This center is awesome. Every person who works here seems to be super knowledgeable, helpful , friendly and totally professional. By the time I left there after my first visit I felt like Id just been tended to by the dream team of Dentistry! First off, Dr Edwards and his staff actually took time with me! The appointment took longer than Im accustomed to but I received 100% great service with attention to my comfort while I was waiting and the most detailed exam I have ever had. The staff definitely did not hustle me in and out of there, like Ive been used to in the past. Ive been to several dentists over the years who just popped in at the end of a cleaning, poked around in my mouth for 5 seconds, said "Looks Good" and rushed out to see the next patient. Next thing I knew, I lost a tooth from damage I didnt know I had! Now that Ive been to Smile Design I will never go anywhere else again. Members of the staff really spent time getting to know my history before I saw the Dr. Then Dr. Edwards gave me a comprehensive new patient exam assessing my bite, wear patterns, gum health, jaw muscles and just about everything Ive never had anyone bother to spend time on before. He examined me using a high powered microscope and found pockets of decay just starting and chips, cracks and even fractures that werent yet visible to the human eye. I could see for myself what he could see because he has a big monitor on the ceiling that projects what hes looking at and he points it out as he goes. He showed me where my bite was causing damage and wear to my teeth. He broke everything down for me in terms of priority and necessity, habit changes and also talked about things that I could do that were more cosmetic in nature. He told me which issues were emergent and went over plenty of options to address them. No doubt in my mind Dr Edwards and his staff are in it to heal-holistically and they know what theyre doing! They looked at everything with the goal of getting to the root cause of the issues in my mouth. Im incredulous that this is not the standard of care everywhere for dentists in this country . Hes out of network with my insurance company but they still picked up parts of it. As for the rest, he was worth every penny. After seeing all the things this dentist found and the other dentists missed (and even created in some cases) Smile Design and Wellness Center is a no-brainer, The icing on the cake was the awesome and detailed cleaning I received afterwards. I even learned how to floss my teeth differently after 40 years! Highly Recommended

The office staff and Dr. Edwards were amazing; very friendly, caring, understanding, helpful, and professional. I was most impressed with the their understanding of the newer technology they use (especially Dr. Edwards knowledge), and how to use it with proven methods of dentistry to better evaluate and fix dental issues. I am a 6 foot 2 inch cry-baby when it comes to getting my teeth worked on, and Dr. Edwards was more than impressive at making sure I stayed within my comfort level. On top of that, my first meeting with Dr. Edwards (after the obligatory paperwork) was within a respectable time of my scheduled appointment, and the meeting was with the Dr. and his assistant in a very cozy private lounge area -- that alone was a very impressive start. Notwithstanding the cozy private lounge, the assistant and Dr. Edwards were very thorough for both my concerns, and how they could best meet them -- awesome first impression. Second impression was in the "chair"! Although there isnt TV to watch while in the lay back position, I did like the music (I dont like country or pop), and the scenery. Nevertheless, there isnt much time for television watching in a dentists office anyway. My condition, and predicaments required quick, and under most circumstances, untimely help, but Smile Design Center was very helpful and understanding of my situation, and was able to take me in as a new patient in a very short time frame. Taking the advice of a new co-worker (me being the new person in town), I went to Design Smile Center based on that referral, and my criteria being a technologically advanced (modern) dentistry, and a dentist that is good with a needle. I found that true, as did my referral, and I highly recommend anyone to Dr. Edwards, Smile Design Center.

Yesterday Dr Edwards and his staff...especially his assistant miss Ruthie!!!! saved my smile and my pocketbook again!!! He replaced a leaking crown from a previous dentist and repaired the two adjacent teeth that were being decayed by the leaking crown...saved me tons of money that I would have had to pay for future extensive restorations and probably a couple root canals eventually.... They were so attentive and concerned about my comfort...Ruthie constantly made sure I was OK... Homeopathic dentistry coupled with the latest technology made the visit perfect. It says alot about a dentist that you can actually doze in the chair with the music in my headset and the lavender scented oils they provided! I really love this group!!! Dr Edwards calls himself a forever learner...which means he is always on top of technology!! ...the latest and greatest equipment. He saved my sons tooth because of the laser technology he had invested in...Other dentists, limited to old fashioned techniques and technology had weighed in previously and their prognosis was grim. Dentistry is not just a job for this office......its their passion! And that makes a huge difference in the care that their patients get...They really do care. The whole office staff is so wonderful...including Dr Brown whose new to the office...(though not new to dentistry! ) Yvette Gioia

I cant imagine there being a better Dentist office anywhere around us. The reception staff is amazing. Always kind and professional. Extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the office. The hygienists and dental assistants are the best Ive ever witnessed and truly try to make the dreaded trip to the dentist the smoothest, most comfortable experience they can. The dentists have no equals near by. Dr Brown is highly skilled in the art of biologic dentistry and can make the most nervous patient calm. Dr Edwards literally wrote the book in this style of dentistry and continues to stay on top of the latest techniques he can employ to make his patients lives easier. Blown away by this place!!!

The website says, "EMAIL US We Will Respond Swiftly". I sent 2 e-mails with questions. Not one response. Smile Design & Wellness Center seems to be high-tech and high quality, though. Update: Changed to 4 stars from a lower rating. I have sent many questions to Smile Design & Wellness Center, and I have received many responses. I dont think every response is 100% satisfactory to me, but the staff does respond quickly. I dont think every question is answered satisfactorily to me, but this dental office may be the best in America. I have looked at many, and this Smile Design & Wellness Center is really high on my list. The staff is great and very nice, & Dr. Edwards seems superb.

This dental office scores a perfect 10! Dr. Edwards is the most comprehensive, skilled and caring professional. I have had good dentists through my life (and bad ones); however, no one can compare to Dr. Edwards and his associate, Dr. Bunker. They were the best before they became educated and certified in Biologic Dentistry. If you are not seeking a Biologic Dentist, at least google educate yourself on it and you will probably be seeking one soon. Then make a visit to Dr. Edwards at Smile Design Center on Devereaux Drive.
