refuses to treat and prescribe the necessary medications needed. If you go to her with a condition, illness, or any sort of medical issue, she will basically call you a liar. DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT and I seriously mean from the bottom of my heart DO NOT GO TO DR. GHAFOOR. This woman has no business practicing medicine. She is a low life piece of scum. BEWARE.

Spoke badly about another patient to me, as well as yelling at a nurse from the hospital during what was supposed to be my alloted time in her office, after a 2 hr wait. Shes rude. Uncaring. Speaks about you to her assistant as if your not even in the room. Will I be reporting her? Absolutely. Her staff was always nice...i will give them that.

Dr. Ghafoor does not really care about her patients well being. She has an issue with HIV positive patients, and turns her nose down at them. Her attitude is less than desirable, and she refuses to listen to patient issues, considers every fact a lie.
