Best. Decision. EVER! Dr. P has literally saved me from a double hip replacement! I had been waddling around for over two years with osteoarthritis (in my hips), diabetes and thyroid issues. I am a 49 year old mom of three kids (15, 14 and 9) and I commute from Schererville to downtown Chicago as an IT Professional who is always on the go. On my first visit, Dr. P used this magical tech to scan and measure the tension in my back. This technology instantly displayed the status of the stress on my back, on his monitor in a color coded graphic that was easy for me to understand. Green is good, Red is bad. My entire back was RED, meaning all the muscles were in full spasm! No wonder I could barely walk! If that wasnt enough, he examined me further and drew up an extremely detailed treatment plan, customised for me. Just reading his narrative validated what I knew to be true, but it is something about having a health professional who empathized with the pain I was going through, without the suggestion of undergoing immediate surgery that made me realize that the several months of being prepped for surgery as if that were my only option, suddenly opened up a mountain of possibility. Since my stupid HMO wasnt going to cover any of the treatments, I was saved again, with the extremely reasonable cash prepayment options further discounted with the small price of participating with their partner, ChiroHealthUSA. As a single mom of three, being able to take advantage of the package deal and in less than two (2) yes, you read correctly LESS than 2 months, I feel like a completely new person! I have to give a special point of recognition to Natalie, for her patience with me on the phone, where she took the time to explain the payment plan which at the time I did not understand, but let me tell you on this side of the experience, it was worth EVERY penny and more! I am so freaking glad that I made the sacrifice and purchased the pre-paid package, because treatment was worry-free after that. What price can you really put on feeling better? All of this is without me totally complying with exercises (ok, I do like maybe half of what I am supposed to) and having to cancel sessions here and there (I slept through one, and Natalie simply called and rescheduled me with no repercussion--true professionals, I promise you)! With Dr. P, I got way more than I expected; I have visited several chiropractors over my life, but never got anything more than chiropractic adjustments. Dr. Pauns treatment plan delivered, Physical Therapy, Supervised Exercise, STIM [heat], along with gentle chiropractic adjustments. Dr. Paun is awesome with improving the human condition, but he is really in the business of giving people HOPE! In the face of everyone I know begging me to go under the knife at 49, and the pain of needing two total hip replacements, Paun Chiropractic is nothing short of a miracle! I am meditating, and doing yoga and moving in ways that I thought I never would. Co-workers ask me if I went and had the surgeries and are shocked when I tell them "No, and I dont need it!" Dr. Paun is an expert on health supplements and his advice has allowed me to drastically reduce the need for diabetic meds, evidenced in an amazing drop in my A1C and glucose levels. I have more energy than I can remember in the last decade and dont even get me started on the masterful massage therapists who administer the most wonderful therapeutic massages that one can imagine. Pauns staff is professional, flexible, pleasant, caring, loving, warm and knowledgeable. I cant say enough about the team at Paun Chiropractic. If you are considering or in need of physical therapy or chiropractic adjustments, dont look any further, Dr. Joseph Paun is the man for the job!

I am in my late 30s and have been a patient of both Dr. Joe and Dr. Sarah Paun for two years. In that time span with their treatments I have successfully recovered from: a herniated disc in my lower back, pain and immobility mid-back, pelvic girdle misalignment due to pregnancies and natural deliveries, shoulder and neck pain from the strain of carrying and feeding babies and arthritis, sciatic pain down the back of my legs, and tingling/numbness in my fingers and thumbs. Gentle chiropractic adjustments coupled with light physical therapy, E-STIM (electrode) therapy, and massage therapy have me standing tall and able to jog and practice yoga again. My quality of life and mobility has been improved WITHOUT NSAIDs, pharmaceuticals, injections or surgical corrections. Dr. Sarah thoroughly understood and treated my spinal compression and disc misalignment due to childbearing as well as upper body pain associated with long-term breastfeeding. Dr. Joe continues to help correct my alignment to support healthy posture for daily mobility and exercising. Further, his free monthly lecture series have been enlightening. The Paun family have been so trustworthy with their care that my 6 year old has received chiropractic adjustments to help with back pain due to a fall as well as to improve sleep. The entire staff are friendly, welcoming, and professional. I wholeheartedly recommend Paun Family Chiropractic and Wellness for holistic pain management.

Receiving treatment at Dr. Pauns office has been the best experience Ive had with a doctor. The staff is friendly and helpful, whether early or a few minutes late for my appointment Ive never had to wait more than a few minutes before being seen even when the waiting area was filled with patients. I workout regularly but kept trying to avoid the gym when the aches and pains wouldnt go away and I knew I was doing more harm than good. I realized I needed to get serious about taking care of my body if I wanted to continue working out and improving my fitness--which was all but stalled with shoulder and neck pain and very limited range of motion in my lower back. During my first visit my symptoms were listened to carefully, a treatment plan was made and I saw immediate results and pain relief. At the end of the prescribed 4 weeks of therapy I am pain-free and I havent felt this good in years! I feel stronger, I have more energy, and I sleep better. Im back in the gym and able to complete longer, harder workouts that were impossible before I started getting my spine adjusted. I highly recommend Dr. Joe and his office for chiropractic care as well as massage therapy. Im still continuing once weekly visits and Im confident I will be at my fittest and healthiest this year, with much thanks to Dr. Joe!

As a health care professional, in Orthopedics, I was very hesitant to seek a chiropractor for help with my lower back issues. Deservedly or not, the chiropractic option is generally looked down upon, where I have been, and there may be some places that do not help or are not very professional at all. This is not the case here. I have been going here for several weeks and the improvement in my condition took effect almost immediately. Dr. Joes level of knowledge and compassion is truly remarkable. The office is cozy and comfortable, like grandmas house and the staff is amazing. I dont write reviews often and I never thought Id ever be writing one for a chiropractor but this experience has really changed my life. I have a very physical job assisting in joint replacement surgery, mainly, and Dr. Joe has ensured that I dont have to be in agony after days of lifting and pulling. Do not hesitate to visit. You will not regret it.
