This place is a joke. If i could give a zero rating I would. My 1st appointment was on Thursday the 26th 2017. First during check in they had my address wrong which is not a big deal. I simply corrected it. Then I waited atleast 2 hours to be seen. When I go to check out I scheduled my next appointment for February 15, 2017 at 1:15pm. I get home and notice that my reminder card that I was given for my next appointment did not have my name on it, but a different patients name. I called the number listed on the green paper given and it went to the davenport office which is where all the calls seem to go. I gave my name and advised of what happen. The lady on the line goes "I have nothing scheduled in for you"..Obviously not since it was not scheduled under my information in the 1st place. I once again explain what had happened and gave the name listed on my paper. Anyways we ended up scheduling my appointment for February 16th at 10:45am..On 1/27/17 I went by CVS to pick up my prescription of High blood pressure medication which was discussed during my time with Mrs. Allison. The medication I had been prescribed WAS NOT CORRECT! The medication I picked up was for (GERD) which is something that was never spoken of during my appointment. I tried calling the office Friday, but they where closed. So I called today Monday 30th and get swtiched to the Winter Haven office to speak with a nurse. She tells me that my appointment that I schduled for 2/16/17 is nonexistent and kept asking was I sure I went to the Winter Haven office. How can this place still be running?! No one cares that first off the staff is just down right rude! No one seems to be able to do their job! And now they are prescribing medication incorrectly!! I will be finding a different doctor to see me during this pregnancy, but this organization needs to be investigated!

Worse experience ever. They rescheduled me twice because they couldnt figure out their own vacation schedule. I didnt get in until I was 18 weeks pregnant, and even then they couldnt diagnose me as pregnant. The doctor was pleasant enough, but the staff couldnt be any more rude. They called me to prescribe me an antibiotic and I tried calling them back for three days to get it filled and answer my questions. I was hung up on and told they were very busy and I didnt understand because I was never this busy. I finally went in and the nurse that had to answer my questions sighed and rolled her eyes and threw down her phone that she was on when I came in. She was in the middle of updating her Facebook profile. She then proceeded to FIGHT with me until I cried about something unrelated, telling me I was a bad mother because I was physically could not drink water for the first 19 weeks of pregnancy, something I had already discussed with the doctor to try to find the best resolution. I talked to other people in the ob/gyn business and several people call this place "Heart of Hell" because of the staff other than the doctors. I left and went to Dr. Lemert out of Celebration OB/GYN and Davenport and he is AMAZING!!!! I would not send anyone to Heart of Hell OB/GYN.

This is the worst obgyn Ive ever been to. If you have the option to go anywhere else, GO. DO NOT COME HERE. Theyre rude and definitely non professional. I have only been once when I was 10 weeks pregnant and they have been nothing but problems. I live in Lakeland and this was my only option for pregnancy care because Im considered high risk and also overweight. After my first appt, they cancelled my follow up appt on me when I was 5 minute from their office so I wasted my gas to go out there for nothing because apparently I was suppose to bring an ultrasound that I never had. So then they scheduled me an ultrasound and they cancelled my appt to get the ultrasound twice on me and then when I finally got the ultrasound scheduled I call back to get a doctor visit finally from these people at 19 weeks pregnant and they say Ive been non compliant and they can no longer take me, when they were the ones for me not being able to come. So now I have no where else to go for my pregnancy because of their ignorance and their mistakes. This is the worst place ever. I wouldnt recommend this for pregnancy to my worst enemy. Please save yourself and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

2 horas esperando para que mi esposa fuera atendida hasta ella agotarse y decidir irse sin ser atendida no le recomiendo este lugar a ninguna mujer ellos perdieron la sensibilidad con las embarazadas no saben lo agotada que están y te lo hacen más difisil no es un buen lugar para ir espero sirva mi comentario del lugar para que no pasen una mala experiencia y no some tan a sus esposas a estrés como ese

Im still shaking my head after my visit. Ive been using HOF for 20 plus years and I will not be returning. 1st my issues werent addressed. 2nd the procedure I requested was not performed and 3rd Dr Alkass gave me the impression that he couldnt get rid of me fast enough. Im extremely disappointed in the treatment I received from the Dr and his nurse. After waiting 30+ mins after my scheduled appointment time the Dr spent less than 5 mins in the room. Im livid that after driving 80+ miles I was treated like a nobody. I know that Dr San Martin would be humiliated if knew how a business that he started is now not worthy enough to treat an animal. If I could rate 0 stars I would.

I love the doctors and midwives. But the ultrasound tech is horible everytime ive gotten a ultrasound she has been so dam rude and un concerned and she wont even let you see the screen. She has made every experience with my second child absolutely horrible and upsetting. She charges $75 dollars for gender check and when you pay she supposed to be 5 min well she took like 1 min ans didnt even let me see the baby !!!! all she gives you is disks (no pictures) and if you have any questions she answers them like a smartass or no answer at all. If heart of florida wants happy patients they need to fire her and hire somebody who will have respect for there patients !

I read a previous review complaining about the ultrasound tech and I would like to echo their thoughts. Seeing the baby on the ultrasound machine should be a happy experience, and the parents like to be assured that the anatomy is fine and that everything is OK. She was very cold about the whole experience and wouldnt even tell us the gender. We finally said, "OK, well pay the $75 (even though we were mad about it) and she said "you have to come back and make a separate appointment for that." What the HECK!? This was DURING THE ULTRASOUND!! FIRE THIS ULTRASOUND TECH AND STOP CHARGING TO TELL PARENTS THE GENDER!!!

If you have a choice, dont go here. The financial policies are totally absurd. The do not tell you up front, but they want you to start paying for their labor and delivery fees before you are even three months along, and they will not see you unless you agree to their payment terms. When I reacted with surprise at being told this on my second visit, both the office staff and the billing lady in Davenport acted like I was the crazy one for objecting to paying for services more than 6 months before they could possibly be rendered. At that point I decided to find another doctor.
