My daughter went to this dentist, in the beginning I thought they were good however I didnt like their policy that a parent cant go back with their child except on the first visit that was a cleaning. After the last visit my daughter will never be returning to this dentist. As we pull in the parking lot my daughter and get out of the car and I hear what I think it a child screaming. This gave me a horrible uneasy feeling. My daughter went back for her appointment, they informed me that one of her teeth needed to be pulled because of the start of an abscess. I agree to it. I was heartbroken when my daughter came out and told me how bad it hurt and she couldnt tell anyone because they had instruments in her mouth. It makes me so upset to think that my daughter was in pain and nobody did anything. Also every time I was there the office staff were very gossipy. Not appropriate at all. Please people read the reviews and consider them before taking your children to this dentist. I have now found a dentist that allows parents to go back every visit with their child and I feel that is important. I know that I can speak for my child when she is not able too. Every dentist should want their patients and their families to feel safe and be able to trust them... even if that means allowing parents to go back with their children.

My daughters have been going to Dr. Ellis for years for their dental cleanings. Initially, there were no complaints but as my daughters got older, incidents started occurring. The dental assistants and hygienists spend all of their time backbiting and gossiping and not paying attention to what they are supposed to be doing to the pediatric patients (i.e. cleaning their teeth, fillings, etc). My daughters have been repeatedly poked unnecessarily with sharp instruments because of this negligence. Not only do children not need to be injured for these reasons, they do not need to be exposed to this type of unprofessional behavior. Just today (09/01/2015) my daughter was getting fillings and had to listen to the staff in the back backbite another staff member who was absent today. Calling her stupid, saying she should just quit, etc. Again, completely unprofessional. I will not be returning to this office, I have filed a complaint with the ADA, and I am leaving poor reviews on every site I can. This unprofessionalism must not be ignored! How can we expect children not to bully each other in school when they cant even go to the dentist without being exposed to this behavior?!

First off our very first appointment was at 830. We got there at 815. We werent called back until 850 and having two kids 3 and 1 1/2 thats just a little ridiculous to me. Well even at those ages after the first visit the parent isnt allowed to go back with them. Which Im not comfortable with at all. But when we got back there he kept calling my daughter a him. Never explained anything to her on what was going on...remind you this was her first time. The exact same thing happened to my son. It just wasnt a good experience.

This is a fantastic practice. All 3 of my children are seen at Ellis Pediatric Dentistry. The staff is always attentive and friendly when we walk in the door. Dr. Ellis is great with our kids. All 3 of my kids have diverse dental needs and they have all been treated with professionalism. All 3 kids hop up and head back to see the dentist when their names are called. They also love the Legos. I would highly recommend this dental practice.

Ive been taking my boys here for about 6-7 years and I havent had any issues with Dr. Ellis or any of his staff. They have always been so welcoming to me and my family. Ive recommended his office several times over the years and will continue to recommend. Best dentist I havent ever taken my boys too. Keep up the good work Dr. Ellis and staff.

My daughter has had 3 appointments over the past year and a half. Every time she goes in alone she comes out with a smile and shes 2. I have never had a problem with the staff or ever had to question if my daughter was receiving excellent care. If they werent excellent at what they do I doubt my daughter would be smiling when she comes out.
