I was in such terrible pain. I could not lie flat, I could hardly walk. I had taken steroid injection, steroid pills, pain meds, gone to mri, xray, ortho, chiro.....I was afraid I would be crippled forever! I spent each day lying on the couch trying not to aggravate the pain any more than it was. At my first visit to Sport and Spine, Ryan diagnosed my condition properly for the first time and after that first treatment I could walk more normally and my pain was greatly reduced and in certain areas my pain was gone completely. I am so grateful to Dr. Ryan. I feel blessed everyday and I am getting my life back. Walking is really important! Even getting in the car to try to find someone to help me was painful. I am confident that I will return to full function soon and I cannot say enough positive things about the benefits I have received. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

I have only been with Dr. Ryan Whelton for a short time, however Im confidant in the progress Im making with my TMJ issue! Im much more advanced than if I had followed the Oral Surgeons recommendation! Dr. Wheltons knowledge & expertise in the field of Physical Therapy & Reflexive Pattern Therapy is helping improve my TMJ after only a week and a half! The addition of the Cold Laser Therapy helps maximize the results by accelerating your own healing process. This sure beats a surgical alternative! Jose & Cherie are an awesome asset to the Sport & Spine Physical Therapy & Wellness Center in addition to Dora, the Therapy dog who greets me with a smile & a wagging tail very morning! Thanks to this outstanding crew at SSPTWC Im looking forward to feeling my best real soon!

I am an endurance runner and triathlete and had pulled my groin severely in my last Half Iron race. My doctor said it would take 6-8 weeks to heal and they healed it in 3 weeks at Sport and Spine Physical Therapy. I did three intensive weeks of physical therapy combined with the laser therapy. The staff at Sport and Spine are experienced and kind. They will spend time with you and also listen to your problems with your injury. I had gone to another physical therapy center and wasnt happy with my experience as they tried to get me in and out in 20 minutes. It is like going to a credit union versus a big bank. I would highly recommend Sport and Spine Physical Therapy and the laser treatment to anyone who has an injury.

Dr. Whelton and his team are fantastic! They were able to change my perception about physical therapy. My neck and back pains drastically reduced after I was undergoing reflexology and PNF with Dr. Whelton. They have a very welcoming and peaceful environment. Furthermore, you can tell Dr. Whelton and his team are dedicated to their patients and really care about them. I do not regret coming here as my pains have reduced if not non-existing and I have gained a family as well. I will recommend their services to anyone because they are that good!!! Due to their amazing services, I am also taking my elderly mum for treatment there. Thanks guys!!!

Sport & Spine Physical Therapy has been great towards my recovery. I feel able and ready to start my next football season with not if the same strength in my leg as before, but even more. The staff is outgoing and awesome showing care in providing services, creating a very friendly atmosphere for all patients making communication easy for a smooth rehabilitation. This facility is great. They maintain a certain cleanliness and are organized with all equipment. Dr. Ryan has treated me for multiple issues from car accidents, and I am pain free after each visit! The staff are friendly and supportive, and Dora will be sure to have a smile on your face if the alleviated pain doesnt. Dr. Ryans Method is noninvasive and promotes healing in addition to the exercises he gives you to continue with. The atmoshpere is welcoming and friendly, just as everyone who works there as well. I would recommend Dr. Ryan to anyone who is experiencing any sort of pain, whether chronic or periodic!! His results show and hes eager to help in any way to can to get you feeling 100% again!

I came to Sport and Spine Physical Therapy with a lot of pain in my low back and hips, as well as, poor flexibility in my hips. After just four weeks my pain has been reduced by 90% and my flexibility in my hips is increasing daily. Dr. Whelton is very dedicated to each individual and the custom exercises he teaches are so amazing. The laser treatment that Jose administers is a pain miracle. It is so refreshing to have someone like Dr. Whelton who tells you he can help you and actually does. My quality of life has been improved far beyond my expectations. If it was not for Ryan I would not have been able to make it through my senior year in college and then on to play in the NFL. I had a ton of injuries; knee pain, torn cartilage, back pain, contusions, severe strains, neck pain and ankle pain to name a few. Using that Reflexive Pattern Therapy as part of his physical therapy any pain I had he could take away in minutes better than any shot, drug or other physical therapist and trainer in the NFL or College I came across. Thanks Ryan for your dedication to get me back on the field, I couldnt have done it without you!

I was dealing with chronic patella tendonitis for over a year before coming to Ryan at Sport and Spine. I could not go down stairs without discomfort but after 10 sessions of physical and laser therapy I was pain free. Im able to not only go Down stairs pain free but also able to return to sports at a high level as if I never had the injury. On top of that the staff was Great they make you feel right at home. I recommend Sport & Spine Physical Therapy & Wellness Center to anybody looking to return to good health and be yourself again.

I originally went to them for my back which is doing awesome! what i was most impressed with though is their Migraine Headache and TMJ program.....I had no idea physical therapist could help me with this. My PT told me he specializes in Migraines and TMJ. Everytime I went in with a Migraine he took it away in like 5 mins! My jaw pain and headaches were totally gone in 2 weeks because he showed me how to get rid of them for good, so I did not have to go back all the time and pay all kinds of money!......AMAZING!

After having ACL reconstructive surgery I was lucky to find Sport and Spine within close proximity to my home. Ryan is very knowledgable and guided me throughout the entire rehab process that took a couple of months. He help me get my full range of motion and strengthen my muscles as well as getting my agility back. Everyone was very encouraging and I was able to get back to playing the sports I love and my knee feels better than ever! The whole staff is awesome and friendly. I would highly recommend!
