They booked two separate appointments for each for my two girls well in advance that put the appointment into the next year. They remind you by message about the appointment, but very close to the date, while it was my responsibility that I forgot about the appointments and it was a schedule conflict with my work, I couldnt make it. I called to cancel the one, but the message came after I got out of work for the other one and the office was closed. Anyway, they sent me a letter about how they were going to "drop" me from the practice because of how important THEIR time is and continued to berate me about how my daughters teeth had to be seen in 30 days by another Dr. I think the letter is ridiculous, I dont care if I give my money to another Dr. (We have been going to SS ever since my girls started going to the dentist!) The letter didnt speak volumes about how you care for my baby girls teeth, just about YOUR time. What about my time when you triple book your dentist and we wait there while she goes back and forth between 3 kids? Do better!

This office is really wonderful, i NEVER been in a dentist office with so warm and kind staff.and Dr Kristing is like out of this world ,she is amazing with the kids,my daughter( 4 years old) needed a complex treatment and since we open the doors the experience was unbelievable,the doctor took the time to go to the waiting room ( that is incredible ) to meet my daughter ,to talk with me and with her, about her condition and treatment she is very kind,my daughter hugs her and kiss her with a lot of confidence ( and she had a very bad experience before in an office in Palm bay road)..and even in the treatment room everything is very peacefull,clean,inviting and very comfortable for the childrens ..I really recomend this office i visits a lot "pediatrics dentist offices in brevard county and in Orlando but sunshine smiles is the best of the best...no doubt about it...100 %

This office is amazing!!! My nine-year old started here since Sunshine Smiles Day 1! We drive all the way from Orlando to see Dr. Kristin! From your first entrance, you know you are not in a typical dentist practice. Your kids will be thrilled to hang out here. There is a gameroom off the main waiting area so the kids are occupied with Xbox, books or movie-time until they are seen. The staff is the most friendly I have ever seen and make it a pleasure for the kids. While my son was getting worked on, he was watching his favorite movie on the ceiling mounted TVs. I have never heard of a kid this happy to go to the dentist. Thanks Dr. Kristin!

AWESOME! Just moved to the area and found this pediatric dentist office online. The staff and all correspondence including emails and text were both friendly and professional. The warm welcome from the office staff and Dr. Kristen was great! I am so excited about the great service and treatment that my daughter will receive from this office. I loved the fact that Dr. Kristen and her assistant educated and explained every step of their service and treatment to my 6 year old daughter and me from beginning to end. It was my daughter’s first dentist visit and she was so comfortable and is now looking forward to her next visit in 6 months.

I would not take my children anywhere else! We moved to the area 3 years ago and were referred to this office by friends. Our oldest was in dire need of a good pediatric dentist as she has a multitude of dental issues from being a preemie. Another dentist from upstate NY wanted to pull her adult molars out before we relocated to FL. Im so glad that we held off on doing anything with her teeth until after the move. Dr. Alvarez and Dr. Kristin were able to identify my daughters problems and they saved her molars! They both have a calm and sincere approach with kids and parents. We are so thankful that we found Sunshine Smiles!

Dr. Kristins office was a great experience from start to finish! The receptionists were friendly and answered my insurance questions. The office was clean and totally kid friendly, my sons loved it! You could tell her staff was experienced and parents themselves...they handled my boys perfectly. Colton & Camden did great, I was shocked. But I guess this is why you bring your kids to a Pediatric Dentist instead of my adult dentist. They were true professionals and Dr. Kristin couldnt have been more enthusiastic and passionate about what she does.

Dr. Kristin was so great with my kids and so explanatory too! She took the time to go over each one of their x-rays with us (I have 4 so it can be a handful). She explained to the kids in detail what they should and shouldnt be doing. She took the time to show me why some of their previous dental care was probably going to have a negative impact on them and how we would fix it! She is awesome!! I would recommend her to anyone with children.

We cant say enough about Sunshine Smiles! The office is peaceful, clean, and has a state-of-the-art waiting room with video games for the kids. The entire staff is so warm & friendly, and Dr. Kristin is just amazing with our daughter! It takes a special kind of person to care for toddlers, and she is so patient and gentle. We highly recommend Sunshine Smiles!

Received the wrong information about my insurance (ppo plan)from front desk manager. Had to pay a fortune out of my pocket for a routine check up for my kids. Office refused to help afterwards with any adjustments . Make sure they are in your network or you will be paying more than you should for just a check up . What a shame!

Awesome Staff and great dental service for kids! i wouldnt go anywhere else. they allow the parents to go back with the kids while they are performing dental work. Dr. Alvarez is great at working with kids, very friendly and manages to get the kids feel comfortable. I wish all drs office were as good as this place.
