This review is for Dr Miranda, as I havent experienced Dr Ortegas work which is more orthodontic, and I havent needed it yet. But they are in practice together and Im sure its comparable. Dr. Miranda is professional with a great chair-side manor. Ive had 2 crowns done and he knows how to use their state-of-the-art software and crown-making machine. He will actually show you what hes doing while working on the design of your bite. Crowns are made on the spot and instead of waiting a month with a temp, its ready in about 45 minutes. There is NO sloppy impression goo that you have to bite into (which I hate.) Also, every time he numbs my mouth, there is absolutely no discomfort. He knows how to make it a painless experience. He has also arranged a doable treatment plan that no one else could offer - other dentists just wanted to pull my teeth. Ive had a lot of dental work done over the last 50 years and Ive finally found a practice that knows their stuff. This isnt a corporate office so you know these guys will be around to always give you great care.

I never thought Id hear myself saying this (always had a fear of dentists, dentistry, etc) but I have had nothing but very positive experiences at this practice. Appointments can be easily arranged -- in an "emergency" its on the spot and once appointment is made those on line reminders are GREAT. The office staff never fails to put you at ease and is always caring and helpful. Dr. Mirandas skills amaze me -- professional and he always walks you through every procedure and answers any/all questions giving no hint that you might be the millionth person to ask the same question. Never rushed or impatient, never the slightest pain or discomfort and always pleased with the result. I tell his staff that hes a god cause if you can get me to return after a procedure (I REALLY dont like pain) youre better than good. Highly and often recommend this practice to friends and anyone who needs a dentist!!

Dr. Miranda is WONDERFUL. I was nervous about getting a new dentist after moving here from Colorado. A friend of mine recommended Dr. Miranda and Im so thankful she did. I recently had to have a root canal and was extremely nervous. Dr. Miranda took an extra X-ray before beginning the procedure and decided I only needed some decay removed and put on a crown. He is so ahead of other dentists I have been to with a digital procedure to make my crown. No gummy mess in my mouth and having to come back again. In about 15 minutes, I had my brand new crown and it is the best fitting crown I have ever had. Thank you Dr. Miranda!!!

Highly recommend. I moved from Miami to NSB 5 years ago and was concerned with finding a new dentist, especially after going to the same one for over 40 years. Then I come to find out Dr. Miranda interned at my dentists office in Miami! Small world. Ive had a couple of crowns and the usual dental work since moving to NSB, and Im happy to say Dr. Miranda (and Dr. Ortega!) have successfully carried on the torch. Theyre knowledgeable, professional (with some laughs thrown in), and dont hurt me! Even my 95 year old father comes from Lake Placid, FL to go to Dr. Miranda, he liked him that much. I only have good things to say.

Coming from out of town I needed a new dentist. I found Dr. Miranda through a friends recommendation. I believe that word of mouth referrals are always the best. I was able to get an appointment within 1 week. The office was professional, and I didnt have to wait long in the office. All of the staff took great care of me. I actually thought I would need a bunch of fillings, but Dr. Miranda after taking X-Rays told me that my fillings were fine and didnt want to do a unneeded procedure. All in all, a A1 business.

This dental group was so wonderful to our family. As we primarily live overseas, they worked around our limited and ever changing schedule. Their early hours were so helpful and they were very responsive, incredibly kind and accommodating, but most importantly good, and professional. They were also incredible with kids! I never thought my sons would not only enjoy the dentist, but asked if they could go back the next day! I rarely write reviews but believed it important to recognize a really good practice!

Our entire family goes to Dr Miranda and Dr Ortegas office in New Smyrna Beach, FL. They are one of the best dentists we have ever had, not to mention wonderful and honest people. They have never done unnecessary dental work that we didnt need unlike other dental chain offices weve had unpleasant experiences with. They also take great care of my kids dental needs making this practice family friendly all around! Also, if you need braces this is the place to go. Highly recommend!! :)
